Wow what an amazing experience! I live far away and all my mother wanted for her Mother's Day was food from 4th. She lives locally so I called and they graciously allowed me to pay over the phone despite that not being typical policy to allow my mother her wish. I eagerly placed her order and told her it would be ready in ten. What we hadn't prepared for was her job unfairly keeping her from getting there until almost an hour later. This amazing business made sure she didn't come to a less than fresh sandwich. And from what I was told not only was the sandwich ridiculously good but large enough for two meals. The ambiance was welcoming and very clean. Their menu offers weekly new dessert picks because the chef has limitless creativity. Easily of the best reuben sandwiches I have ever had. They did not skimp out on the amount of meat on this sandwich, and paired it so well with a nice layer of sauerkraut. The photo I am sharing is only half the sandwich, so the portions were well worth your money! They give you the choice of potato salad, chicken noodle, or fries with your sandwich and I got the soup. Delightful! The people were lovely. We split a burger with soup so the lady wrapped the halves separately and split the soup. The food was really good, very flavorful. But the milkshakes! This has been recommended to me for awhile, but I never had the chance to try it until today. We chose the drive thru. I had my 2 year old in the back, and we got a sandwich for us to share along with a cookie. I gave her a tiny bit of the cookie, while I started on the sandwich on the drive home. She asked for the sandwich while she had the cookie. I was shocked. I said of course! Handed her some, and she finished it and requested "more" while she still had the cookie in her hand! I asked my granddaughter where she wanted to go for her 12th birthday. She said, "5th on 4th", I checked the hours online, got off early from work and then picked her up. We arrived at 4:30, we were told by staff they were closed. I said, "I checked the hours online". She said, "we are a family business". Seriously?? that is an excuse for not being professional. I know this is my 3rd add to this review but I needed to add some pictures. Honestly if you have never been here go. They make your food fresh everytime. I need to add that if you are an onion ring person get theres. Anywhere that has onion rings I get them and honestly Eagons/Bigtoms have my favorite style of onions rings. So I compare all onion rings to theres. 5th on 4ths are the breaded version of Eagons/Bigtoms seriously. They are cooked so perfectly. read more

I have to go back. That is a promise. I had a Reuben that was so hefty that I had to share it with my wife. Oozing sauce, delicious sauerkraut, and smooth corned beef smashed between two pieces of marble rye. I cried a little when I tasted my first, second, and third bite...my wife snatched the Sammy from me and it hurt my feelings. I should have gotten two. If you go to this place, it is a fast paced small deli style restaurant. You can eat there, but I recommend calling in your order. This place used to be great! We recently got there right at opening and ate dine-in, only to find that everything comes take-out style, in STYROFOAM. Hard pass. The sandwiches (I got the reuben, which I've had here many times and have always loved) were not nearly as good as they used to be, and in fact, both of our stomachs were upset the rest of the day. (I have an iron stomach). We used the restroom as we left and wow: they were FILTHY. I say "they were filthy" because after I saw the condition of the first bathroom, I turned around and tried the second, which turned out to be just as filthy. I am not sure when they had last cleaned them, because we got there at opening, but there was urine and pubic hair everywhere. Disgusting. It looked like the bathroom at some remote gas station. read more
