BOY OH BOY! Needed a quick bite before heading to Barclay, and I found this little "hole in the wall" taco spot. It's only about a 6 minute walk from the arena. The ambiance is lowkey, not a huge establishment. The service was efficient, fast and friendly. The food was absolutely amazing. Delicious tacos, the chicken was seasoned to perfection. Steak was good, but the chicken was definitely better. The fried shrimp was tasty, fresh and seasoned well also. The corn ribs were a nice treat to pair with everything else. Tacos aren't expensive either about $5-$6 each but the portion/meat quantity is plenty. I recommend you trying this establishment. They have multiple locations also, I'll definitely make this my go-too before any Barclays visit.

Tacos del Barrio has become one of my favorite spots in this area when looking for something both quick and delicious. They opened earlier this year, and the quality of the tacos now, months later, is still just as good as it was then. If tacos somehow aren't your thing, they also have quesadillas, burritos, and bowls, and there are a range of choices including chicken, al pastor, fish, mushrooms, birria, and more. I've only ever gotten tacos here, but they are excellent - a good amount of protein, great flavors, fantastic sauces, made-to-order corn tortillas, fresh toppings. So far, I've tried the al pastor, pollo asado, and birria, and would get all of those again. The tacos are usually enough for me, but if I were to add a side, it would be the elote corn ribs. Those are great. Looking forward to getting some more tacos soon!

Decent quick bite. Not Oaxaca or Cali but okay for a NY fix. A little larger than the typical hand-sized tacos. The AL Pastor and Pollo Asado both have good flavor. Could use a kiss more salt but still flavorful bites. The Elote Ribs were hard, as in an unripe Corn. The corn lacked sweetness or corniness. They were dusted with Chipotle and Cotija & could've used more cheese. The Salsa Verde and Sour Cream for the Chicken Quesadilla was DELISH!! The Salsa Verde is blended smooth, great flavor but prefer a chunkier Salsa. The Sour Cream was VERY tangy and scrumptious. Service was quick and friendly. Slim to No Parking so take public transpo.

We got takeout and had a yummy meal, I got the Birria Burrito, and we shared the chips and guac. Pretty standard fare, I felt like the burrito maybe didn't have all the sauces that I added/were included because it was a tad dry, but it still tasted great and held together the whole time. I think you'd get more of the birria experience with a taco instead. Solid and they have a lot of options, which is good if you're trying to cater to a lot of different tastes. Guac was delish too. Good option for tacos and burritos in the neighborhood.

This meal hit the spot. I came here afterwork and it wasn't that crowded inside but they had a steady flow of delivery orders. The place is clean, has indoor and outdoor seating. The service was nice and the food came out quickly. The corn ribs were good and the tacos were also good with a nice portion of meat. I do recommend. I will be back good location right off the train.

Some of the best tacos in the area. I love that they are fast casual but still tasty. I've never had to wait long for my order and they make it fresh. I've tried their pork and chicken tacos and I usually get them with all the toppings on top. I've also had the guacamole and chips and the corn ribs, which are both very tasty. I've even done delivery before, and they travel very nicely. My only problem would be that I feel like the chips and guac could be a bit cheaper or larger portion size.

This is a fast casual taco spot in downtown Brooklyn. Similar to the ones in the city but they're switching it up a little. The atmosphere is set up nice. They have indoor and outdoor dining. The menu has a good variety of options to choose from. I got the birria, fish, steak, and pork tacos. The corn ribs are a must. Jarritos for the Bev. They make all the tortillas fresh in house. The meats were cut up nice and cooked well. The birria tacos had a crispy layer of cheese and if you buy 3 you get FREE consome. I'm not a big fan of fish tacos but these were pretty good the fish was soft and crispy. The tacos were good overall. The corn ribs??? It was my first time trying corn ribs and they are FIRE. The sauce and toppings are really good. Can't go wrong with the Jarritos. I ended it off with the tres leches and I was impressed. I got the strawberry. That small cup was just right. It had a good amount of sweetness and milky flavors. Thank you so much to Aiden. He's only 18 years old and is doing amazing things with this taco shop. Service is good here.

I love the bright welcoming colors throughout the restaurant. The clear doors and windows that allow you to see the cleanliness of the restaurant. Once you walk in you could smell the different herbs of spices. Everything is so simple and place where it needs to be place. The kitchen it a clear view you see the work getting done. The cashier is very friendly and informative. My meal was 10/10 I had the pleasure of trying the Fried Fish taco 5/5 I try the Famous elotes(corn ribs) 10/5 MUST TRY!! Tres Leche De Oreo 2/5 too sweet for me texture was great

I have frequently visited this restaurant. I like takeout but eating inside is by far my favorite. In store you can add their chipotle sauce on top of any meal. You can add as much sauce as you like. My favorite menu items are the corn ribs and the shrimp salad. You can have them hold the rice in the salad for a healthier option. This is by far the tastiest salad in town. Don't forget to grab your glass bottle Diet Coke! A good quick food stop location. Parking maybe a little Ricky depending on timing.

