I am from Arkansas/Tennessee so maybe I have high expectations of BBQ. But this has got to be the worse BBQ joint I've been too and I've been to a lot! This so called brisket looks like and taste like a pot roast not even joking its so dang dry. Spent $27 for this sandwiches and a few sides with no drink. I'd recommend going some place else for that kind of money to the kind of product they are pushing out.

    Here for the bbq!!

We drove 30 mins for this spot and glad we did! What a gem! Brianna was our server and she was such a delight! She was attentive and helpful! I LOVED their bbq sauce, one of my favorites! Our favorite was the ribs, potato salad and chili! We look forward to come back for breakfast and even lunch items! They have such a variety which is great. They have a clean establishment and option to order at the counter to go as well. Loved it!

Here are the few sweet potato waffle fries I got for 4.75 instead of 3.75

Used to be good, now not worth the price! Oh and you know what they say, you always get f'ed in the drive through, well that is take out here! Paid roughly .45 cents per sweet popato waffle fries and onion rings, fries were limp and greasy, and all was cold. Oh and don't believe the menue on the web site, worst 40+ dollars I ever spent for regular burgers.

Food was great, the meat fell off the bones and the BBQ sauce is amazing. I would definitely come back for more! We had great service from Brianna and the ambiance was very chuck wagon! Personal touches from the owners throughout. I definitely want to try breakfast here as well.

Our first (of many) stops at this hidden gem! Here for two years and finally stopped for breakfast. Place was empty (surprisingly as good as the food is). We sat down and ate in as a family and ordered lots of different foods. Pancakes/ eggs / corned beef / bacon were amazing. As a corned beef "expert" the corned beef here was quite honestly- the best I have had, and I eat homemade corned beef hash each outing- all over the world - this place has some of the best. Even the ice tea was amazing. Being stationed here in the area - we will be regulars now. Our two cents? Give it a try !!!

Food 3 Service 4 Atmosphere 2.5 The ribs here are a good 3.5-4. I really enjoyed them. The potato salad was made in house and has a fair amount of dill but it's very good. Their sauce is also good. I would go back for the ribs or to try a burger or sandwich. They also had fried okra on the menu that I did not get to order. But the brisket is a travesty! That an animal gave its life for what they call brisket is unforgivable. Brisket is the king of BBQ for a reason. Slow and low smoked to perfection this cut of beef is then supposed to be sliced across the grain. A showcase of crust, smoke ring , and savory meaty tenderness. It can be like it is sent from the heavens. And then there is the brisket at Jim Bob's Chuck Wagon, a sloppy pile of pulled and chopped grey meat that could be better if it was chuck. If they are going to do this to the best cut of the cow for bbq, they should take it off the menu. Plus it is really pricey( as bbq has to be). I did not enjoy the baked beans... but my dad did so, that is fine. The people that work there are awesome. Very friendly. So I will probably go back again, I just know to stay away from the brisket. Update: Cheryl at Jim Bob's messaged me and said I might not have been told about the sliced brisket they have when I was ordering. They do two types, sliced and a chopped. To be fair to the person taking my order, I was trying figure out how to add brisket to a rack of ribs meal. I was being a nice but high maintenance customer. I also should state that I don't mind bbq being expensive. The cuts of meat are pricey and they take a lot of people hours to prepare. But it needs to be worth it. I will go back and try the sliced brisket and the fried okra. I like that they reached out to me and were so nice.

This hamburger was so good! So much flavor and melted in your mouth.

Food was real good, moist and fresh, great bbq sauce and their sides were perfect. Staff was quick, friendly, funny and clearly enjoys working for the owners. The Sour Cream Standoff!…read more I came with my best friend and from the start the energy felt off. She ordered chili cheese fries and asked for a side of sour cream, something I have witnessed her successfully order there before. The server immediately responded with attitude, saying they do not have sour cream. My friend calmly explained she has gotten it before, however the server remained firm and did not offer to check with the kitchen. When the food arrived, there was no sour cream so I politely asked if she had checked with the kitchen. She replied, "We don't have sour cream lady" and walked away without clarifying whether she had actually asked. When she returned, I said I was not trying to be confrontational, just genuinely curious if she had confirmed with the kitchen. She admitted she had not asked because she "knew they did not have any" At that point I asked if she could please just humor me and double check since it would take a few seconds while picking up food. Five minutes later a woman approached the table in full defensive mode and asked, "Are you the one asking for sour cream?" She identified herself as the owner and was immediately combative. The entire restaurant went quiet. It was wildly uncomfortable. She explained that sometimes they did have it but they do not right now. The issue was never about sour cream. It was about the attitude and unprofessional behavior of staff and owner, as well as escalation over something that could have been resolved in a few seconds. Beyond that, the overall experience did not improve. The restaurant felt unclean, the bathrooms were rough, and the food did not make up for the tension. It is one thing to run out of an item. It is another thing entirely to turn a simple question into a public confrontation. Disappointing across the board.

Perfect balance of meat and fat and perfectly crispy and yummy bbq sauce. $8 Brisket sandwich. 2 this could have been a 5 star had there been bbq sauce on it. It was forgotten. I'd have asked for some but after the food was dropped off no one from the kitchen or bbq place was seen again. $18 Pork ribs. 1 . I had such high hopes for this. In the pics they look so good. But for $26 I expected more than 5 small ribs. The sides. The Mac n cheese was pretty good. I'd give it a solid 3 . The waffle rides were also fresh and crispy with a bit of smoke flavor. 5 Service. Also going with 1 . I don't expect to be waited on hand and foot. But it would have been nice for someone to just be out front to answer questions. Give me some extra sauce etc. I did wait st the podium for about 5 minutes before poking my head into the kitchen so I could place my Order. I didn't want to do the same for sauce. We were there 40 minutes. In that time I saw the guy twice. Taking my order and dropping off my food. I'd go back again before they close. I'd stick with The burnt ends.

Let me tell you about my server, the absolute legend who conquered his two-pack-a-day habit through the revolutionary "Brisket Smoke Immersion Protocol." This hero of modern medicine discovered that 60 minutes of face-time with oak-smoked brisket vapors carries the same satisfaction as 47 cigarettes, but with the added benefit of making your hair smell like victory. "The trick," he'll tell you while delivering a plate of burnt ends, "is to position yourself exactly 7.3 inches from the top rack, where the smoke density hits that sweet spot between 'spiritual awakening' and 'temporary meat blindness.'" He tracked his progress in a leather-bound journal that's now permanently infused with smoky goodness. Day 1 entry: "Visibility limited, meat particles adhering to eyebrows." Day 15: "Have begun to communicate telepathically with the brisket. It speaks of great wisdom." Day 30: "I am become smoke, destroyer of cravings." The restaurant had to install a special timer just for these sessions. They call it the "Meat Meditation Chamber," and there's now a waiting list of people trying to kick various habits through strategic smoke exposure. One guy supposedly gave up energy drinks by huffing pulled pork vapors for three weeks straight. The best part? While sharing his journey to smoke-based enlightenment, he'll serve you the most transcendent BBQ this side of the astral plane. The brisket doesn't just fall apart--it voluntarily deconstructs itself out of respect for your taste buds. The ribs have converted more vegetarians than a bacon-scented hypnosis podcast. Five stars. Would absolutely sit through another 45-minute explanation of how the smoke molecules restructured his DNA while demolishing a plate of burnt ends again. Just don't ask about the time he accidentally fell asleep in there and woke up speaking fluent Memphis-style BBQ. P.S. They're thinking about bottling the smoke as a cologne. There's already a pre-order list.
