I liked that upon entering they have a IPad for you to sign into so you can be on a waitlist and then they're able to text you when they're ready. Upon sitting, they got us a high chair since we had our toddler daughter, we immediately got water and coffee plus some coloring sheets which was nice because my daughter was pretty hangry. Okay so the only reason this is 4 instead of 5 is because of the wait. We went for Saturday brunch around 10:30 am and waited 30 minutes for a table. And the food took another 30 minutes to come out. But the service was friendly and attentive. The food was good, a little on the heavy side, but I ordered a heavy meal so I can't blame them for that. I asked for poached eggs and they came out PERFECTLY! Not everybody does poached eggs correctly, but they nailed it. Only one toilet for the entire restaurant, but it was clean. I've heard this place can get busy, and we arrived on a Saturday around 10am. We waited around 20-25 min. The area around is nice for a walk, so no big deal! Parking can be a bit tight. The inside is standard, nice bathrooms! We did go as a party of two to split the cinnamon roll, which I think was a bit much... would recommend at least 4 for it and take it home to be warmed. The flavor was good but not a must-try. Our server was amazing! She was attentive, sweet, and really helpful. The BBB (21 I think on the menu) was amazing. Great flavor and size, and pretty filling! Food was marginal. I had the chicken fried steak and the gravy was overly thick and not for a flavorful. The biggest issue I had today was the service. I ordered chicken fried steak and she asked me how I would like my eggs I said poached she asked me what kind of toast I would like I said English muffin when I got my food, I had eggs over easy and sourdough toast. She never checked on us during our stay, we had to call her back two or three times to get coffee refills. She was inside more than outside and we sat outside. She tried to serve me my check when we were still eating. I asked her if I could finish my meal before I paid for it and then she disappeared for about 15 minutes. Came here for brunch. It is a very popular place, so be sure to put your name on the list via the ipad in the restaurant, especially if it is saturday or sunday. There is a parking lot behind the build as well as street parking. The food was very yummy. The bread that they give with the butter is delicious. We both got skillets, which were equally yummy. We saw in their display case their cinnamon rolls, which looked amazing and huge, but sadly we didn't get one (Next time!). Noise level is average, especially when all the tables are filled. I have seen this place over the months and it's VERY popular on the weekends, so we opted to go on the weekday. About a 20 minute wait. Sat down, waiter came up with a much needed pot of coffee. Ordered food with only minor changes. Now to the food. I'll say first, we were pleasantly pleased with the food. But there's some differences. The corned beef appeared to be minus any nitrates and you can taste it. But it was still absolutely delicious with what appeared to be pieces of shaved corned beef. My half order of chicken fried steak is enormous. In fact, for our meals and two coffees, we were stuffed! The diner is your usual diner crowd, several compact tables dotted around the area that look cozy and comfortable. The diners are generally too busy eating to make it noisy. I was shocked to come at 8am on a Sunday and have no wait. The cornbread and marionberry butter is such a nice start to the meal. My dad and I both got Benedict's and all of the ingredients tasted sooo fresh. We really enjoyed our visit. The service was fast and friendly. My beer cheese Benedict was on a pretzel roll with pastrami and it was soooo flavorful. I really enjoyed it and am still thinking about it! My dad has the triple b and he loved his as well. This is the best chicken fried steak in the land and I might just make a website to declare this. Walk in...and you are greeted by the most giant cinnamon roll ever. It's meant for Sasquatch and you need a few friends to eat it. PRO TIP: take it home and don't even try to eat it there. Before those arrived, we were served the infamous cornbread with marionberry butter. The cornbread was stale, and the butter was lackluster. My boyfriend thought the fried chicken and biscuit were "really good." If my Benedict had not been served room temperature, it would have been really good too.
