First time visiting this food truck in West Oly. My wife is from Kansas City and I'm from Texas...so we have very developed and particular BBQ palates! Ambiance - it's a food tuck in a parking lot...so it is what it is. But it seems to stay organized and clean and there are two picnic tables with benches if you need a place to sit down...mind you, they are uncovered, so probably only work on a clear day. Service - friendly, prompt and efficient. The use a pager system like most food trucks to keep orders in order. Food - as far as the BBQ... overall its quite good! Unfortunately they were out of a lot of the things we came to try and typically use to judge one BBQ against another. But it was late in the day on a Saturday and good BBQ should sell out daily...if you are doing things right. So no foul there...if anyone is at fault it was us. This all said, I got a rack of ribs and my wife got 1/4 lb. pulled pork. We split some mac & cheese. The ribs had great smoke and an excellent char to them. Meet fell of the bone. Average moisture/dryness with above average and yummy flavor! The pulled pork had very good flavor and remained very moist! Mac & Cheese was average but good...mild cheese flavor (which I prefer over sharp cheeses), but I'm a hard customer as I really like West Texas style mac & cheese in which they had some Hatch chilis to the dish (so damn good!). The things we didn't get to try was obviously their brisket as well as their brisket chili - two things I always use as my benchmark tests...so next time for sure! As to their BBQ sauce itself, we got one style...honestly, I didn't even ask if they had various flavors of sauces (mild/spicy/honey/etc). Both my wife and I really enjoyed the sauce!! Tinge of vinegar with a subtle spicy bite that lingers on the tongue afterwards...definitely good!! Overall very pleased with Bigfoot BBQ! Keep up the great work gentlemen! My wife and I just tried out this place today. We had the brisket plate with Mac and cheese and beans. We also added a few ribs. Everything was tasted fresh, the brisket and ribs were smoked nicely, not a bit dry. The sides were better than most bbq joints around Thurston county. There was a line of about six or seven people at 12 PM. The line moved smoothly and the crew seemed very organized in their preparation and serving. First time here and I tried the Turkey Melt and the Banana Pudding-- holy cow! The turkey was juicy and had great flavor. I always worry about smoked meats being dried out- nope not here!The aioli they put on it is so good! The service was amazing! Super cool dude took our order and was just a really nice guy. Best BBQ I've had in Olympia, by a pretty good measure. Ribs were perfect. Bite off the bone, not fall off the bone. Brisket was juicy and full of flavor. Sauce is excellent, very well balanced. Best beans also. I plan on eating my way through their entire menu, as nothing has come up short yet. Great service, with the buzzers they give you. Lots better than shouting out names. read more

Wverything I've eaten here has been absolutely delicious. The brisket, ribs, smoked turkey, crispy chicken sandwich, potato salad, Mac n cheese (my favorite) bbq beans and banana pudding have all been fabulous! I'm so excited they are moving to west Olympia. Their food was worth the trip from Kamilche (Shelton) to Rochester. Now it will be handier in West Oly too. read more

My wife and I ordered the Turkey Melt which was absolutely delicious! The turkey was so moist and flavorful. The aioli gave the sandwich a nice tang along with the pickled peppers providing a nice bite. The banana pudding is true banana pudding. You can tell everything is homemade. To top off the experience, the guys working the truck were super friendly and just offered great customer service. We will be coming back! read more

The banana pudding is addictive. The macaroni & cheese was pretty tasty but a little on the drier side and I tend to lean towards a creamer preference. The food truck is in an obvious and easy to spot location. Ample parking is available. The service was friendly. I've only been once and didn't eat any of the meat (I will next time and I'll update the review) but I've grabbed a banana pudding a couple of times and will definitely be getting it again. read more

Iff your a fan of really good barbeque, pulled pork or brisket check out Bigfoot Barbeque. They have a trailer parked next to Country Corner Market in Rochester. These guys make some fantastic barbeque. They also make the best sandwiches around. My personal favorite is their Reuben sandwich the best I've had. Wednesday special is breaded chicken breast sandwich. Thursday special is their pulled pork. If you're a fan of brisket, and who isn't, then stop by Saturday for some really great brisket. These guys know what they are doing. Best food in the area bar none. read more

Oh my goodness, their barbecue is amazing!! I'm from Texas, so I believe I know a thing or two about good barbecue, and this is excellent! We got the ribs, brisket and a pulled pork sandwich. The ribs and brisket tasted like they came straight from Texas! The ribs were perfectly seasoned and falling off the bone. The brisket was melt in your mouth tender and well seasoned. The pulled pork was just a little too spicy for me, but still good. I have to say that I was a bit disappointed in the size of the potato salad compared to the price. We unfortunately didn't get dessert, but that's a certainty for next time! I believe they served baked potatoes at one time, I wish they would bring those back. The guys that manage and cook are super friendly and knowledgeable. They do have some picnic tables, but it's outside dining or to go.
