    Egg's Benedict
    Crystina S.

The food's delicious. The egg's benedict had a mild spicy kick, potatoes were seasoned well and crunchy in the best way. Loved the water bottle immediately on the table to access immediate refills. Love the tilting umbrella's outside to help get just the right amount of sun or shade. Apparently bee's are a common issue. One kept trying to enjoy my meal - and the waitresses comment made it clear it's highly common. Server's were kind when they made a point to check on customers, but were not readily available. (Seemed like the kitchen area was the hang out space between tasks- which feels awkward to go to trying to get a servers attention, and there is no hostess.)

The owner was our server and was super friendly and accommodating. The eggs Benedict were absolutely delicious with the creamed spinach, and eggs were cooked perfectly (too many places over poach the eggs, leaving me disappointed). HUGE, delicious portion for the kids pancakes! Granddaughter was a little disappointed they don't do the "Frenchie" pancakes anymore, but was still happy.

If you haven't tried this place out, you absolutely must! The vibe is very OLY and service was amazing! Very friendly and easy going. The decor was literally Frenchie's. Cute pictures of Frenchies throughout the restaurant. Plenty of seating outside, we chose inside because it was bit chilly but I'll definitely sit outside when the weather permits. Street parking. Now to the best part! The food was absolutely delicious and the servings are plentiful. I couldn't finish mine. We ordered 2 breakfast bowls and SOB son of a biscuit. We were all very happy with our delicious food. Prices are fair because they give you a hearty portion and offer a togo box. If you like breakfast, I highly recommend.

Full platter Biscuits and gravy, side potatoes and kids pancake

Service was lackkkinnggg. I mean from the moment I stepped in, the vibe was unwelcoming. It was Sunday around 1pm. They were at about half capacity. The gentleman who sat us and took our order must have been having an off day, which is allowed. After our 5 year old accidentally spilled hot chocolate I thought he'd throw daggers with his eyes (side note, if a kid is ordering hot chocolate maybe don't fill to the absolute brim then add whipped cream-- one of those cute overfilled mug moments but even an adult with great dexterity it causes a slight spill just ever slightly touching the whipped cream). He did perk up once my daughter handed him the tip. Food was pretty decent; my favorite bite was the homestyle potatoes. Sampled my kids pancakes, fluffy delicious. I ordered the Biscuits and gravy (3 split Biscuits for the full order) and while I committed to this knowing it wasn't traditional (andouille sausage used) it overall just wasn't that great to me. It was incredibly savory herb wise, tasted like Thanksgiving if that makes sense. It wasn't for me. Would probably come back all that said. My mom swears it runs better when the owner is around. I'd like to try their Benedict. There was a very friendly redhead who gave us towels to clean up the hot chocolate. Thanks girl.

    Breakfast Sandwich

Got the breakfast sandwich with tofu, and avocado and I added cream cheese. The potatoes on the side are the best part. I love supporting local businesses and I'm sure there are people that swear by this place, but I just wasn't too impressed. $25 for a sandwich that lacked flavor and was all one mushy texture. The sourdough bread was good though! No hate ever just was not personally for me. Super cute though and the staff were great!

Service was excellent and pleasant, vibe felt local and welcoming. Prices felt fair to high depending on the item Pancakes tasted like a thick funnel cake in a good way Eggs Benedict was perfect and a must get. Flavor and cook were to perfection. Even the spinach had good flavor to it. If you can get it on a biscuit, you should do so. The home fries were delicious as well. You could tell care was put into every aspect of this dish Egg bowl was a miss for me. I wouldn't recommend it unless they re-imagine the dish as a whole. Felt more like an $18, 2 eggs over easy with home fries. I heard there used to be a line around the corner when they sold donuts. Would have loved to try them and hope they add them to the menu. Overall in my opinion, Frenchies is worth coming to and checking out if in the area.

Cute little breakfast spot with French Bulldog photos all along the walls. Thankfully there was no wait at all to be seating. I was ecstatic to finally come across a diner that serves orange juice that actually has pulp in it. It was delicious, as was the scrambled eggs, and the breakfast sandwich that included cream cheese and jam. It's all meter street parking here, but free on the weekends. Definitely recommend.

Bloody Mary with bacon and gluten free donut

The service was friendly even though they were close to closing. I was sad that they no longer have the selection of gluten free donuts and the only option was the one donut with the Bloody Mary. The upside was the drink was great, the donut not so much. I enjoyed the large option of gluten free items and didn't have any cross contamination reactions (I am coeliac). I had the patty melt which was delicious. The rest of my Party had the biscuits and gravy which they said was delicious (a nice little spice due to the chorizo gravy) - it is not gluten free. The other guest had the burger which was very good and has a gluten free option too. Being GF it was nice to have so many delicious options. I'm just bummed about not being able to get more donuts.

