    Their iced white chocolate mocha

We have been wanting to enjoy things from here but haven't been impressed. The energy drinks taste like straight syrup. I have tried ordering an iced americano with caramel and cream and it always tastes off... so today I ordered a white chocolate mocha frim their menu thinking they couldn't mess it up. Well after spending $7 it came out and was the color of chocolate milk and tasted horrible. My husband tasted it and said oh nope and took it back to get something else... he got an energy drink and it was like drinking syrup... so I didnt finish it either. Staff has messed up our ordered on multiple occasions... and seem to be syrup heavy. I think they would benefit from more training. We have gift cards that we were given for Christmas... so I keep hoping I'll find something I'll like.

Good strong black coffee.. extra hot she even double cupped. Not a local, when traveling always try out the local flare. I can't speak for the menu aside from black coffee which I'll give 5 stars!

The only reason why I was here was because Starbucks was closed. The drink I ordered was okay, all I tasted was sugar.

Over priced. Drinks taste ok but way to expensive for me. Staff was friendly. Other places in town are better and cost less.

First of all, you must realize there's tons of coffee places in Washington, especially in Yelm I can count about 9 places that sell coffee on the main Street. I'm not even counting the half dozen gas stations either . Most of them are little drive-thru structures. This one is a brick and mortar in town. And unfortunately people are lazy and like to drive through and get their beverages. So that's sort of a negative for Kravins. You need to make that place a coffee house. Someone is willing to get out of their car for. The former business was really adorable. They had some really cute unique vintage stuff in there shop. They had a business that did Do-It-Yourself terrariums in the back. It was very unique and it was sad that they didn't make it due to lack of support of this town. The rule of thumb is when you take over a business you need to make it better and more interesting . I went in the other day, because I heard they had soup there a while back. They no longer sell soup. So that's strike one. Their baked goods looked like they had bought them from the grocery store instead of either sourcing them from someone unique or baking them themselves. There are plenty of bakers that are independent in this town that you could source some really amazing baked goods from if you don't want to do it yourself. You need something like that to bring people in. I don't know why you don't have a soup and salad bar that would take your business to the next level. The cute shop and vintage items are gone and have been replaced with boring gift store items. Tim's pharmacy has the most unique items and they're right across the street. Why are you trying to reinvent the wheel with some humdrum stuff? I'm giving you free advice if you want to make that business go. You have to make it shine and be so unique. Even the drinks have to be different. I purchased a small smoothie that cost me almost $8 and it wasn't good. It was extremely sweet and it had a strange taste to it. Based on that visit I would never come back and I wouldn't recommend you to anybody. You have a really nice shop there. You need to really bring it up to the next level. You need to serve some sort of soup and salad. Something unique. Forget the sandwiches. Those are everywhere or if you make sandwiches they have to be different. People are looking for something new. Also you want to make it a place people want to come and hang out. It's not charming anymore with the gift shop hanging there. Hopefully you fix it. Turn it into a little restaurant.

Honestly the strangest experience here. I asked the barista general questions about the teas (e.g…read more the difference between the bubble fizz drinks and other teas) and she just seemed bothered answering those questions. Which really should have been my sign to just leave. But anyways I ordered my drink and after paying I realized it comes with the popping bubbles (which I find disgusting), so I asked if I could change those to regular ones. Mind you the drink hasn't be started yet, and the girl tells me no because the cards already been ran so she can't charge me for the boba. However, as you can clearly see on the picture the bobas are the same price. I explained to the barista that I don't want extra or anything I just want to switch them and they're the same price. She lets me know that those are the ones they come with and to switch them would be an additional charge. Now i would love for the owner to somehow justify charging extra to change the type of bobas, when they are quite literally the same price on the menu.... I've tried to think of justifications for it and you really can't. So I guess it's just greed for 70 cents???? I don't know.. times are real tough out here.... So anyways I just had to drink from the top of the cup to try to avoid those nasty popping bobas. Was it good?? Not really, just kind of like soda mixed with a lot of syrup.

While I *am* a coffee enthusiast, I am not a coffee snob by any means. That being said, I don't like getting a milk based drink (eg. a latte) where you can't taste the espresso. That's not the case here! The espresso still has a rich and roasty flavour profile that isn't diminished by the milk. Woohoo! I'm looking forward to having this addition in Yelm. We ordered two sausage bagels sandwiches, an iced milky way and a hot white chocolate mocha. The coffee was good but the food was not. We went to bite into the sandwich and the egg was still frozen on both. Luckily we were going home so we had the ability to heat it up but we did have to wait. The coffee had good flavor and I would try another drink again but for the price of everything I didn't really feel like it was worth it. When ordering as well I asked the Barista about the flavor and which she preferred and she couldn't really give me a straight answer, maybe she didn't really know their products? I had never been there before so I was hoping for some guidance but was left a little empty.
