    Chicken Teriyaki
    Dakota S.

Chicken Teriyaki 2.8/5 overall. Meat 2/5. Flavor 3/5. Rice/Noodles 3/5. Size and value 3/5. Teriyaki is one of my absolute favorite foods so I try it everywhere I go, that sweet meat! I realize this is a Pho/Vietnamese focused restaurant so Teriyaki is not their specialty. The Teriyaki itself was a bit overcooked and chewy, good standard Teriyaki sauce. Good white rice, with a sesame coleslaw salad. Decent size portions for the money. Excellent service, they were very fast and the Gyozas were excellent as well. Next time I will try a Bahn Mi or the Pho.

    A worm

This has been my favorite Pho place for a while now and I have never really had a bad experience except today. I ordered my usual steak pho and they served the little veggie tray and I noticed a little worm on the produce. I truly was disgusted when I saw it and told my server, but she refused to remove it from the table so another server we told picked it up and proceeded to ask me what was wrong with it since it was just on the produce.. well it's food that was going to go into my soup.. I was going to eat that worm if I didn't notice it. Completely disappointing/:

Pho and spring roll. Chicken Teriyaki.

Food was really good and at a good price. I had the large pho with spring roll for $18. Service was warm and friendly. The ambiance was colorful with a wall of green plants and a wall with neon LED lighting. My daughter and I come after church and Pho Tai always hits the spot.

    Oxtail pho!

We come to eat here once a week, that is how delicious the food is. I recommend their oxtail pho or combination pho. Not only is the food delicious, they don't shy away from the serving as they are generous. The servers are friendly and welcoming. I would recommend Pho Tai to anyone who craves Pho. Love this place so much that even though the weather is 90+ degrees pho is certainly on my order

I ordered takeout here on a Sunday afternoon through Doordash Pickup for my first visit. I called…read moretwice over the phone, hoping to place an order through this method, but no one answered; went straight to voicemail both times. Just a bit frustrating since I know Doordash charges more.. I also didn't want to place the order at the restaurant because I was so hungry and wanted to grab & go :( I was really craving pho and I liked their menu, so I took the chance and ordered both a regular-sized Meatball Pho (pho bo vien) and their Pho with Steak/Flank/Tendon/Fatty, which seems to be their "pho dac viet." On their menu, the price is listed as $15.99 for a Regular size and $17.99 for a Large. I paid $17.99 for each through Doordash for the regular-size, excluding the almost $4 of tax and bag fee.. Thankfully, I live nearby, so it was just a few minutes to drive over. It's in the same busy parking lot as Safeway and McDonald's but it's more on the opposite side, so I never realized it was in the same lot. Plenty of parking, at least. When I entered, the restaurant had plenty of seating but only a few tables occupied, which made me wonder why they didn't answer their phone.. I know I'm being petty over a few dollars but I just want to get bang for my buck. The inside looked nice and cozy, and I think would be a lovely place to enjoy a bowl of pho on an outcast/rainy day otherwise (if I didn't just want to go straight home lol). I was instantly greeted by a friendly employee that asked if I had a takeout order and escorted me over to a small table, where it was already neatly bagged and ready for me to retrieve. Now, the FOOD. I will say, it was absolutely delicious! Everything was organized and packaged well, so nothing spilled on the ride home. The pho was a good temperature: hot enough to cook the steak, but not overpowering enough to burn your mouth. The regular size still provides ample portions, so both my kiddo and I ate half for lunch, and our other half for dinner. I specifically asked for no beans sprouts with my order, so I do like that they provided enough for my son while still following my instructions. I am not too picky about my pho broth, but I can at least say, the broth here was not watered down. If anything, it might pack too much flavor and might deter some customers, but for me, it was savory and divine! I still had to add my obligatory hoisin and Sriracha sauces, so it might not be the healthiest, but i don't care, I slurped up everything! I usually post images of my food on social media [stories], and actually had a friend ask what the soup was because it looks really good. Some people have a finer palette for "good" Pho but for me, pho is pho as long as it is flavorful and there's a fair amount of MEAT! They offer moderate portions here so I can't complain, and everything was satisfying enough when eaten with the broth. 4 stars because they didn't answer the phone but my son and I devoured everything, so we can at least advocate that the pho is worth it! I'd recommend trying out this restaurant at least, especially if you consider yourself a pho connoisseur (or even a newbie to pho!).

I had been shopping at Fred Meyer for some alcohol, and as I was leaving I noticed Fresh Pho is literally right next door. That alone convinced me to try it, especially since this location shares space with Tealand. You're telling me I can grab pho *and* boba in one stop? Sign me up! This is actually the first pho spot I've tried since moving to Washington, and I'm happy to say it didn't disappoint. Of course, it's nowhere near the same level as homemade pho, but for restaurant-quality pho it definitely satisfied the craving. I ordered a small pho dac biet for takeout, so I can't really comment on other menu items or the full service experience. That said, the restaurant looked clean inside and had some cute lantern decorations that added a nice Asian vibe. The employee who took my order was polite as well. One positive thing I noticed was that the servers appeared to be young, and they were speaking Vietnamese, which I low-key feel like should be a requirement when working at a Vietnamese restaurant anyway so at least I know I'm somewhat receiving the authentic Vietnamese restaurant experience. My pho was packaged neatly for takeout, so nothing spilled during the trip home. It came with two packets of hoisin sauce, two packets of Sriracha, and the usual side of bean sprouts, mint leaves, lime, and green onions that typically come with pho. The portion size was solid too. There was a generous amount of meat and broth--my bowl was actually filled to the brim. I managed to finish everything though, and my stomach was definitely satisfied. All in all, I'd say this was a great first pho experience in Washington. I'd definitely come back again when I'm craving a warm bowl of soup.

The Vietnamese coffee was indeed very bitter, but thank gosh for our very accommodating waitress who was willing to pour in mil k to sweeten it up for me. It took me a bit to finish this drink because it did its job to wake me up after a 12 hour shift, tax filing for the 2025 year, and immediate hangout with Jaric. Jaric got something with chicken, which was okay. I liked it and it was definitely filling! The restaurant is fun with its yellow lighting, but it is one where you are able to still take nice enough photos as well as read the menu.
