Quintessential old school diner. Love this place, felt like I was back East. The food was delicious, service was fast and accurate, and the staff were friendly. Lots of options, plenty of seating, and reasonable prices.

Mega Chicken Fried Steak.

The food here is superb. There is always a crowd here, so be prepared to wait for a table. Once you garner a table, the service is fast, efficient, and personable. If you need something, just ask for it and they will get it for you. The ambiance is that of a busy diner because, well, that is what it is! For this review, I fully ascribe to the notion that a busy diner is an excellent diner. The food is phenomenal and the customers know it. I have only tried their breakfast items but the rest of their food looks great as well. The portions are large and the prices are reasonable. They also serve good quality food. My favorite meal is the mega chicken fried steak with 3 eggs, hash-browns, and toast. It's enough for 3 meals, so I always have leftovers. Their breakfast juices are really good. I wish there were less competition for seating, but they have a good thing here so it's worth the wait. My advice is to go early when they open in order to avoid the breakfast rush, or go in the afternoon after the rush. Enjoy!

ALL DAY BREAKFAST!? Yes. We went on new year's day and it was packed. Customer service didn't miss a beat. Very friendly and helpful. We waited in the car with a buzzer to let us know when our table was ready. They brought my 2 year old a booster and crayons and paper for her and my 3 year old. My kids had eggs and meat and pancakes. They loved it. I had the chicken fried steak and the texture was great. Flavor not too exciting but it was very tender and cooked well. My wife had the Martin Way scramble and was happy. I love that they have home fries instead of the usual frozen hashbrowns a lot of restaurants serve nowadays. Busy and loud. Attentive staff. Decent food.

Large, high quality, tasty portions! 15 minute wait on a Sunday morning but well worth it!

The "double" Mimosa.

I need to leave a review here specifically for the server that was working ALONE WHEN IT WAS SUPER BUSY. It's hard to watch someone try their best when they're the only person working. I don't know if that's normal or if they were working alone. I also work in the business so I have compassion. Michelle was amazing even though she was overwhelmed. It's obvious she knows what she's doing but without support, that's rough. My chicken fried steak and eggs were amazing and always with the mimosa and coffee. While busy the other guests seemed happy but I did notice a few people that were frustrated with the lack of servers available. It's a diner for sure but having helpful coworkers can make a big difference. Thank you to Michelle for making our experience great while you were spread to thin. Ambiance is tough in this business.

My son and I had a wonderful experience here at the Martin Way Diner! After a fun afternoon of playing at the park, my 5-year old and I were in the mood for delicious, simple, home cooked food in a laidback setting. We found it here! Set up just like we expected, the Martin Way Diner has many booths and tables to chose from with partitions to retain a wee bit of privacy. The service was great - our waitress was extremely patient with having a kid at the table and didn't rush us at all. She was super! The food too, was amazing. I had the patty melt (one of my all time favs at a diner) and my little guy had breakfast for lunch ... pancakes and bacon! The patty melt was delicious, cooked wonderfully and loaded with cheese and grilled onions. A side of fries made the meal complete. My son loved the pancake - fluffy and light - and the bacon was meaty and yummy too! I highly recommend the Martin Way Diner! Looking forward to a return trip to try something else on the menu!

Top Sirloin with baked potato.

If you're looking for diner food, park that 57 Chevy at the Martin Way Diner. Looking for a decent chicken fried steak we stumbled upon this place just west of the I5. I ordered the chicken fried and my companion the 10 oz top sirloin. Both meals came with our choice of sides which in our case were a substantial baked potato , zucchini and side salad with blue cheese dressing. The Cfs was OK but the medium-rare top sirloin was perfect. I obviously chose wrong and should have also ordered the sirloin! Cooked on a seasoned grill, this was the best cheap steak I ever tasted in the PNW. Juicy inside, perfect temperature and every bite flavorful. Extremely satisfying. The side salad and potatoes while good took the sidelines this time. Like McArthur, I shall return and order the perfect and affordable 10oz sirloin. Now on to the service; very good. Friendly attentive and fast. Apart from the marginal chicken fried steak, the only downside is a mandatory surcharge for using debit or credit cards. Bring cash for the best experience.

