Dangerous place to consume food and dangerous place to walk into. Today at 1 PM March 20, 2024 a man was spraying a commercial poison outside this restaurant. The mist was drifting all over people going in the front door. Then I observed him taking the poison herbicide to the back through the door and into the kitchen where food was being prepared. He was NOT licensed nor wearing any protective gear nor had any qualms about misting the poison on customers. You can die from poison through the skin or breathing it. If you value your life do not eat at this place. It should be closed down by the health department. I am a pesticide/herbacide licensed professional and they were in violation of WA laws.. I did not eat there nor will I ever. As I was sitting in my car deciding where to go eat lunch several other people were going in. NOTE: there was another lady walking in while this man was spraying. when she walked in She asked him to stop spraying so she could get through the door. As I was observing about 5 minutes later she came out and was not happy. I asked what happened she told me the women inside walked to the table and grabbed her food while she was eating it!? Took her food from her and told her to get out of the restaurant because she asked the guy to stop spraying poison on her outside! She said the women was violent and threatened her and had a Fork and knife in her hands. The women was a short Asian women who threatened her. She herself was an elderly women as was quite distraught. I informed her good thing she didn't eat the food as the poison spray was taken into the kitchen. I think all the bad comments might not all be 100% the lady is not rude she just doesn't speak a lot of English and she will recommend something else when you ask what the dish is like but I love this food portions they give and I love the appetizer plates and the general tso and the presentation is good on the orange chicken but other that the BIG portions it's about $30-$50 for two but when you get your food you're going to have leftovers great for family gathering quick eats! read more

This is my new GO TO for CHINESE food!! They absolutely nailed it! I've been trying to find Hong Kong Style chow mein in Yakima and this is the best you're gonna get without driving to Seattle. People comment that they're expensive, but the food is legit and NOT OVERPRICED!! You get family style portions, or obese, if you can't handle portion control. I ordered the general Taos spicy, the house special chow mein, and the wor wonton soup. I tipped well because I want this restaurant to stay open so that I have someplace close to go for delicious food! It was FAST like it is supposed to be and was NOT BLAND like most Chinese restaurants! I highly recommend this place. BEST in Yakima! If you want great food and large portions, this is the place. For years, I have searched for a good 'Chinese Food' place and this is it for me. We get take-out from here at least twice a month. Some people find the service too 'abrasive' but the old woman who helps me is great! She asks a lot of questions but only to guarantee it is to your satisfaction. The first time we went there for takeout, she stopped us from ordering too much (we were used to getting small portions from other places) and she was right! They packed our take-out containers until they were bursting. As for the place itself, I would dine there anytime. It looks clean and seems authentic. We just prefer take-out for personal reasons. Our family likes the sweet-and-sour chicken, cannot wait to try other stuff on the menu. I heard the shrimp entrees are very good. WORST service ever! Went to order take out today, walked in and asked the lady at the counter if they were open (not a single soul inside). I didn't notice at first when I asked but she was on the phone, I waited respectfully until she got off the phone to ask again to make sure they were still taking orders. The FOOD is EXCELLENT, the SERVICE is HORRIBLE!!! The lady behind the counter is always rude and overcharges! After reading others issues about overcharging online and on social media about this establishment, we have closely watched our bill each time we've gone in. We always order the EXACT same thing, yet she charges different amounts each time. When I calmly asked her about it, she began to yell at me and told me to leave. I have a very good suspicion that she overcharges and pockets the difference as a "tip", yet calls it "taxes". She has charged our debit card as credit and refused to give us our copy of the receipt. I 100% believe that this restaurant would be SO much more profitable if that woman was not working there! We just ordered 1 combination plate and 1 hot tea for 2 people. The waitress was TOTALLY rude when we placed our order for this $7.50 meal. When the food was brought it was almost thrown on the table. The included soup was not even half of what we have been served before. The portion was noticeably smaller than usual, as we have ordered this many times, and always had food left over. When the fortune cookies arrived (once more almost thrown on the table) the bill was for $11.50. When questioned about the bill, we were told the hot tea was $3 and the extra (4") plate was $1. Always before we received a regular sized plate for the extra charge and the tea was included. Always before we were treated with respect. Always before we received portions the same size as if we were both ordering. They reduced the bill to $10.15 which we paid, never intending to go back. They said that was fine with them.
