Ok.. hurts to write this but it needs to be said…read more Been going here since first week open. The tacos were delicious, well seasoned, and the salsas were amazing. But....now it seems that the spice level only serves a specific crowd. Even the guacamole the last time we ordered it was an 8 on a scale of 1-10 for how spicy it was. I think it's great that establishments can get creative with certain dishes to appease all dietary needs, and even fuse two cultures. However, you're still a "Mexican" taco joint. All three of your salsas and now the guac are WAAYYYY too spicy. You can have spicy but for some people who really enjoy the wood fired flavor of the meat, it's DROWNED OUT WITH HEAT. Also, i have ordered tacos several times through the online method and chose NO SAUCE.. tacos still came with sauce (8/10 spice scale of course) and ruined the tacos Please pay attention to the modifications.. if it's too much, a: don't offer them, or b: make sure your employees know how to read the modifications Probably won't go back until they either open a spot for their newly intended audience or revert to a taco spot again.

Soon thereafter, they announce that your food is ready. My wife loved the guacamole and chips and chicken birria and smashed burger tacos. I had an amazing El Pastor bowl. Lots of food for the price and all of it was delicious, absolutely a flavor bomb! Delicious meat, rice, beans, toppings, and a couple of fantastic sauces. The perfect lunch for me! Had a tasty Jamaica drink with it. Really glad we tried Taco Empreso!

My coworker was raving about this place having the best birria. He had brought in some birria tacos…read moreto share. I was a little skeptical but after the first bite, I was wowed. Despite the fact that the taco wasn't fresh, I think it might've been a day old and the shell was a little stale. But the flavor of the birria - wow. It was so flavorful even without adding on any salsa. The consome was loaded with meat but I do think the consome was a bit in the saltier side. With how good the birria was despite not being fresh, I can only imagine how good it would be fresh.

It didn't come with a birria dip but my partner got the consume and omg, it was the perfect dipper and amazing on its own. The little things that are always a stand out for me is that they give you a hand full of limes. I'm sure that can seem like a small thing but lime is such an integral part of tacos for me and most place give you one or two for like it's the lime shortage of 2014. So to open my box up and see five, I was super excited. The price is really affordable too. I paid twenty two bucks for tacos, consume and a drink. Can't beat that! If you see this food truck around your way, check it out.

Everyone we interacted with was friendly and fast/efficient. We ordered several carne asada tacos and quesadillas in addition to chips/guac. As always, everything was delicious - there's a reason they're so popular and considered one of if not the best tacos here. Similar type of location and layout as their other spots on the city. It's quick, loud, small, but efficient- quite fitting of NY. Always a good time and good food.

While we were waiting,…read moreyou could hear both locals and visitors talking about how amazing this place is, which only made me more excited to try it for myself. The hype was absolutely worth it. The adobada tacos were hands down the best tacos I've ever had. The homemade corn tortillas were fresh and flavorful, and the adobada was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and packed with flavor. I also tried the carne asada tacos, which were good but definitely overshadowed by the adobada. Each taco came topped with onions, cilantro, guacamole, and salsa. Just a heads-up--the salsa packs some serious heat! Overall, this place completely lived up to the hype. If you're in the area and don't mind waiting in line, it's absolutely worth it.
