They have good customer service and plenty of parking. Had to wait a little bit for a Doordash order but overall the service was excellent. It appears from the signs inside that they only do takeout orders and no dining in.

First of all, let me tell you that Yakima DOES not have many options for Chinese food (good food) at least. Panda Express does not count lol, and Kyoto doesn't either. This restaurant was formally known as Ding Ho off of Washington along time ago, was one of the few places that really reminded me of California Chinese food. Unfortunately, there is no dining in (I don't know why) so it is only take out but hey! It's better! Wait time is not bad roughly around 15 min tops for some really hot food so service is outstanding ! My go to is ALWAYS Beef Broccoli and pork fried rice. Very good taste with the veggies being fresh while the smell of the seasonings and soy sauce.... Mmmmm! Can't get enough!. I will definitely recommend this place here in Yakima as the only best place for Chinese food.

TASTY WOK IS NOW OPEN!!! The old lactation was named Ding Ho which was over off of 16th & Washington, that location is permanently closed.

Got takeout from here- the sesame chicken (pretty good), #9 (the sweet and sour pork was very sweet but still tasty), and the crab cheese wontons. Those were the best I've ever had! I usually order them whenever I get American Chinese food. Will eat here again.

The service is good, food is alright. If you're craving Asian cuisine it will satisfy your desire, otherwise it's ok at best.

I payed and she literally ran out se my food on a table and ran back behind a closed door as I ran my card. $64 plus tip went straight in the trash when I got home. Lots of food, but all of it was absolutely horrible. Did combos since I had never been there , and a order of pan fried lo mein. The general tso and almond chicken im 99% sure were chicken nuggets from Costco. The Kirkland chicken chunks have a very distinct flavor i recognized through the general tso sauce from a bottle litteraly still in the shape of the spoon and dumped on top of the nuggets.. not even stirred. The almond chicken is chicken nuggets too, so that flavor along with whatever that gravy was.. it looks like Dijon mustard and had the texture of loose cheesecake. Horrible taste and texture. Mongolian beef was barely edible but you could tell just how poor quality the beef was , and it overall was a sloppy brown mess. Chicken subgum was ok no real flavor good or bad. Just something to fill your stomach. The pan fried noodles were a sloppy mushy mess. No flavor, almost no smell except from the way overcooked shrimp that the one bike I took tasted like what a dirty fish tank smells like. The noodles had the consistency of mashed potatoes. Nightmare texture to try to eat. I would have had to eat them with a spoon if I ate them at all. I wish I could have gotten my money back. Worst meal ive paid for in a long time. Im glad I got it to go, because I would have refused it and left had we dined in.

When we arrived, the seating area is full, but we were still greeted warmly. We ordered our meal to go but we were still offered a place to sit in glasses of water while we waited. We both ordered pho. I got the combination pho with everything and my wife ordered the beef pho. She also ordered some pork bao buns, and I ordered soup dumplings. They packaged the pho very well, with the broth, vegetables and meat, and one container and the noodles, some of the extra meat, lines, cilantro, basil, etc. In another container, the servings were huge. We had plenty for another meal the next day. The pho broth was excellent. We did have to heat it up again when we added the noodles and extras, but it was well worth it. The soup dumplings were flavorful and warm and the bao buns had a mild but rich pork filling. This was a real treat while we were on the road.

Not too sweet, but definitely sweet enough to cut the bitter taste of the coffee. The coffee itself wasn't too bitter or sour tasting. I'd get that again. The banh mi, the pork belly option is double the price of any other protein. I'm not sure if that works out in the worth it department for me, but the meat proportion in the sandwich is worth it. The veggies seemed pretty fresh, crisp, but no jalapeño in the sandwich. Not sure if that's a regular thing, but I've eaten enough banh mi with jalapeños, so I consider that a necessary ingredient. The bread was toasted pretty heavily, perhaps cooked in the grease of the pork belly? Not sure. I wasn't a huge fan of that, the bread itself was difficult to tell if it was light and springy with a flaky crust, because it was toasted so hard. Either way, the sandwich was eaten, the coffee was gulped down. I'd probably try other things here. Smelled good in there. Service was nice, staff seemed really amicable and they were turning tables as quickly as people were hopping out of their seats.

With lowered expectations, our meal was actually better than we anticipated. I asked to start with a bowl of wonton soup for me and my husband. Our dunce-like waitress should have told us that one large (at $7.50) is enough for almost four portions, vs. two smalls (at $4.95 each.) The soup was quite good -- plump, well-filled dumplings, tasty broth, slivers of pork. Great! Veggie egg rolls -- 5 to an order -- are small, almost tasteless fried spring rolls. The house special chow mein could use more vegetables, but there was a generous supply of chicken, barbecued pork (which looked good but lacked flavor) and shrimp. A comment about the staff: the fellow who mans the register is pleasant and helpful. The woman who runs the place (owner? manager?) could use a course in courtesy and diplomacy. And I already mentioned our insipid waitress. One last thing: hot tea tastes like Lipton. Don't bother.
