I love super burrito and have been coming here since it was just a stall on the beach. Their steak quesadillas were MIND BLOWING 5/5 stars. In the past year(?) or so, they changed their menu and The past 3 times I've had quesadillas I've been disappointed. We got them again today and my quesadilla was... soggy. Actually dripping wet from some sort of liquid. I had to use napkins to try and help keep it together because the liquid made it start falling apart. So I ordered the Steak Burrito. First off the burrito is good I give them that. I do believe It's a little a pricey. I think the burritos need some corn added to it and some other sort of salsa. Overall the burrito is fresh and the service is pretty good. The staff member that received my payment was pleasant. read more

I can't believe I don't even have pictures to show the burritos. These burritos are TO DIE for. The flour tortilla plays a big part in the making of this. It is chewy and soft and it houses the perfect carnitas party. SOOOO delicious. I always say i can split mine in halfsies and i end up going back to the line. I'm a fool! The burrito is a serious 3-4 pound machine. okay. Maybe 3. but you can definitely do a bicep work out w this brick. I am craving one just writing about it. If the tacos and bowls come even close to the goodness of their super burrito and salsa these guys should win a Nobel prize (or at the least a 5 star yelp rating). Everything in the burrito melded together creating a super delicious flavor log. I ate 80% of it. I'm glad I left some for breakfast the next day. Normally don't do 5 stars but this place deserves it. Been going here since January when it opened and it has never let me down. The pork is perfection and the chicken is also very good. The beef had recently changed but not the biggest fan of. Personally I usually get the chicken burrito with sour cream or the al pastor pork with hot sauce. read more

This place just opened up several months ago in Arverne (the Rockaways) and they are making killer burritos that match the freshness of Chipotle with much more interesting combinations and specials! It's a little pricier than Chipotle but totally worth it as they make massive burritos! I was visiting the area and wanted to get some healthy food for dinner, and I went here. I ordered the grilled shrimp bowl, without beans since I don't eat them, along with Pico de gallo and salsa on the side. Well, fortunately I always check my food before I leave with my takeout and I noticed that it looked wrong. I brought it to their attention and they proceeded to remake my order. I got it back and it seemed correct and I left, by the time I got to my destination and started to eat, I found out that they messed up my order AGAIN! The bottom of the plate under the rest of the meal was covered with BEANS!! Unfortunately, it was too late to go back and get it fixed. It's the worst thing when your order gets messed up so badly you can't thoroughly enjoy your meal. The staff was pleasant enough, but the lack of attention to detail from the kitchen spoiled it for me. The meal before that tasted great until I hit the beans. read more

I would give this place 0 stars if that was an option. My bf and I went to far rockaway to check out the neighborhood that we may potentially live in and decided to try out one of the local food places while we were at it. We ordered a grilled chicken burrito and a chicken bowl. Cost about $32 dollars. It tasted like dog food wrapped in prison bread at best. Possibly the worst food I've ever had. Overpriced and under cooked. Don't come here if you want real Mexican food. It's called super burrito but it should be called super shitty burrito. We threw it out after a few bites. read more

We had just come back from surfing. We were walking around to find something to eat and we saw Super Burrito. It was recommended to us so we figured we would try it out! We were not disappointed at all. The service was great and quick, the burritos tasted fresh and we didn't feel super weighed down after. Ate at Super Burrito during lunch on a weekday. Super friendly service and excellent selection for vegans. We had salad bowls containing rice and beans and fresh vegetables with mildly spicy sauce and Pablo Peppers. We skipped the sour cream and cheese, though tempting. Portion was large and service excellent and accommodating. No need to walk beyond the boardwalk for good and fresh food. Moreover we were able to sit at their table in the shade. read more

Well sorry to say another Upstart in far Rockaway failed to deliver an edible burrito. The service was terrible with this customer waiting to order for more than 10 minutes in an empty establishment. Only to have a burrito whipped out of various open buckets. If this was a food truck at a fair I could possibly understand because they would be going on to the next town,but in the long term they will have trouble paying the rent. I order a supreme burrito, or w.e the name of the burrito was. Anyways, I went here once with a fried and the first time it was good and warm, so I decided to go back again some other time. I liked the first burrito so deceived to get the same thing, come to find out when I start eating the burrito the only thing that was warm was the steak I believe besides that the whole inside of the burrito was cold. When I pay over $20 for a burrito and a coke, the least you can expect is for you burrito to be cold. Over all the customer service is good but I would never go back, no thanks. This spot gives me chipotle vibes; addictively mediocre. It's not terrible food, but I've definitely had better (helloo Los Tacos #1 in Manhattan!). Outside of the chicken, the pork and steak tacos are usually a bit too chewy. The chips and queso are pretty good, but the queso definitely has a weird hue. The portions are pretty large, one burrito can probably feed two people. Chances are I'll probably continue to purchase food from here, but definitely wouldn't consider this a top spot. read more
