(11/9/2025) We were passing through Yakima and craving pho, and this spot had great reviews, so we decided to stop by. I really do understand the challenges of running a family business -- everyone pitches in, the hours are long, and it's a lot of work -- so my feedback comes from the perspective of hoping it can be helpful. Service & Atmosphere * The interior is clean and modern, which we appreciated. * The setup initially made it look like we should order at the counter, but when we went up, we were kindly told to grab a seat instead. * We ordered one pho and one banh mi. There were at least six people working and only about four tables occupied, so we were a bit surprised that it took longer than expected for our food to arrive. * The staff seemed quite busy, and we didn't experience much warmth or friendliness during our visit (no smiles or casual check-ins). * One staff member checked on us before our food arrived, but after the dishes came out, no one came by to see how everything was or for water refills. * Check-out is at the counter, which is confusing. * I understand space is limited and family members need breaks, but two people were watching videos on their phones at a fairly loud volume near us. Normally this wouldn't bother us much, but the videos had a lot of loud laughing, and they were on at full volume, which made it a bit hard to relax and enjoy our meal. Food I'm not sure if this is a different regional style of Vietnamese food or a unique take, but it was quite different from what I'm used to. * The pho, for me, lacked depth of flavor. It basically was a bowl of hot water with MSG. I didn't taste any beef bone broth, so I ended up using quite a bit of sriracha and hoisin to add more flavor. 1/5 * The menu mentioned cilantro, but our bowls came with green onions instead and no cilantro. Big deal! * I ordered a large pho, and the portion felt closer to what I'd consider a regular size elsewhere. * The pork banh mi was okay, but it didn't have the charred, grilled flavor I usually associate with this sandwich. Again, it was topped with green onions instead of cilantro. 3/5 * Prices felt higher than what I'm used to in Seattle and Bellevue: the large pho was around $19, and the banh mi was about $15. I recognize there aren't many Asian or pho options in the area so I can understand why this place is popular. Unfortunately, it just didn't quite match what we typically look for in pho and banh mi.

I came at lunch time, which tables were filling up quickly. Coming back to Yakima, I noticed this new shop that served Vietnamese food. Every 6 months or so I visit Yakima. There's been only a few Vietnamese restaurants I've found in the city. The wait staff was pleasant, attentive, checked on me and asked if the food was good. Parking is a little tight due to a shared parking lot with the coffee shop next door. Restaurant was clean, modern display signs for menu and food. Besides not having the usual cilantro and basil with the pho, not too biggie of a deal. I found the broth very beefy with umami flavors before adding Siracha and Hoisin Sauce. The various beef slices of brisket were tender, beef rib was tender, and the meatball texture... splendid! I could tell the meatballs were made in house. Overall very good pho soup. Hit the spot!

Came by for some dinner on a cold winter night and what better than some Pho! There was parking in front, which is really convenient and once you walk inside, it's brightly lit, and a large space. You can either order to go or dine in. We dine in for a table of two. We ordered a Thai tea drink while we waited for our food items to arrive. We got the mix vermicelli, special bowl and the Mom special pho. Both of which were large portions and super tasty. If you're coming here for the first time, I would definitely recommend these items as they're great starters. For two people it was more than enough food but we were able to finish everything. Staff was friendly and the food came out super quick so that was also nice.

The young gents and I had a rare dude evening when our matriarch was at a church event one random Wednesday. We had heard about this spot and decided it was time to check it out! It's Located on the corner of first and mead, in the same building as Inaba coffee. The set up here is very nice. It's a cute little restaurant with lots of seating and a very comfortable atmosphere. The service was very quick. You order at a counter and then they bring you your food and grab drinks, and what not. The food options. Here are quite solid. They've got tons of noodle dishes, some great sandwiches, and they even have Vietnamese bao! we ended up ordering way more food than we needed, including a number of different bao, delicious Bahn Mi sandwich, and some spring rolls and a really nice vermicelli noodle dish. Everything was very very good! The surprise hit, however, was the sandwich! The meat was juicy, crispy and flavorful. The bread was and delicious, and the whole thing was just magic! We had heard good things about here, and our experience was as good as we had hoped for. This is definitely a great addition to, the area!

