a box of chicken nuggies and a container of ketchup

Parking at the hotel I was staying at was so packed, I didn't want to lose my spot and really didn't feel like driving anymore than I already had that day. Asked the hotel front desk and he recommended that I just walk across the street and try Dragon Express. I did, not too bad for a little place, food was cooked right there, even though this was a hot food place (cafeteria style) restaurant. I ordered the prawns and it was more than I thought they were going to give me and was really really inexpensive. Rice was good, not the greatest, how would I know, I'm from California and the Chinatown areas in the major cities can not be beat. My little hot food style shop makes the absolutely best BBQ pork fried rice in the North bay. I bought both items and a soda pop and walked back to the hotel, food was not bad at all, the prawns, stole the show, great batter and were cooked perfect. If I am in the area again, I would definitely try the chow mien next time but you can place a sure bet that I will be getting the prawns once again!!!

Chow Mein, Orange Chicken, And Spicy Pork

Food is blah... customer service terrible. And by that I mean the manager lady serving food has an attitude issue. Asked what two things were because NOTHING is labeled, and she just told me spicy pork and started loading it up she was very snappy with customers and didn't talk to them nicely at all. Ambiance is weird it feels so awkward inside with the staff and it's very small. I made sure to take my food to go. Chow mein: 2/10 Orange chicken: 3/10 Spicy pork: 1/10 If you're wondering how it is compared to Panda Express I would tell you Panda Express is a 5 star restaurant compared to this place. Sad cause it has a cool name! Definitely do not recommend. Wish I would've got Jersey Mikes or Chipotle right down the road literally lol.

My wife and I stopped here for the first time today; we each ordered a two entree meal. I had General Tso's and Orange chicken, rice and noodles. The chicken was tender, flavorful and tasty: the rice and noodles were good, but standard. Mary had cashew chicken and Broccoli chicken, both were tender and flavorful. We were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. You should give this place a try.

Chow-mein is very tasteless and has no veggies. Tastes like boiled spaghetti noodles with no salt

Panda Express is 5 times better. This place is a cheap version of panda but still the same price. Chow main just tastes like boiled spaghetti. Pork is hard and tasteless.

Dragon Express is ready for travelers! Their buffet is fresh, hot and delicious. Located next door to a Starbucks that is ONLY drive thru, crazy. Dragon Express is right off the interstate, exit 179. The restaurant & the bathroom is very clean & the staff (the owners) are very friendly. We skipped the ridiculous line in the Starbucks drive-thru and got some piping-hot Chinese food to go before the cars that were in line at the coffee place next door had even moved. There are fast food joints very nearby, but this was so much better! I can't imagine food being any more delicious than this and certainly not quicker! The 1 star off is because there wasn't a vegetable-only offering. Pork, beef, chicken & more chicken, steamed rice with a sprinkle of vegetables and traditional Chinese noodles with a sprinkle of cabbage & carrots. This is not a chain but a local couple's business. Do yourself a favor and patronize this local restaurant instead of the big chains & enjoy your meal. I read about squash in prior reviews. There was no squash anywhere today. My pork had amazing flavor. There were tiny red pepper pods in my pork. My spouse had the same spicy pork & chicken. We were both happy with our meals. Servings are large. It must be under new ownership since 2019 as the reviews from 2019 and before don't look anything like the current situation.

Usual options plus sweet and sour shrimp and honey walnut shrimp they will make for an additional charge

Awkward start, standing at the small entrance area with others until servers appeared to guide us to a nearby booth. Booths were comfortable enough. Minimal wait time to order. Spring rolls were not my 'cup of tea', but 5 of 6 were eaten between the both of us. The two entrees we ordered to share were tasty and we would enjoy them again. The stand outs of our meal included lots of fresh veggies in the King Pao Chicken and tender thin sliced pork in the Pork Chow Mein, the noodles were cooked perfectly. Service was not as great as our dinner. We felt forgotten after the food was served and had to wait longer than we wanted when we were ready to pay and leave. Overall, we would dine here again and see how it goes or just pick up to go orders, as the food was pretty good. Bathroom was clean and had all necessary toiletries.

Those were hand-made on the spot, Cochise. Yang Tze Pork had great char sui flavor, and sides were robust and delicious. It was Saturday and the lunch buffet was $10.95. The buffet had only six items, which made me snicker. But I'm eating Keto style, so only took 3 items... teriyaki chicken, mixed vegetables, and deep fried chicken meatballs. Oh my God, was I surprised with the flavor of this pairing. We've all had Chicken Teriyaki, right? (...char-grilled chicken strips on steamed rice with sauce-outa-the-squirt-bottle. Right?). Well forget that! This was chicken sauteed in a mild-sweet-soy (full of meat drippings, like gravy! It was fabulous! Man, I'm going home to re-engineer that recipe! I love it when you discover some new food-approach that no-one's doing anywhere. This was that moment. And with the medley of steamed vegetables and iced tea...wow, just wow! When we arrived, the seating area is full, but we were still greeted warmly. We ordered our meal to go but we were still offered a place to sit in glasses of water while we waited. We both ordered pho. I got the combination pho with everything and my wife ordered the beef pho. She also ordered some pork bao buns, and I ordered soup dumplings. They packaged the pho very well, with the broth, vegetables and meat, and one container and the noodles, some of the extra meat, lines, cilantro, basil, etc. In another container, the servings were huge. We had plenty for another meal the next day. The pho broth was excellent. We did have to heat it up again when we added the noodles and extras, but it was well worth it. The soup dumplings were flavorful and warm and the bao buns had a mild but rich pork filling. This was a real treat while we were on the road.

Not too sweet, but definitely sweet enough to cut the bitter taste of the coffee. The coffee itself wasn't too bitter or sour tasting. I'd get that again. The banh mi, the pork belly option is double the price of any other protein. I'm not sure if that works out in the worth it department for me, but the meat proportion in the sandwich is worth it. The veggies seemed pretty fresh, crisp, but no jalapeño in the sandwich. Not sure if that's a regular thing, but I've eaten enough banh mi with jalapeños, so I consider that a necessary ingredient. The bread was toasted pretty heavily, perhaps cooked in the grease of the pork belly? Not sure. I wasn't a huge fan of that, the bread itself was difficult to tell if it was light and springy with a flaky crust, because it was toasted so hard. Either way, the sandwich was eaten, the coffee was gulped down. I'd probably try other things here. Smelled good in there. Service was nice, staff seemed really amicable and they were turning tables as quickly as people were hopping out of their seats.
