Came here with friends for brunch--our first time visiting. We loved the sea theme and all the wall décor throughout; it gave the place a really fun vibe. We made a reservation, so our table was ready when we arrived and we didn't have to wait, which was great. The menu isn't huge, but it has solid brunch options. The beignets were a big hit with both the kids and the adults! My meal was good--nothing spectacular, but a solid breakfast overall. The only downside was the service. I understand brunch can get busy, but my coffee was only refilled once before our food arrived, and no one came by to refill our water during the meal. Overall, a nice spot with good food and a fun atmosphere--just hoping for more attentive service next time

We walked from Olympia Yacht club

We walked over from Olympia Yacht Club. A really great experience! First they accommodated us (4)and our two small dogs in a very protected patio!! Secondly, waiter was awesome, friendly and knowledgeable about their fare. attentive but not smothering. We enjoyed their starters Pork bellyw/ginger Asian sauce and a Brie and rhubarb served with toast triangles. The special,Prawns carmelized onions with homemade noodle, delicious. Pork chop was very good. Our waiter was helpful in wine pairings which was always appreciated. Lastly the Ginger Carrot cake to did for!! I'm just waiting to get hungry so I can go back!!

Delicious lunch experience relaxing chill atmosphere, got to eat and do some work. Staff were friendly and helpful and Chef salad was perfect. Right by water walkway to enjoy after eating. Ashley was my server and she was lovely

Have been here several times. Its been a few years. Grabbed lunch here today with my cousin. We got salmon salad, mahi mahi tacos, wings and shrimps in purgatory. Overall service was friendly and quick. Food was tasty and well seasoned. All the seafood was fresh. The decor is always beautiful here. Super cute spot.

Mushrooms

The food here is wonderful, fresh oysters, well-spiced and succulent mussels, juicy pork chop and really quality mushrooms (side-dish). Good portions also, and large enough to share. Service could use some work, we were very surprised by how long we had to wait to be seated with a reservation and what that wait looked like. Greeted then told to wait, okay, no problem, but I have a feeling that the person doing host duty wasn't the regular person and perhaps even the manager, and to tell us that they had to set up real quick and then do none of that and stand with their back to us while they greeted and had a long conversation with other staff, was a big turn off. Also, the place was only maybe 20% full. I don't understand and wouldn't presume to know what's going on behind the scenes, as we're just the customers, but it was a hard start to an otherwise great dinner. The place itself inside and out is a gem, little touches everywhere and a fun octopus display for taking pics at the waiting area is so cute. I really liked the fact that they keep their cakes under glass to view, but also to ensure the icing doesn't get that too hard or frozen taste, nice. Drinks could also be improved, just an opinion, the espresso martini was watery tasting, almost like made with coffee vs espresso, and other ones we ordered just weren't it for us. But, we were ordering off menu vs signature drinks, so this could be an us thing for sure. All in, we had a good time and would come again.

A miss for me

This place was a miss for me. I love trying places downtown but I probably won't be back. It's pretty pricey for what you get. Food was a miss for me. Service was okay. The decor was not my vibe. :(

What a cool concept for a restaurant! Just driving through and found this gem on yelp and decided to come try it out. We got oysters, the dip, and the octopus. The oysters were, well fresh oysters so good job. The dip was really good I thoroughly enjoyed it and we even asked for more bread. The octopus was done well, but sadly it was not to my liking. Overall I would say the place is definitely a 3 star on food. But why the four stars you say? Well the inside is just so cool! All the different art work and how the restaurant was laid out inside and out it was really a good experience. Also, our waitress was just so on top of it. Always filling our drinks, making polite banter, and overall attentive to our needs. Check it out, if anything the food is ok but the decorations are really cool!

Cesar salad with anchovies

Nice warm place in rainy Olympia. I came here on a Thursday afternoon. The shepherd's pie was a little bland. The Cesar's salad was light with any protein of choice. I had the anchovies.

Veggie Benedict
Zach L.

Their Veggie Benedict was fantastic. Great flavor and attention to detail, I was expecting a tomato and avocado, and it came with a medley of peppers, spinach and tomatoes. My wife loves their Lox Plate, and raves that this is her favorite breakfast place in town. Even when they are busy, the vibe is always very good, and the service is excellent. We have had several servers and they are all friendly and accommodating (we have young children, and that can be an experience). Their Hummus Plate is also surprisingly good, and a sleeper on their lunch menu. Worth checking out. Get extra olives and extra bread.

Brandon B.

