All Jersey Mike's are the same- employees that are clearly not crazy to be there, cold dining rooms, and not lots of tables, but boy do these people make a mean sandwich. I picked the tuna salad Mike's Way with extra mayo and it was simple and delicious. The thing was sopping wet with oil and vinegar which dripped all over my sandwich holding hand, but i liked that juice up because it was so good. Even the mouth feel of the sandwich with the tiny bits of cornmeal sticking to the bottom of the sandwich, covered in vinegary oil was nice. Can't wait to get another one. read more

This place was okay for the most part. Staff was friendly and super prompt with taking our order and making our food. The actual store itself was a mess. The air conditioning didn't work (felt so bad for the workers, but they didn't allow that to upset the mood). Management was sitting out in the dining area on their phone and looking completely unbothered by the plight of the workers. With all that said, the food was amazing. 4/10, would get better if the dining area was sorted out and the air conditioning worked. Someone told me they have an excellent Philly. #17, Mike's. Not even remotely good. Worst Philly I have ever had. For the price I paid I would expect a "full" sandwich. Nope. It was about half full. 1st time I've been there in 4 or 5 years as the few times I went before were horrible. Nothing has changed. I do not recommend. Plenty of other places. Recently picked up a sub. Great service and friendly staff! Restaurant was clean and my order ready right on time.

It has been going to this location for a few years now and again it's summer and the poor employees are suffering from the heat. Why? There is no AC in the store. The staff is amazing in their service, Kyle and Amanda (I may have her name wrong) are troopers. Temperature outside said it was eighty two, and it was cooler outside than it was inside. I wish I could leave 0 stars. The female manager with a septum piercing. Persephone was manager on shift and this is how she treated us. Immediately she tells us they are out of white bread and when we told her that's fine she seemed DISAPPOINTED that we would still order. We walk in and they have someone new taking orders. He messed up and skipped me in line which was fine, we have all been new and make mistakes. I asked if I could place my order and told him I wanted a chicken steak sandwich. The lead told us that it would take about 10 minutes. I said that was fine, and AGAIN, she seemed disappointed. So she charges me and proceeds to help but is making sandwiches out of order and once everyone has left the store... (I had been in the store a total of 40 MINUTES I was beyond patient). I get my sandwich and it's steak which I don't eat. I ask for it to be remade and she proceeds to tell me they will remake it and next time I will get a discount. I told her I don't live in the area and would like the refund for today. She refunds me and tells me she is refusing service. When we asked why she told me "have a nice day", she refused to give us a name. Multiple times in the encounter she rolled her eyes, and made comments about the new employee. I get that it's hard when it gets busy but I will literally never step foot in a jersey mikes again from this experience. Does the app not pass on the comments? Every time I ask them to go "easy on the mayo" through the app, they put twice as much mayo and mustard. My wife calls them soup sandwiches because they put so many condiments on them. It's a real shame. The past five visits this place is dirty. Chunks of meat all over the meat slicer. The counter riddled with sandwich toppings from the sandwich station all the way to the cash register. Guy set my sandwich on a dirty counter before asking what toppings I wanted. Walked in to Jersey Mike's on Martin Way & Sleater Kinney to grab a sandwich thinking they make it in front of me that can't screw up sanitation too bad.. Worker is cleaning lobby and asks me to be patient to remove trash. No worries I say. As he walks past me to go to back he says give him a moment to wash his hands. Super. Love it. As he walks to the handwashing station on the line he goes ahead and stops at the griddle to handle the offset spatula and flip the bacon and remove some of it from the flattop. He then goes and washes his hands and at this point I'm not eating here but am curious how this will play out. He immediately goes from washing his hands back to the offset spatula and the griddle to finish removing the rest of the bacon and set aside as finished. Sanitized to instantly garbage germ infested. My complaint was not so much with the food itself (which was adequate), but with how the store handled online orders -- which is to say, not at all! Not liking this place is like not liking a wining lotto ticket; your actions defy all logic. After coming here I am now a true believer that JM's (Jersey Mikes) is the "best" option for a fast-food sub sandwich in the game (fast-food industry). Check it (let me explain): there is no place, not even Whole Foods that slices everything fresh when you order "any" sandwich. That being said, that means all of your sandwich ingredients are free of nitrates and the usual chemical spray tans that keep them moist and colorful. For example, the cheese is fresh, lettuce is fresh, the onions are fresh, the meat is sliced fresh, the bread is sliced fresh, and it is something you can really tell when you take that first bite. The only draw back is that you won't be able go to Subway or Jimmy John's for the rest of your life. On this occasion I got a #8 Club Sub (turkey, provolone, ham, mayo, and bacon) and it is easily their most flavorful sub on the menu with "maybe" the exception of the #13 Italian. We ordered three hot sandwiches, they cooked one of them. Then they made the entire orders for two orders behind us before even starting our other two sandwiches. Then they gave us the WRONG sandwiches, and got kind of pissy when I told them we weren't given what we ordered and tried d to argue with me about what we ordered. On top of all of that, they forgot the cheese and other toppings on the first sandwich they DID make. Very disappointed actually, because normally the service here is great, and I understand it IS covid, but cooking orders out of order and arguing about what a customer ordered aren't covid issues, that's just poor customer service. This used to be my favorite location to go to. I went in there today, with my daughter, ordered our sandwiches. That part went smoothly. The workers were rude to the customer ahead of us, for a miscommunication and they made the wrong sandwich. The customer pointed it out and they blamed her. Dumped the ingredients off the bread and reused it to make another sandwich for her. It was our turn to pay, 2 sandwiches made into combos. One with a bottle of water instead of a fountain drink. Miscommunication again and I was yelled at for asking for my daughters fountain drink. They didn't do two combos when they rang me up. That's fine I said, just keep the bottle of water snd let's just do a swap for a fountain drink. They took offense to this and I was yelled at for even suggesting such a thing. All I asked was if I could just switch the bottle of water I paid for, and get a fountain drink instead. They insisted I pay for another drink, refused to even listen to me and I was yelled at by both employees. I said fine, I'll take the bottle of water, pay for a fountain drink, and I then dared to ask that they made sure they rang up both bags of chips since the miscommunication happened about the combo and drink debacle. Got the Philly cheesesteak on gluten free (gluten free bread can u believe!? they even had a little gluten free cookie available too, how considerate), added portobello mushrooms and jalapeños. They didn't get a single aspect of my order wrong - and this was during the lunch rush! I waited about 15 minutes start of the order to receiving the sandwich, and watched them bang out numerous different big a** sandwiches in the meantime. Those folks are grinding it out over there. Not a good first impression, they are a small location and of course the time I come in to grab a sub, their one and only register is frozen and can't authorize credit card transactions let alone cash. Parking lot is small too, and not the easiest to get in/out not, not enough parking spots. There is a long line building up as I write this, the employees weren't trained to fix this situation, are on the phone with the owners to get "Tech Support's" number...shouldn't that be posted in store??