We came in and ordered via the kiosk. Apparently some that were ordering had been waiting upwards of an hour!! Since we were late to the game, when hearing of this we stepped up to the counter to inquire about our order. One of the staff members accelerated our order and we were able to dine in within a timely fashion. The tacos can be customized for flour vs corn, and are homemade! The portion of meat to the taco was almost half of the tortilla so it felt really skimpy. Order by best to worst: birria, el pastor, fish, carne The birria had such a dynamic flavor and savory bite. I wish we ordered the consume because I'm sure it would've made it even better! The el pastor had a lot of flavor but kinda dry. The fish was fried to perfection but could not be good without sauces. The carne was straight up meh since it was small bites of dry meat. The side sauces were amazing. Elote corn was FIRE with a loaded seasoning and flavor. No bathroom on site.

Had the chance to stop by Tacos Del Barrio in Brooklyn, owned by 17-year-old Aiden Sterlin. The spot brings that real authentic Mexican flavor. I went with the fish and shrimp tacos, both served on corn and flour tortillas. The tacos came loaded with lettuce, breaded fish and shrimp, fresh cilantro, lime, and their special house sauce that ties it all together. I also had to try the Oreo tres leches for dessert -- and let me tell you, it was amazing. Definitely one of the best tres leches I've had in a while. Prices are real convenient, and the customer service was on point -- super welcoming vibe. I'm definitely coming back to try the quesadillas and burritos next. If you're in the area, make sure you pull up to Tacos Del Barrio!

Was in the mood for tacos discovered this place on a whim. My friend and I walked into a beautiful space there is a diner in space if you choose, but not alot of seats. The place is clean and the staff is friendly and inviting. We ordered the corn strips, fish, shrimp and mushroom tacos. Everything was delicious. I took a chance and ordered the tres leches desert omg so good. If you're looking for some good tacos with friendly service, stop by Tacos del Barrio, a short walk from Barclay's center..

Really great spot! I tried their fried fish taco and shrimp quesadilla. Both were quite tasty through the shrimp was better in my opinion! Service was good and the food was very flavorful. Will definitely be back!

I went on a Friday evening around 9:30pm. It was still fairly busy inside, but it was mostly people grabbing to-go orders. After ordering I snagged a spot at the counter. There's extremely limited seating, so I wouldn't bank on eating at the restaurant when it's busy. Be prepared to take your food to go. I got the Nene's Deluxe, which comes with a taco, a mulita, and an empanada - all with Birria of course. It was all delicious. The mulita was at the bottom of the box and got completely soaked with Birria. It was extremely messy to eat. Get plenty of napkins. I also got a side of fries and nacho cheese, because it was a long week and I deserved it. They had a seasonal strawberry horchata as well. This was okay. I also think I might just not love horchata in general. This meal definitely hit the spot. The Birria and consommé were top notch. I would return in a heartbeat.

I tried something different than my usual and went with the Adobada Tacos (Pork Al Pastor). The meat itself was spicy and a little rough, which leads me to believe it was maybe old meat. Instead of cubed, the pineapple was shredded which offered a nice touch. Unfortunately the actual taco got soggy by the time I ate it so I just picked out the meats and pineapple. There is plenty of avocado green sauce placed on top, which moving forward, I will request to be on the side to prevent the taco from getting soggy. Overall I probably should just stick to what I know/like so I'm willing to give this location another shot!

Our reservation was for 8:30pm, but we arrived early and Alejandra, the hostess, was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Even though she was ready to seat us, we decided to hang at the bar until the rest of our party arrived and that was the perfect move. Alkarys behind the bar was top-tier. She recommended the Siempre Reposado, and let me tell you... smooth, clean, dangerously good. If you're into tequila, that's a must. Now let's talk about the food. We ordered the quesadilla, rajas, tamales, tacos, and the queso fundido and every single dish hit. The queso fundido came out bubbling, rich, perfectly melted with that pull you want when you scoop it up. The tamales were moist and packed with flavor, wrapped beautifully and clearly made with care. The rajas had that perfect balance of roasted pepper sweetness and savory depth. The tacos? Authentic, well-seasoned, and layered with flavor, no shortcuts. Even the quesadilla stood out, crispy on the outside with that perfectly melted interior. Everything felt traditional, elevated but still true to its roots. You can taste the authenticity. Service was attentive without being overbearing, the ambiance was super casual and laid back, the kind of Brooklyn spot you pull up to for a real dinner experience, not just a quick bite. Highly recommend this place if you're out and about in Brooklyn. Definitely coming back for the tequila, the queso fundido, and round two of those tacos. I'm gonna try eating at the bar to check out the spot in the front of the house.