Wings were top notch. They clearly do some sort of brine before frying which is appreciated. Mac and cheese was decent. Just get regular Mac don't add the crab. Steak, let's just say don't get it. Waitress and manager were beyond kind. I would come back and give them another shot

Next best was the bread - it was perfectly soft inside with a crispy crust. Between how oily the dish was and my nose running from the increased spice as I continued eating, I wouldn't return for this dish. The eggs weren't noticeable in appearance or taste- I had to search for them. The "creamy grits" were creamy, but the black pepper taste was STRONG. Definitely ordered the side for the "creamy" factor, hoping when the server said harissa in the eggs would have a mild spice, that the grits would calm my mouth. The amount of pepper made this unsuccessful. But if you like black pepper a lot then you'll enjoy them. My son enjoyed the beignet's. The server was also the host and he was kind. It was easy to get his attention when needed. I didn't see anyone with a grin on their face after taking bites of their food. I looked around quite a bit out of curiosity. So for ambiance, kind and prompt service, and the possibilities of the menu I gave it 4 stars. We only tried the few things I mentioned. I did also appreciate the bottle of water ready on every table. Note that there is no kids menu and it's mostly table seating. So maybe try on your own or with other adults, and leave the kids at home?

Cozy atmosphere. There were 3 employees that night, the woman who initially waited on us actually appeared to roll her eyes when we ordered. She seemed pretty rushed and just didn't want to work that night or something. The bartender was friendly and came for our second round and he actually seemed more welcoming and friendly. The drinks menu is a bit small (compared to other nearby bars). We got 5 drinks, one espresso one which wasn't great and the rest were alright. Nothing that made us go "Oh man, try that!" but they weren't bad either. The food, looks better than normal bar food, which I loved. We ordered "Balls of Gibralter" - North African meatballs, which were *SO GOOD*, so delicious EXCEPT the texture. The flavors were all amazing, but it was as if there was too much egg and not enough breadcrumbs because it gave the impression of being wildly undercooked, even though you could see no pink. If they were firmer, they would've been perfect. They seem to have a rotating grilled cheese special I wouldn't mind checking out next time. The ambiance-lovely. The service - meh The drinks - average The food - has a lot of potential

... Where do I even begin? The 3lb cinnamon roll? The…read morewaffles, the brisket??? Don't worry I took so many photos. Hash by FAR is the best breakfast place in WA. By FAR. Now I was influenced by all the tik tok videos I'd seen of this place.i thought ooo this place looks good! I wasn't prepared. Not at all. My husband and I went around10:30 on a Friday and checked in at the front, signed our name up and waited for maybe 3 minutes. Got seated very very fast and started spying on the tables around us, you know " a fact finding mission" Need to see what others are ordering and saying. They have a large menu and a really good variety of breakfast and sides as well. This was great for me because I wanted a waffle. A big waffle with butter and syrup.... Plus to try something more adventurous. They brought us out a sweet cornbread with I think Marion Berry butter. So so good. I ordered the Beechers brisket hash and the side waffle. Chris ordered the strawberry agave mimosa and the BBB. Food came out within 10 minutes and was hot and smelled Devine. Look at the photos. I mean, what else needs to be said? Everything, every single thing was phenomenal. There was no weak dish. Hashbrowns were cooked to perfection, brisket melted in your mouth. The hollandaise sauce plentiful and delicious. The waffle was huge. They actually asked how I wanted my eggs and listened! Best over hard eggs! I love that the syrup is on the table because I covered that waffle in syrup and when they give you those little mini things of syrup it kills the vibe. So River of delicious maple syrup aplenty, I do appreciate the little containers of butter as I can't be trusted with butter and waffles I'd have gained 20 pounds from the butter alone. Smart guys very smart. Our sever was fantastic, they were busy busy but he took the time to listen to us try to express how impressed we were. We were mid food coma at this point. I don't think we were forming words, just excited food nosies. Now, the 3 pound cinnamon roll. We took this bad boy to go. My husband is big on cinnamon rolls and considers himself essentially an all knowing cinnamon bun being. 10/10 they are sweet fluffy and smothered in frosting. ( I am unfortunately allergic to cinnamon but he assures me it was the best) Prices, honestly I thought it was going to be way more expensive. The plating of the food alone looks expensive. The food was so good I forgot we did eventually have to pay the check. But when it came my flabbers were gasted. $60 for 2 very large breakfasts, a side waffle that wasn't a side at all it was huge Belgium waffle a mimosa and the 3pound $14 by itself fyi cinnamon roll. We took probably half our food home and had dinner and breakfast the next day. It was tons of food. I even joked to my Husband that I might not leave this review because I don't wanna make it busier than it is so we could keep it quiet so we could come back all the time. This place is worth waiting for. It will be a regular stop for us moving forward. If you are reading this, do yourself a favor and just go just go and experience it for yourself. It will not disappoint.
