In our opinion, they have the best smash burgers around, and they are consistently delicious every single time we go. Sean always gets the Bleu Cheese Smash with tots, while I rotate between the Deluxe Smash with fries and the Chicken Caesar Wrap. I honestly love both, so I can never decide which one I want--which is why I just rotate! We also really love the taproom side and all of the beer options they have. One of our favorites is the Juice Tornado #28, which is a hazy IPA, and I especially love trying their different sours. They're one of the few places we go that consistently has sour beers, so that's a big bonus for me! We come here at least once a month, and we've also had the chance to attend the Zane Lamprey show here two years in a row, which was always a total blast. The very first time, the owner was our server and the service was actually pretty good. The food was mediocre, but we figured we'd come back and give it another shot. Unfortunately, that first experience has been the exception, not the rule. We are huge wing fans and so naturally we ordered the wings. They were freezer burnt and they were the full wing the flat and the drum hooked together. We were not a fan of them. We've stopped in just for a couple of beers while waiting for our dog to get groomed next door, and even those visits have been uncomfortable. We've dealt with bartenders who were rude and completely unfriendly, and servers who seem to forget you're even there. We came here for Valentine's Day two years ago with a reservation, expecting a nice, romantic dinner. Instead, it was an absolute disaster. The staff looked completely overwhelmed, nobody seemed to know what was going on, our expense steaks were over cooked badly, we were ignored for long stretches, never offered refills, and the entire dinner was a huge disappointment. We genuinely try to support local businesses, which is why we kept coming back and giving this place another chance. But after six or so visits and multiple disappointing experiences, we're done.