An Eggs Benedict is an Eggs Benedict right? Well not if you add creamed spinach! You heard me, Frenchie's came up with a twist to the classic and instantly made it one of my favs. They also use thick ham steak rather than a thin sad slice of Canadian bacon and it is absolute genius. The hollandaise is light with the perfect amount of lemon and eggs poached perfectly. I like the home style potatoes with grilled onions, slightly crispy but not overdone. The service is friendly and the outdoor seating is perfect for a sunny morning.

There are so many places to choose from in Olympia, we selected the locally owned Frenchies on 4th for today's local adventure. This is actually the second time we have eaten here in as many weeks. The food was so good we had to come back a second time to verify its deliciousness! It is a medium sized eatery with adornment of French bull pictures all over the place, stylistically might I add. There is ample seating for 1-4 person groups I am sure they could accommodate larger parties if need be. And the service is top notch. I am very disappointed they did not recognize us since we were just there a week ago, however our server with the red hair made up for it with over producing in the service and nicety department lol. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and approachable which always makes the meal that much more enjoyable. I ordered the half serving of the SOB (pictured). Best biscuits and gravy I've had in the area. I am a southern east coaster by birth, and always enjoy coming across a southern dish especially a good one! Not too thick nor too thin, with andouilles sausage and a small Kungfu kick on the back end of consumption. The pancake was buttery and crispy. I definitely enjoyed my meal, and have added this establishment to the will return list. You will not be disappointed!

In this photo you see the Mario's Breakfast burrito w/ Vegan cheese. They have regular cheese too!

The food, hot, fresh and they even serve Vegan Cheese (my personal fav as I can't have any dairy and it's always upsetting going to places and they don't have it). I loved the service, everyone is sooo chill and I appreciate them checking on you. The overall ambience was pretty awesome too, I'm alll about the vibes and love going on self dates, so bring a journal, bring your headphones and vibe out. Thanks Frenchie's on 4th! YOU WILL SEE ME AGAIN FOR THIS BURRITO HENNY

Finding a parking spot is the hardest thing to do, but when you do its a pleasant walk to this corner diner/cafe. It's bright purple with the distinct smell of coffee wafting from their open doors. I walked in and there was one very busy waitress who was doing all the things. She seated me as soon as she had everything in order for herself and it was nice location inside the establishment. There are outside seating too, but I was the only one so I guess inside was best. She immediately gave me a pitcher of ice cold water (which i love) and a menu. I ordered a breakfast bowl #3 with potatoes, red bell peppers, onions, eggs, hollandaise sauce , and spinach because they were out of Microgreens. I also ordered a pancake on the side. The food was delivered in good time. My only complaints are; that was the flattest pancake I've ever gotten. I think they must've over worked the batter. Also maybe dress the spinach with something before putting it on top of a hot dish? Chopped was ok, if it was wilted or steamed with some salt or oil would've put that dish to the top! All in all the food was ok, the service was wonderful and I hope they stay a bit longer. Can't wait to see what they do.

Excellent location, great breakfast food and super friendly staff! Ambiance is very cool and clean, lots of French bulldog pics which is adorable! We really enjoyed our breakfast and will be back. Hubby had the breakfast burrito which was super tasty. I had the eggs Benedict with avocado instead of ham and no upcharge! Coffee was excellent, too!! Lots of Vegan options! Overall very impressed for a newer breakfast place! Definitely worth trying!

I gave a 5 star rating a year ago although visited several times since then. I can't figure out what happened. Did the chef (s) move on, or pass away and a crew from a local fast food restaurant was hired as a replacement? I ordered the meal with filet, crab leg, lobster (portion?) with baked potato and Death by Peaches for dessert. I have had crab legs here before. This had been boiled until there was no flavor, and very ittle meat. And that was the selling point for me. The lomaster was fine but the sauce wasn't hollandaise as the bartender said. A watery, mustardy sauce. Not terrible but not very good either. Ordered filet medium, came well done. I took it home hoping to add to chili but too tough to eat. Took the baked potato home to save room for dessert and it was good. The real slap in the face was the dessert. I have ordered Death by peaches over and over and was never disappointed. What arrived was a heavy, dry, dense cake without much flavor, some peaches and a small scoop of ice cream. It needed a lot of ice cream or peaches to get through it. I left most of it. I don't mind splurging and I have without complaint but this was such a a disappointment. Most of the patrons were older and I had to wonder if management feels their expectations are lower? I will close by stating that wait staff and bartenders are top notch. Including Isiah from yesterday. Above and beyond even with a busy crowd. Never a complaint about the service. You are no longer my go to restaurant that I can depend on. Oh, had two drinks that were fine but the wine list is meh.
