Believe the hype! I have driven past this truck hundreds of times and finally stopped in - wow is all I can say. After a quick chat with the guy working I decided on the burrito super with Al pastor. He said the carnitas was good but the pastor was his fav. It was a delicious, delicious burrito. The avocado was ripe and perfect, there wasn't too much sour cream and the cheese was melty and perfect. It was big enough to save some for breakfast the next day - threw an egg on it and - boom - delicious. They're now open sundays and I'm excited to go through the rest of the menu. read more

First off, what is yelp? Is this not a fill out *your* opinion about the food/svc/experience. I'm discouraged by people that put others down on yelp, for that person stating their individual experience. You were not there, therefore you should not comment on the other individuals experience. Everyone is human, so all humans will most likely have a different experience. I get that this is a small local food truck, but small, not well known, what have you, I should still be able to voice my opinion about the service, the food etc. Based on my experience today I'm giving this a 3 star average review. 1st star goes for "ok" customer service, meaning not good, not bad, nothing went wrong in terms of ordering and picking up my order. 2nd star is for affordability, no hidden *cc* fees like other mexican food trucks have down in Olympia/Lacey areas. 3rd star is for average, not stellar/bad food. I have to admit, based on the fellow below me and another individual's high rec, I decided to drive back. This was after having driving out in the rain on a stormy sunday night after being misled by incorrect hours on here which is like I said input by other yelpers input. I was disappointed in the overall flavors. The rice was so soft to the point of disintegrating on contact, but beyond that it lacked really any flavor. You could say it's mild but when I think of mexican rice, it has a nice taste and this one didn't really have any. The carne asada also lacked flavor as well. The only part of the burrito that had any flavor was the salsa which there wasn't too much of dispersed throughout the burrito. I'm not saying this is a bad joint, but I don't want to feel pressured by others to rave about something that wasn't the same for me. I'mma do these guys at Fiesta Taco justice because it's too bad they received a negative review for not being open. Hopefully that negative review by J O can be changed if he/she gives 'em another chance. This is my new spot for tacos! I have absolutely no shame going to this place every day! I don't care what these people say or think when they see me pull up. I've been getting the same fat boy 6 tacos plate everytime! I can't say much for the other menu items because I've been getting the same thing over and over. It's been 4 days in a row! Would've been 5 if they were open on a Sunday. I recommend that you get yourself some crispy tacos with Al Pastor meat (see photos)! They are crunchy! Chewy with melty cheese! Delicious! Don't forget the red hot sauce! It gives a little bit of heat but it doesn't overwhelm the flavors! I also get the traditional tacos of course with Al Pastor meat. Same flavor but instead of crunchy tacos it's the soft tortilla tacos. Those flavors with a little bit of pineapple chunks stuffed inside the tacos just works so well! They do ask to call ahead so that you aren't waiting. I say about 10mins is a good time to call 'em and to give yourself the time those tacos goes into your mouth. Price is very reasonable! I can't believe how much I love this place. I've only lived in Oly for a bit and when I first moved here I couldn't believe what people would recommend to me when I asked for good tacos. Then I saw this truck by my work and decided to give it a shot for lunch one day and it's truly some of the best tacos I've had in my life. I can't even try to guess how many times I've gone. I've tried all different times of tacos, I love the marinated pork the best, burritos, mulitas, and they even have enchiladas now which is a total game changer. Their rice is even amazing, and their tortillas are sooooo yummy. They also have incredible service. I generally go with coworkers or people who have a lot of special instructions and they've never. and I mean never, screwed an order to my knowledge.
