Corned Beef Hash with an Overeasy Egg

Fantastic staff & the food was sooooo yummy! Mom had the avocado Benedict & I had the corned beef hash. Fresh, delicious, filling. I wished we lived in the area so we could return!

Monday morning at 8am and filled up quickly. Clean establishment with cool vibe and nice decor. Server was attentive and polite. Benedict is Rancheros was a hit. So good with the hatch chilies. Potatoes look dry, but nice and fluffy on the inside. Verona breakfast sandwich was much larger than anticipated and the smoky cheese and sauce made it delicious. We will definitely be back!

The service was wonderful, the food was delightfu, hot, large portions and Delicious! Got the 3 lbs sourdough cinnamon roll to go, how could we not! We have wanted to stop here, but every time the line was put the door, now we know why! It's worth the wait! We will be back! Next time Benedict!

Food was delicious. Great flavors on every dish. Cute indoor and outdoor dining area. Wait for a table was around 15 minutes on a Wednesday morning. Food took a bit to come out and our waitress didn't check in on us often.

Okay so the only reason this is 4 instead of 5 is because of the wait. We went for Saturday brunch around 10:30 am and waited 30 minutes for a table. And the food took another 30 minutes to come out. But the service was friendly and attentive. The food was good, a little on the heavy side, but I ordered a heavy meal so I can't blame them for that. I asked for poached eggs and they came out PERFECTLY! Not everybody does poached eggs correctly, but they nailed it. Only one toilet for the entire restaurant, but it was clean. The outdoor table we were seated at was on a slant so we kept sliding, which was funny more than anything. I'd totally come back if I'm in the area again!

I've heard this place can get busy, and we arrived on a Saturday around 10am. We waited around 20-25 min. The area around is nice for a walk, so no big deal! Parking can be a bit tight. The inside is standard, nice bathrooms! We did go as a party of two to split the cinnamon roll, which I think was a bit much... would recommend at least 4 for it and take it home to be warmed. The flavor was good but not a must-try. Our server was amazing! She was attentive, sweet, and really helpful. The BBB (21 I think on the menu) was amazing. Great flavor and size, and pretty filling! It was pretty unique tasting. Overall, it was a great breakfast experience. Just $20 per entree for breakfast gets to be a bit steep .... Although I guess that's most places now. Would go again!

Arrive hungry, leave full. The portions are huge! The Portuguese scrambler tasted great. Arrive early or be prepared to wait. Parking is a bit tricky.

Came here on a Friday, the 20-25 minute wait was worth it. A bit loud sitting inside, but the food was delicious. Where else can you get a 3lb cinnamon bun for $13. I didn't try it instead had the croissant Monte Cristo which was tasty. I am not a local but wish I had a place with these unique menu offerings near me.

    Chicken fried steak, half order

I have seen this place over the months and it's VERY popular on the weekends, so we opted to go on the weekday. About a 20 minute wait. Sat down, waiter came up with a much needed pot of coffee. Ordered food with only minor changes. Now to the food. I'll say first, we were pleasantly pleased with the food. But there's some differences. The corned beef appeared to be minus any nitrates and you can taste it. But it was still absolutely delicious with what appeared to be pieces of shaved corned beef. My half order of chicken fried steak is enormous. In fact, for our meals and two coffees, we were stuffed! The diner is your usual diner crowd, several compact tables dotted around the area that look cozy and comfortable. The diners are generally too busy eating to make it noisy. If you want a hearty breakfast at a really good price (we were 43 and some change before tip) then this is a MUST stop place to get your fill.

Fast service, energetic atmosphere and great breakfast. The cinnamon roll French toast was perfect and I loved the thick cut bacon. It was cooked perfectly crispy!

We started with the patatas bravas, gambas pil pil (butter garlic shrimp), oysters (both raw and cooked), and a hummus platter, and everything was excellent. The true standout, however, was the smoked salmon Alfredo--an absolutely incredible dish and one of the best pastas I've had in a long time. We added some chopped jalapeños for extra heat, but honestly, it was fantastic even on its own. The dessert was equally impressive, with a cake that was incredibly moist and the perfect way to end the meal. The wine selection deserves special mention as well. They offer a great variety of Spanish wines that pair beautifully with the menu. Service was fast, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit. The atmosphere is one of Octapas Café's biggest strengths. The restaurant features a beautiful, spacious dining room, plenty of outdoor seating, and even a private event space for larger gatherings and celebrations. Too much sugar does that - kills the flavor. I had Lavender Nojito and Strawberry Coconut cooler (I believe this was the name). Nojito was less sweet than the cooler, but still too sweet.
