First time here in Yakima on a business work trip. The evening was cool so I was craving for a hot bowl of soup and came across this place. I thought at first that they are more of a Dimsum place but there really more like Asian fusion and was surprised to see they serve pho. When I looked at the menu, the oxtail pho caught my attention coz I'm a sucker for oxtail ( as a Filipino, we have an oxtail dish called kare-kare that I absolutely love). What a surprise!! The oxtail pho is probably one of the best oxtail pho I've had and this is me coming from Southern CA and have tried great pho in Westminster. It was homey and just plain DELISH!! I am not kidding but you just have to come here to try for yourself. I also ordered the roasted pork belly and it was out of bounds. It was tender, well seasoned with salt and five spice and the skin was crispy. Plus dipping it on that sweet sauce was a great touch. Please please include this in your list of best Pho place/best restaurants in Yakima. You won't be disappointed!! Service was also quick very professional!

The best Pho in town. All the food is very good. The dim sum is good. Plenty of food. Dim sum is made for two. The Pho bowls are big. The broth is very delicious. I had the ox tail pho and the ox tail meat just fell off the bone. The service was fast and very friendly. Family owned. I will be back again. If you're in Yakima you have to stop in here!

This is the same family that previously ran Pho King Crab. This place produces some of the best vermicelli bowls I have ever had their service. Here is friendly and top-notch, always on time. The ambience is very casual with lots of open space. You're almost guaranteed to find something here that will end up being your favorite.

    Oxtail Pho was delicious

The weather has gotten cooler and it's definitely pho season. I looked for a new pho spot because I'd been disappointed with the others. I found this place and figured I'd give it a try. the service was great. I ordered the oxtail pho and was told it was delicious. it was just that! the oxtails are MP (market price), which was about $10 more than the other pho varieties) but worth it. I ate until I was full and carried the leftovers for another meal.

Parking up front might be limited but glad to find spots around the block. Service is great. Combination pho: Great broth flavor, a little light on meat for the price. Duck taco: small salty piece of duck on a pasty taco. Would have been nicer on a steamed bun. Unfortunately we were too hungry to remember to take pictures :)

    Vegetable Pho w/ Tofu ;)

My my my, while many Vietnamese restaurants have come and gone unsuccessfully in the valley, the Ma has been stewing pho here locally for 10 years. The owners personally cook the menu, not hired hands. The bowls are huge, fresh vegetables & tofu. The price is cheaper than other local spots. Nice smooth cinnamon broth, not just saltwater. This new downtown location has a clean new vibe for some pipin' hot broth pho.

They have delicious chicken pho. The broth is rich and flavorful-highly recommend. I've never eaten inside, we've had take out only.

With lowered expectations, our meal was actually better than we anticipated. I asked to start with a bowl of wonton soup for me and my husband. Our dunce-like waitress should have told us that one large (at $7.50) is enough for almost four portions, vs. two smalls (at $4.95 each.) The soup was quite good -- plump, well-filled dumplings, tasty broth, slivers of pork. Great! Veggie egg rolls -- 5 to an order -- are small, almost tasteless fried spring rolls. The house special chow mein could use more vegetables, but there was a generous supply of chicken, barbecued pork (which looked good but lacked flavor) and shrimp. A comment about the staff: the fellow who mans the register is pleasant and helpful. The woman who runs the place (owner? manager?) could use a course in courtesy and diplomacy. And I already mentioned our insipid waitress. One last thing: hot tea tastes like Lipton. Don't bother.

I was very excited to try it because the pictures online looked good. The food presentation itself was decent, but the taste & quality was something out of a horror movie or something. Service was fine. Dishes, and silverware were also oddly extremely DIRTY and had weird built up residue on them. Pork tasted like wet dog or soggy towels. YUCK.

I payed and she literally ran out se my food on a table and ran back behind a closed door as I ran my card. $64 plus tip went straight in the trash when I got home. Lots of food, but all of it was absolutely horrible. Did combos since I had never been there , and a order of pan fried lo mein. The general tso and almond chicken im 99% sure were chicken nuggets from Costco. The Kirkland chicken chunks have a very distinct flavor i recognized through the general tso sauce from a bottle litteraly still in the shape of the spoon and dumped on top of the nuggets.. not even stirred. The almond chicken is chicken nuggets too, so that flavor along with whatever that gravy was.. it looks like Dijon mustard and had the texture of loose cheesecake. Horrible taste and texture. Mongolian beef was barely edible but you could tell just how poor quality the beef was , and it overall was a sloppy brown mess. Chicken subgum was ok no real flavor good or bad. Just something to fill your stomach. The pan fried noodles were a sloppy mushy mess. No flavor, almost no smell except from the way overcooked shrimp that the one bike I took tasted like what a dirty fish tank smells like. The noodles had the consistency of mashed potatoes. Nightmare texture to try to eat. I would have had to eat them with a spoon if I ate them at all. I wish I could have gotten my money back. Worst meal ive paid for in a long time. Im glad I got it to go, because I would have refused it and left had we dined in.