Got the classic breakfast. That sausage patty was nice and tender and tasty

$8.99 for a cup of soup and $1.50 charge for a to go order. Total $11.48, for a cup of soup. They just lost a costumer. This is ridiculous.

The burgers were deliciously sloppy and the sweet potato fries were on point. Has all the ambiance and flavor of an old school diner.

We ordered the indian burger - vada pav (highly recommend & delicious), chicken rice bowl (tasty), chicken bombay roll (indian burrito with chicken - nice flavors and huge) along with their gun powder fries (amazing). While I liked all their dishes their chicken bombay roll had way too much rice but had good flavors. It was tasty just a little too much of rice imo. I reduced a star for 2 reasons - 1. This place isnt cheap 2. They change their food truck location which is okay but their online order via Uber Eats does not work. Atleast when I was trying for 2 days it said the food truck is not available while they actually were in operation. They would not answer their phone call and we had to locate their food truck to place our bulk order for a large group. Hence reduced the star. All in all I would order back from here but hope they figure out why Uber Eats or Postmates or delivery.com were unable to process any online order even when they were around changing locations in Olympia. Dont have the bandwidth to chase them on the streets of Olympia tbh.

Pros: Chill lounge/sitting area at the front corner with sofas, a low bar (accessibility friendly) and board games. Big tables to accommodate groups and various bar seating. Large brewery menu screens with large range and the food looked good. Tbh we came for brews so can't comment on food. The Wildman Beer brand was so-so. Some better than others! Cons: FOH staff interaction. Why we love pubs/breweries is because of the chill, friendly, conversational flow of FOH; their knowledge of the beers and/or cocktails, their passion for sharing it with new customers so they come back again and again ... this vibe fell short at Wildman. TL;DR Good for a basic group of people looking for a brewery experience in town with room for large groups. Not for those who are expecting an awesome brewery experience -- a la PDX, DEN, PHX, ATX or SEA.

But when I saw that they opened up a location in Olympia and Steve and I were going to Olympia for a show it made perfect sense to go to this new location. Downtown where our show was is super walkable and this brewery is right there. When we went in what escaped my attention at the Raymond location was that I was particularly impressed with their own mead selection. And the mead did not disappoint in the slightest. The first mead I had was their Oak Aged Classic Mead. Such fantastic balance in body and the oak flavor was truly impressive! I got another mead from the list, the Sneaky Bastard Meer. It's called meer I believe due to the five different kinds of hops they put into it. Great floral and honey flavored highlights! Our experience here was excellent! Steve enjoyed his drink selections as well! Definitely returning for more mead enjoyment!

They had one guy taking orders who seemed to be the owner and one guy working the grill. When I arrived there were already a few people waiting which isn't uncommon. I placed my order for, A double deluxe. Pretty straightforward. Double cheeseburger really. People continued to arrive as we all continued to wait. 40 minutes later I got my burger. Just finished it. Shockingly, it was quite good. Tasted like it always has so I was stoked. That being said, the service was problematic to say the least. Their cashier who I can only assume is the owner was bickering with the guy on the grill and publicly. They were arguing over workflow on what should be prioritized, what he needed, etc. They did this in front of us. There must have been at least six of us waiting inside and out. The lack of professionalism was disappointing. The food was still good but I don't think I'll go back. There are other places who make a good burger like Tom's, or Vans!

This is not a sit-down restaurant, but for a busy person like me, it was just what I needed. The food came out piping hot and in a jiffy. I got the garlic jalapeño dipping sauce instead of plain old tartar, which the kind gentleman behind the counter recommended, and now I 10/10 it too. I am on crutches right now, and since I had a short wait for the food, they kindly suggested that I wait in the car comfortably and brought my food and drink that I ordered right out to me. What awesome, top-tier service!
