My family brought our dog here for the outdoor seating. The staff was very friendly to us and our dog and even offered some dog treats. When our order was ready the server also offered a bucket of water for my dog. The food was exactly what you'd expect from a little small town drive thru, with the added bonus of a "secret sauce" relish. The fries were crispy, and to top it off, it wasn't super expensive. The service was quick, and it's a nostalgic place to eat in a town that my husband and I grew up in. Its been open since our parents were in school in the 60's. The one thing I thought was "off putting" was a girl (who was very sweet) came out of the back door and served a car thst had parked away from us, who was only wearing a purple bra and leggings? Then as she walked away from the vehicle, she proceeded to hit her vape pen?? I feel like this really sets a bad tone for this restaurant thst has served this community for a lot of years. Extremely disappointed with my families experience at Dusty's In-N-out tonight. After hours of travel in the car we called to place an order, upon the lady answering there was extremely loud music. I asked the woman to please turn the music down so I could place my order, she repeatedly said no there is no music playing. I then placed one order of our dinner, the music then got much louder. I asked one more time can you please turn it down, she then yelled into the phone very loudly "THERE IS NO MUSIC ON." Needless to say we did NOT finish our order and hung up. This place is absolutely ridiculous. First it takes forever to get your food, which completely defeats the purpose of the name "in-n-out." Second, the food is not even worth the wait. Food is bland, disgusting and literally a bunch of frozen patties. Save your money and go across the street to Burger King. Thirdly, like most of the other reviews have stated, they over charge you. The prices that they have posted on their menu are incorrect and not what they are charging. Which last I checked is false advertising. OK well I got the #4 combo which was a double bacon cheese burger with fries. The fries were crinkle fries and they weren't bad and this little burger tasted pretty good, I noticed they used like fry sauce with onions and lettuce only on their burger with cheese and bacon. The burger was cooked to perfection and it wasn't like a monster burger, this little burger tasted Ike something you'd make at home and at times that's what I want instead of a chain burger place. Seems they have new owners. They prices have skyrocketed and the quality has fallen. While this was a good cheap burger place now it's expensive and now the hamburger patties have fillers in them. Wow! Small Drive n Eat with a big heart for their food and customers. My husband ordered a double cheeseburger, garlic fries and a chocolate/banana milkshake. He said the burger was excellent and I can attest to the fries and the milkshakes appeal! Dusty's is in the middle of 3 major fast-food chains and they were consistently busy while we dined on their outdoor patio. Il start saying a 4 star because the deep fried mushrooms batter tasted like it was for something sweet like a deep fried mushroom, other than that the food filled me up. A family owned business surrounded by corporate businesses, gotta love the competition surrounding this place you gotta be on your A-game when Burger King, Taco Bell and McDonald's is around, there are not too many spots like this that is next to the corporate chanson so support your local businesses ppl! . I really hate giving small mom and pop type restaurants a bad review since it can be so hard to compete against Taco Bell and McDonald's nearby. That being said the food was intensely disappointing. The burger I got had a rubber like "meat" that did not taste like beef. It tasted like it had no seasoning. The fries had no salt and the soda cup does not fit in a standard cup holder. Food was way overpriced for what it is. If they want to survive they need to grill up real beef, use real cheese and find a better cup supplier. Save your Monday and eat elsewhere. read more

Double check your order.. Twice now I have placed an order for chicken strips and twice got fish instead. Twice I didn't catch this mistake on their part until I got to George. As much as I dislike fish I ate it anyways. Upon returning for food I pointed out to please check that I am getting chicken... yes only to get fish a second time. Food is OK but definitely not worth the price. I ordered a double bacon burger, small fries , med drink and small chocolate malt. The total came to 16.00 before tip! The hamburger was from some cheap food service company as were the fries. The drink was 3/4 full of ice and the chocolate malt tasted more like vanilla malt. Dropped by for lunch on a Saturday while spending a weekend in Ephrata for work. Ordered the double meat burger with cheese, curly fries and a strawberry shake. Burger was very good. Curly fries were a bit salty for my taste, but they were fresh and crispy. The shake was awesome, extremely thick with a lump of ice cream at the bottom! You betcha! There's that lovely old myth that we all seem to enjoy - the one about happening upon some great little hole-in-the-wall eatery that you never heard of, in the middle of nowhere, that has great food and smiling owners and prices straight out of the 50s. Truth is, those places used to be out there but seldom are, anymore. Now, in the recessionary times we inhabit, restaurants which expect to make it have to economize. Fact of Life. The difference is going to the the same as it always was: what do you DO with your food-service materials and how clever are you at making stuff Taste Good. Yeah, Dusty's burgers are just food service patties, quite likely frozen and thawed, but the other ingredients are absolutely fresh, great quality, nicely prepared, and presented with sauces they make there that are GREAT compliments to the sandwiches. The fries are crisp outside and tender inside, the buns are even good(!!), and the seasonings are near-perfect. And the shakes are to freakin' DIE FOR. You CANNOT suck this shake through a straw and, in my book, that's a fine shake. And, yeah, they DO take a while to make the stuff - which means they're making it FRESH, as you order it. I watched. They do. If I ate this stuff in Seattle, I might just say, "Well, it's good, but I can do better down the street." In Ephrata, expecting nothing, Dusty's was a wonderful, tasty surprise. read more
