    Club sandwich...perfection.

First time in and fell in love. Small menu and everything is made with love. We started with the fried polenta...I am still dreaming about it...try it!!! The staff was family kind of friendly and feel like new friends. Met the chef and owner and this is her baby. Loves what she is doing and loves her staff and customers. Can't wait to try the brunch and will be back for the hubby's birthday.

The Quincy - Signature Entree: Smoked Pork Chop with Apple whiskey chutney

My previous review of The Quincy landed somewhere in the middle, which made Shelby's response stand out even more. She didn't just leave a quick public reply and move on. Shelby followed up with me directly via email, offered a sincere apology, and invited us back with a credit toward a future meal. A small business owner who genuinely listens to feedback and responds with that level of care and respect is something special. That alone made me want to give The Quincy another try. I'm very glad we did. We returned tonight and the experience was fantastic - honestly better than fantastic. The service was attentive from the moment we walked in. The dining room had that perfect Friday night energy: lively but comfortable. People were enjoying conversations and good food without the room ever feeling loud or chaotic. With our 5:00 pm reservation, everything felt smooth, relaxed, and welcoming. One thing that has always intrigued me about The Quincy is their rotating specials. They consistently offer creative options alongside a strong core menu. I tried one of the margarita specials and it was an absolute hit. If you're looking for a dependable menu favorite, I still highly recommend the white fish. This time I ordered the Mediterranean stuffed chicken and it was truly one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The vegetables were roasted perfectly, and the chicken was packed with flavor while still feeling balanced and fresh. My husband is a notoriously picky eater (tomatoes and spinach are usually a hard no), and even he was eyeing my plate and asking for a bite. My biggest takeaway now is this: yes, this is a well-run restaurant - but that's actually the least interesting part about it (and I mean that as the highest compliment). This time, the food felt thoughtfully prepared, the atmosphere is warm, and the owner clearly cares about feedback and community. That combination is rare. We're already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for having us back!

It wasn't until we arrived that they informed us they had cancelled our reservations because they originally accepted us to be placed at the bar but didn't know we bought a baby with us. We had been notified at 7:58 PM by phone/cancelled email but at that time we had already arrived by 8pm. So as you can see even if we had checked our notification, it's too late now. If they would've just not allowed an 8pm reservation on the site this all would've been avoided, or be accommodate us to quickly dine in since we were the only customers especially for our troubles and the misunderstanding over reservations, it would've been more kind of them. In the future, notify sooner or take down the option of taking in customers at 8pm. Or just be kindly accommodating to customers who went through some trouble to arrive.

We were out celebrating my buddy's birthday today, and started out next door for some smokes and drinks. I had a plan for some choices for his bday dinner, and he opted with Ms. Jane's inside BJ's Casino. First off... this place is very elegant with a fine dining experience. Secondly, Cassandra was absolutely superb!! We all thoroughly had an amazing experience, from the drinks, appetizers, to our entrees, and the service. The Lavender Martini was top notch, and we also ordered the White Mojito. That mojito was crisp and refreshing! Two spectacular cocktails. As for our meals, undeniably unbelievable!! I ordered the 12oz. Ribeye, with Garlic Potatoes and crisp Broccolini. So crisp and a unique almost vinaigrette flavoring, with a subtle spice. As a side, we ordered the Thousand Layer Potato. My first time ever having this, but seen how it was made on a video. Simply divine. My wife ordered the Braised Bison over Polenta, with some Carrots. This is the tastiest Bison we've ever had!! We finished the evening with a Dubai Chocolate Fudge Sunday, and Cassandra gave us each a spoon to share in this decadence. Needless to say, my buddy had an incredible day of celebration! Thank you for this wonderful experience! As always, Enjoy & Happy Birthday, Wazowski!

Turns out it's the former, at least in atmosphere. The service was genuinely lovely from start to finish. The host, server, and table assistants were warm and attentive. No notes there. We went with the ribeye prix fixe, which felt like the obvious call given that Ms. Jane's has built its reputation around it. The menu included a salad, two ribeyes with mashed potatoes and broccoli, and dessert for $150 plus wine. The salad was beautiful and delicious. It just could've used some cheese, and I will die on that hill. The mashed potatoes were legitimately outstanding and nearly redeemed the entire evening on their own. The broccoli was fine. Broccoli is always just fine. Then there were the ribeyes. They were enormous, beautifully presented, and unfortunately not much else. Both cuts had an excessive amount of fat and lacked the depth of flavor you'd expect from a restaurant that's staked its identity on this one dish. We make better steaks at home, which is not something you want to be thinking about after dropping $150 before wine. Dessert closed things out on a high note. A chocolate and vanilla mousse topped with genuinely delicate whipped cream. In the moment we told ourselves we'd come back and try something else. A few days of reflection later, that enthusiasm cooled but it didn't disappear entirely. The service was too good, the mashed potatoes too memorable, and the mousse too solid to write the place off completely. Ms. Jane's clearly has something going on. We just hope the ribeye isn't the thing they're most proud of.

My wife had the burger which was decent, and I had the rockfish bowl which came with smoked rockfish (delicious) complemented by kale, sweet potatoes, fluffy eggs, chives, and more. Healthy and good. What I love about the menu items here is that they offer very nutrient dense foods. I love their use of colors and vegetables in their dishes. Ambiance is a casual setting. You go to the counter and order food, pick up a bucket with a number on it, and they bring it to you. You find a seat outside by the water or in the restaurant. And you just enjoy the beautiful scenes. Service is spectacular. Very nice and they come and check on you regularly. Parking is relatively easy (there's a parking lot). We arrived around 11am on a Sunday and it was starting to fill up. Bathroom is cleaning meaning the kitchen is clean! This is on my list of places I'd come back to for sure.

Our table got some grilled oysters, Dungeness crab, seafood chowder, sides of bread (+$5) and sides of crispy potatoes (~$5) Their chowder definitely isn't the chowder we were expecting despite all the good reviews people left about their chowder. As you can see in the picture, the chowder is very watery. Not thick not creamy. They also added spring onions, corns, and carrots etc. Decent amount of clams in it so it had some good seafood umami profile to it. But maybe call it a corn chowder or seafood soup, not chowder. Grilled oysters were great, butter and other seasoning, grilled, makes it smoky and buttery. Dungeness crab has almost taste like those steamed crab you can get from the store. Ok but nothing special. However, their expo is quite loud. I can hear them when we first arrived ti indoor seating area, lining up to order and even at our table. They should know that an open kitchen = exposed + outdoor kitchen. Every thing you say or do can be observed by patrons and it will affect their experience.
