Food here could be more fresh but overall for being one of the only buffet around, it's good.

I ate here a couple of minutes ago. The chicken had the texture of chewy squid, the broccoli tasted and looked like it was going bad and had yellow spots. The garlic bread was oozing grease and the inside looked and felt like mozzarella cheese. The waitress carried our cups in the same hand while carrying another customers cup, total cross contamination especially during covid. There is no lock on the bathroom door, the lobby had soggy food by the fountain. The customer service was bad, and the food is expensive and not worth it. I found 2 little pieces of food in my water as soon as i got it. There is no music, give you barely any napkins, and the food is mislabelled on multiple items. A lot of the pans were empty, and the shrimp seemed undercooked and chewy. The floors were disgusting and sticky and greasy. The fortune cookies tasted stale, like it had been there since covid. The apple pie tasted like nothing. They didn't fully wipe everything down either. The new chairs and tables look nice. Also the ice cream was good. I worked in restaurants and in all of them whatever food is not sold in the day, they throw it away and the next day it's all fresh food. not in this one. the meat they use for sweet and sour, general Tso Chicken and in fact, all the meat that is breaded or covered with somethin, is at least two days - or more - old you can tell by the texture and by the way it taste. even the shrimp is that way. the soup bowls always have a layer of something like soap in a way that if you pass your finger in the inside that thing is gonna come off. it's really gross. won't recommend it. read more

Since I moved up to central Washington from California I have been craving Chinese food, stopped there yesterday not expecting a whole lot but was surprised by the selection of food and while it wasn't the best, it was still pretty good. We went to Super China Buffet today May 30th, 2021 and when I went through the line to eat, half of the pans were empty. I took some noodles. When I complained to the waitress she said they were short staffed and were cooking as fast as possible. 15 minutes later they put more food out but by then there 30 or so people standing around waiting for it. I was seated way in the back corner so of course I could get any of it. When I complained to the man who was the cashier, he said "Oh well, sorry about that." But he still charged me $47.28 for three people even though I did not eat and my daughter basically only got dessert. Speaking for myself, I felt cheated, and I will never eat there again ! They are advertising that they are completely renovated and under new owner, but the man who was the cashier is the same man who said he owned the business 5 years ago and the wait staff were the same as well. read more

First of all, please take heed to the one star reviews. This place is terrible! By far the WORST buffet of any sort I've ever been to and I've been to many. The decor is old and dirty, they were cleaning, however, it's just old and dingy and falling apart. The food was NOT at proper temperatures. We did brave the Mongolian grill, but I didn't eat the food because it was dry and had no flavor. They also had spaghetti noodles instead of Chinese noodles for the Mongolian grill... Weird. The hot table food was not hot, it was more like room temp. When I asked about it one employee told me to put it in the microwave! Yes, they have a microwave sitting out on the counter! I asked for the manager and she told me that she had turned down the steam tables because the food was too hot earlier. She asked me to wait 5 min for the food to get hot again. What?? Really?? She said yes, just wait and it will be hot again. I told her she needed to throw it all away because it had been sitting out too long at the wrong temperature. I asked her if she knew about food temps. (I have a food handlers permit) and she didn't answer. Hmmm... I told her I wasn't going to eat the food so she didn't charge me or my husband. I'm attaching several pi tres so you can see how run down the place is. Check out how the food looks and watch for all the grease in the food trays. Oh and I didn't get a picture of what came out of the ice cream machine but it was warm and was bubbly, clearly spoiled. Also, I have never seen ads on fortune cookies before. I have been to this place once. The dishes were nearly all dirty, the table we were seated at was dirty even after being "cleaned", the wait staff actually do stand around and bad mouth the customers in Chinese (I don't speak much, but I know enough words to pick out several of the ones used and they were not kind). The food on the warming trays was almost universally old, most was not as warm as it should have been and had been out for so long that it was overly dry. The food is very bland, most of it tastes the same, and when something SHOULD be flavorful and have spice to it, the spice used is generic chili powder that is also old. All you get is one note hot-spice and not a well-balanced flavor. I make better at home. Which is what I'll do in the future as well. I hadn't expected a LOT from a Chinese buffet in Moses Lake, but I expected better than what they provided. Oh, and whatever you do.... Do NOT go near their restrooms. read more

I should have known something was wrong when I pulled into an empty parking lot, and it was. This is the worst Chinese buffet I have ever eaten at. My first bite of peeled shrimp dissolved in my mouth, the rest didn't taste good after that. I tried some broccoli and beef and the beef was mushy and bland. I bit into a mussel on half shell and it had a putrid flavor, I spit it out. I tried some mushrooms and they also had a unsavory flavor. The chicken on a stick was dry and chewy. Usually I stuff myself at buffets like this, but not this time. I had hard time finishing my plate but I did and left feeling very unsatisfied. Never again. read more

We like the hibachi grill at the buffet. I read the reviews and understand most of customers concerns however, we have never witnessed bugs, dried up food, or rude service. Although It is probably a good thing they do not serve raw fish at a buffet. On one trip, I tried the hot and sour soup, and thought something wasn't right. There was a strange smell. Went here for lunch yesterday while I was in ML looking at places apartments. I was impressed with the design of the restaurant. I liked how the food was arranged in a circle rather than standard rows. A lot of the food was either overdone or didn't taste like anything. Pretty much the standard Chinese buffet item, but there were a few exceptions. Squid. Fried bananas. Fresh cherries (well, they do grow them hereabouts and they are in season - I doubt they'd have them in December....) The mussels were in an odd blackish liquid but were fat and tasty. The ice cream was reasonable - not the crystalline watery stuff served in a lot of buffets. They had several kinds of soup but oddly, while I was there, no soup bowls were available. I could barely eat half of what I served myself. I tried t again with a different plate of food and again my tastebuds were not enjoying it. I decided to just go for the ice cream which is what I always used to eat at the end of my visit and when I scooped up a bit to eat it tasted spoiled. This particular Super China Buffet (there are two in town) has a variety of foods, from Sweet and Sour pork to honey glazed shrimp with walnuts to jello and pudding at the dessert section of the buffet. I was skeptical about going here, but the people I was with really wanted to go. The selection was ok, but the quality of food was lack luster. It was chaotic in there with kids running around with no manners. The lady who restocks the food would lightly bump the cart into people to get you to move. Panda Express is cheaper and pretty much a 5 star restaurant compared to this place. I barely had seconds I was so worried how my body would digest the food. Also, the fried rice was hard. Rice is so simple to cook yet here it was cooked poorly. I also noticed 90% off the "clean dishes" still had food residue on them. It was just really gross. The atmosphere was hard to enjoy. A lot of rude people who don't have manners. Also, when we were getting seated are table was incredibly dirty. You could see oily greasy steaks of food. They only wiped it off with a wet rag. Desperate for Chinese-American cuisine I decided to visit this cookie cutter type of restaurant. Likely similar to the last 20 I've gone to. Boy was I wrong; first thought walking in are the seats. Cracked/warped/gross no matter where they seat you. This should've been an indicator to leave, but I was craving it so bad I wanted to go through with it. I quickly found out this was the wrong decision. In some warmers there was mixed product. Some warmers were cold, and I didn't find a protein that I REALLY liked.