Vermicelli Bowl (the special one in the menu with pork and shrimp and something else). One the side is a fish sauce with peppers in it.

The food was excellent, and the service was friendly. We enjoyed it a lot. The prices were high, which is to be expected in Yakima, I guess. That and the slightly cold, hard and bright feel of the dining room itself are my only reasons for a four star review. The big screens playing food preparation were interesting, but give off a fast food vibe. We did like it, and we will come back to try more. We ordered the special vermicelli bowl, spring rolls, and beef pho. We both added marinated garlic and red peppers to our main dishes. Hubs also added more fish sauce to his pho.

Food Was great. There is a LOT to choose from and it all looked delicious. We got a bowl and Pho, and wontons and a bao bun. Let me tell you, the wontons were some of the best Ive ever had. The Bao bun was good, but not anlot of flavor. The bowl was decent, the moms special pho was bland and mest was rubbery, but it hit the spot after it was doctored up. The service was great and we'll likely be back to try other things on menu. Absolutely 100% recommend the wontons.

Food was good, a bit pricey, need more meat. Would probably come again. Idk. They need more servers or better communication cause they got our dishes wrong at first. But other than that it's decent pho.

When we arrived, the seating area is full, but we were still greeted warmly. We ordered our meal to go but we were still offered a place to sit in glasses of water while we waited. We both ordered pho. I got the combination pho with everything and my wife ordered the beef pho. She also ordered some pork bao buns, and I ordered soup dumplings. They packaged the pho very well, with the broth, vegetables and meat, and one container and the noodles, some of the extra meat, lines, cilantro, basil, etc. In another container, the servings were huge. We had plenty for another meal the next day. The pho broth was excellent. We did have to heat it up again when we added the noodles and extras, but it was well worth it. The soup dumplings were flavorful and warm and the bao buns had a mild but rich pork filling. This was a real treat while we were on the road.

Not too sweet, but definitely sweet enough to cut the bitter taste of the coffee. The coffee itself wasn't too bitter or sour tasting. I'd get that again. The banh mi, the pork belly option is double the price of any other protein. I'm not sure if that works out in the worth it department for me, but the meat proportion in the sandwich is worth it. The veggies seemed pretty fresh, crisp, but no jalapeño in the sandwich. Not sure if that's a regular thing, but I've eaten enough banh mi with jalapeños, so I consider that a necessary ingredient. The bread was toasted pretty heavily, perhaps cooked in the grease of the pork belly? Not sure. I wasn't a huge fan of that, the bread itself was difficult to tell if it was light and springy with a flaky crust, because it was toasted so hard. Either way, the sandwich was eaten, the coffee was gulped down. I'd probably try other things here. Smelled good in there. Service was nice, staff seemed really amicable and they were turning tables as quickly as people were hopping out of their seats.

I got the typical single black milk tea that I get at most shops that are new to me. Black Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, Less Ice w/ Boba ($6.75) - The black tea here is actually quite good, with a good earthiness almost like a quarter going to puerh. The place recommends half sweet for this drink and I agree that it's very appropriate. The creamer is balanced well in the drink and is not overpowering. The boba has pretty good chew and have a somewhat sticky exterior from the sugar soak. They are kind of oblong in shape and not completely spherical. The pearls are a bit inconsistent in both size and exterior texture. Some are quite smooth on the outside, but others have mini crags running along the surface. In addition, they aren't the most uniform in size, with smaller pieces that seem to have split off. Milk Tea Rating: 4/5 Boba Rating: 4/5 & Tea is pretty good. The service was also perfectly okay--nothing spectacular, but fast enough and polite. Unfortunately, the drinks themselves left a lot to be desired. I ordered the brown sugar milk tea, and it tasted incredibly diluted. There was barely any actual tea flavor coming through. To make matters worse, the boba texture was pretty disappointing. It tasted like it had been sitting out for way too long. Instead of being completely soft and chewy, quite a few of the boba pearls had a distinctly hard interior. It's a lovely space to hang out, but they really need to step up their drink quality and boba freshness.
