Today we decided to try a different coffee stand on our town so we went with Espresso Stop based on the reviews. We ordered two sausage bagels sandwiches, an iced milky way and a hot white chocolate mocha. The coffee was good but the food was not. We went to bite into the sandwich and the egg was still frozen on both. Luckily we were going home so we had the ability to heat it up but we did have to wait. The coffee had good flavor and I would try another drink again but for the price of everything I didn't really feel like it was worth it. When ordering as well I asked the Barista about the flavor and which she preferred and she couldn't really give me a straight answer, maybe she didn't really know their products? I had never been there before so I was hoping for some guidance but was left a little empty. read more

Every time I go through, my drinks are hit or miss. Sometimes I get really good drinks and sometimes they're horrible. Honestly though, the worst part is when I pay with a card, they take the card rather than give me the reader. This comes to the next part where the tip portion comes up and they ask me every time if I'd like to tip. This makes me feel obligated to tip higher than I'm comfortable. Not only that, I end up tipping for poor service purely based on peer pressure. A tip is based off experience, not peer pressure. I don't go back now due to the tipping pressure. read more

Definitely don't recommend got a bagel and cream cheese and they asked if I wanted it heated up I said yes assuming they would toast it... they microwaved it which is definitely a first, didn't even separate the slices. Then I ordered a coffee with oat milk and they gave me dairy milk. read more

I don't know how I haven't reviewed Espresso Stop yet we LOVE this place! We moved to Yelm and decided to try this place out one day. Since then we have been regulars! They have an amazing point system. Ten points is a free drink any size any type. Tuesdays are double point days. Friday is free shot friday. We have racked up so many free drinks. Everything we have gotten from here is delicious from the food, to the retros, to every coffee flavor! So delicious and very strong! We've never had a bad experience and every lady here is always so sweet and cheerful! read more

The ladies that work here are so sweet, and helpful. Some days after being home alone with my kids I need adult interaction, and they have been happy to oblige with a chat without making me feel like a crazy lady. On to the coffee! While I *am* a coffee enthusiast, I am not a coffee snob by any means. That being said, I don't like getting a milk based drink (eg. a latte) where you can't taste the espresso. That's not the case here! The espresso still has a rich and roasty flavour profile that isn't diminished by the milk. Woohoo! I'm looking forward to having this addition in Yelm. I really hate giving local businesses bad reviews. I really do. I was really wanting some coffee and all of my favorite spots in Yelm had long lines so I stopped at Espresso Stop. I tried them not too long after they opened and I wasn't impressed with the flavor but thought I'd give them another shot. Unfortunately I am here to report that I am not impressed at all. The coffee has no flavor. It tastes like I'm drinking hot watered down milk. There is an "off" taste to it as well. Off-putting.... I really hate to leave anything but glowing reviews and I always give places a few tries. However, with the combined subpar service, the coffee I did end up pouring out. Nothing about this location gave me the urge to give them a second shot when there is so many other places to get coffee. The staff must have been having a bad day and I try to keep in mind everywhere I go that these are people with JOBS and I don't know what they're going through, so when I didn't get a smile or an upbeat personality I took it in stride. It was my first visit and I asked for recommendations which honestly seemed to annoy the barista. I get it. I do. So I just picked something I was familiar with, and asked for it half sweet with almond milk. The coffee was so bad and horrifically sweet, I took three sips and then poured it out. For spending an insane amount on coffee to go you'd hope for a better experience when there is a coffee shop on every block in Yelm. There is a fit for everybody, and this place is just not a fit for me sadly. However, form your own opinion, give them a shot. They may be just your cup of tea! Or coffee in this case!!! read more

Oh my gosh! I am so excited this is in Yelm!!! They have such creamy espresso and even the decaf is Swiss Water processed so it's not chemical tasting! My favorite drink they have is the pumpkin spiced chai with some protein powder!! And they have cookie dough protein bars!! The best! Usually good but the goods always take forever. Slowest coffee stand in yelm. I can sit in line for 20 min or more, whereas gravity hardly takes any time at all and rhondas moves cars quickly. Id go to any other stand before here. Food and drinks are usually not bad though. read more
