Terrible food like over cooked and was sitting to long on the warmer or burner taste was also terrible

I stopped by here for a visit during my work conference. I was craving for some Asian food, but I decide what kind of Asian cuisine. So, buffet is the best option for me. "Fuji" it was pretty close to where I'm staying at so I decided to go there. I was greeted by a nice woman who was wearing hypebeast clothing! That was lit, and the rest of the employees was wearing the uniform so I'm guessing she is the owner or something! I vane on dinner time which started at 4pm. They have snow crab leg, dungeon crab leg, Mongolian grill, conveyor belt sushi, and whole bunch of goodies. I'm like they have conveyor sushi that is a catch lol. I think it's unique. The food were good. Some of the dishes weren't my fav but I mean it's a buffet. There are always a hit & miss. I'm general most of the stuff I put on my plate were tasty. Not gonna lie that this place the cost of the buffet is only $24. If this buffet were open at other side of town. The price nowadays over there in Seattle is like $35-40 per person! Will I come back here in the future if I'm ever in Yakima?! The answer will be yep! Overall, good service and good food makes my tummy happy! read more

Went there for a late lunch/early dinner @ 3:30 A lot of the food was cold, dried out, and tough. I never waste food at a buffet. If I take it I eat it. Today however some of the stuff I normally get was not fit to eat so I left it on the plate. They only had 2 types of sushi available. 1 server working. Had to wait of her to find a guy to cook at the grill. The grill had onions, broccoli, mushrooms, squash. No other vegetables. Overall we were very disappointed. We will not be going back. I can now understand why their parking lot is always empty when we drive by. read more

On the long route to Gold Bar WA via Hwy 410, I stopped in Yakima for shopping and dinner. I passed up steak to try the Fuji Buffet. Upon entering the restaurant obviously went through a transformation from the Old Country Buffet. The interior was fresh, inviting and the staff was very friendly and attentive. The food selection was good, items well stocked on the line but not too much, so it was fresh. The only 'low' was a slight odor in the restroom and one part of the line that reminded me of an issue at a past restaurant in Tukwila-Hope it is dealt with in a timely manner. Other than that, very slight distraction I would visit again and again enjoy a great selection of food and customer service. read more

Absolutely love the food, exceptional service, ambiance and prices. You can either do the all you can eat buffet or if you're watching what you eat get a to go plate. Fuji is Yakima's newest, And best Buffet, they have so many options! The food is absolutely amazing and everything is fresh! They even have a sushi conveyor belt! The service was good, The staff was very friendly, They were also very sweet to the children. The inside was very well lit and not too loud. And the decorations and theming were spot on. Very disappointed. Food was barely warm with the exception of the soups. Most of dishes were very dried out and did not taste fresh. Our visit was at 12 noon and the restaurant was far from busy. I've been wanting Asian food for a long time and wanted options! This place is great. Clean, customer service was great, and definitely a lot of options. I wrote a 2 star review due to the fact the price is a bit outrageous when you see what they serve. Not many options food and drink wise. The food isn't something to brag about. Pros: Gyoza (immediately cold once you put it on your plate but good flavor) Fried Zucchini Fruit Sautéed Green Beans Roasted Potatoes Egg Tart ( a little mushy but great flavor ) Crab Cakes (again definitely not fresh but flavor wasn't bad) Cons: Every single meat was severally over cooked. I had my sons try the hibachi thinking the meat would be cooked at a better consistency. Crab was great. Service was great. The rest was meh. Sushi did not taste fresh. It didn't smell but it had no flavor.

Rice and noddles were ok which is a big plus in my world. Most buffet items were ok. Here is my gripe didn't realize the sure charge was charged on the whole table for one person. I was fine with the charge until I realized that. The sushi paper was chewy not terrible but it's a pass. Habachi was a joke. Either they didn't put out noodles or you get ur protein and veggies cooked and then do like I did and get noodles on the side. Place is still new and was dead inside and I can see why. Customer service was excellen, they have a fresh suchi conveyer, all buffet food was fresh and not stale like other ones. they have a hibachi chef in-house. First of all, Do not believe what people are saying about this place overcharging. They are very much affordable and especially when considering what they serve! I LOVE that they serve crab and shellfish that was not over cooked in a deep fryer like other buffets in the area. I appreciate the freshness of the sushi and that strangers can't put their hands all over the food before you get it. The dining area was super clean unlike other buffets that have nasty bathrooms and bugs. All of the staff were friendly and helpful!
