Came here on a Sunday afternoon with a group of nine and were seated upstairs where there is waiter service. The menu is extensive and offered so many things that we wanted to try, so we did and shared. Buffalo wings - spicy, hot and delicious. Left us licking our fingers (good thing there was no one else seated upstairs at that time); Chicken whiskey club and hot roast beef sandwiches - served on your choice of bread with cole slaw, pickle chips and choice of one hot side dish (we ordered the roasted sweet potato (which was amazing!) and mashed potatoes with gravy); 1/2 wood-smoked Chicken dinner - comes with pickle chips, pickled red onion (whenever something came with pickled red onion, I called dibs on the onions) and choice of one hot and one cold side dish; House Burger - chargrilled, and billed as containing fresh ground brisket and short rib, and served with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, thousand island dressing (could have done without the dressing or having it on the side), cole slaw, pickle chips and one hot side (pit-smoked beans); Asian BBQ Crunch (a salad, I know, who orders a salad in a BBQ joint (okay, this isn't a "joint")?) - contains grilled chicken and the greens and other veggies tasted fresh and crunchy. I wouldn't have left a bad review if I didn't see other reviews from 2 years ago that mirrored the experience I just had. I just ordered the Trifecta, which is a BBQ platter. After tax and tip the meal was $50. For this I received 3-4 slices of dry smoked turkey breast, 1 sweet Italian sausage that fell short of what I buy at the supermarket, and "burnt ends" which appeared to be nothing more than cubes of fatty brisket, for which I paid extra. Burnt ends are supposed to be re-sauced and re-smoked, neither of which seemed to have happened. They were tender and tasty, but resembled burnt ends only in shape. Everything on the platter was luke warm, except the small helping of fries. If I hadn't been tired and hungry I would definitely have sent it back and left. I will not be back. read more

So, I'm a lover of BBQ. I can't say it's my favorite because I love too many different things to have a favorite. My wife keeps kosher. This usually means that we need to eat things other than red meat. The alternative is extremely expensive meat. If you don't pay through the nose, it's tough and salty. She wanted BBQ and picked Graze. I was excited as well. We went in and there was only one other table with people at it. It was an off house. Sort of Linner time (lunch and dinner). I ordered the Trifecta. I got 16 hour smoked brisket, sausage and burnt ends. Sides were mashed potatoes and baked beans. Everything was DELICIOUS! The brisket was tender and perfectly smoked. The sausage had a nice snap and great flavor. The burnt ends were awesome. Smokey little morsels with a slight char. I could have done with a little crunch on them but I can't complain too much. The beans were the only thing that weren't special. Even the mashed potatoes were really good with a flavorful gravy. My wife got the bull rider. Brisket, pastrami, smoked Turkey, beef bacon and dressing. It was delicious. I am looking forward to going back and trying more! read more

Normally this place is good. Jerky is great, definitely worth trying. I usually get American classic burger-very good. The truffle fries are good, thin and crispy. Sweet potato fries are not good-to soggy. Burnt ends, definitely must try. However customer service really needs work, if employees don't wanna be there, why are they there? Please hire people that actually want to work(or need to work and are willing to be customer focused). I come in and they all look like they don't want to be bothered or others are running around. It's not my intention to be rude but you have to have people that want to provide customer service(even if they don't love customers-it's your job until you move on else where. read more

Let me start by saying, I don't keep kosher. Now that that's out of the way, I want to say that I've eaten A LOT of BBQ in my life. Graze stands up to any BBQ joint I've ever tried. So far, I've had the brisket, Turkey and chorizo. Also had a lunch special pulled beef burrito with a side of Kishka. If you don't know what kishka is, I feel bad for you son. Their take on it here is exactly what you'd expect. A little Smokey, a little sweet. I work in cedarhurst as somewhat of a home base and Graze is slowly becoming my go-to spot. We ordered tonight, they forgot 20% of the order (mainly sides) and massed up the rest (large order I have to say) wrong items and mixed up orders, wrap meat in the platter and platter meat in a wrap etc.. Saw this place on Resturant Hunter / Fios 1 last week the Pastrami looked awesome .... So this Sunday 3/4/18 at about 4:pm we stopped in ..... The poutine Fries were very good .... not the real deal poutine but they put a great spin on it !!! The Pastrami...... two complaints; first off they are salting their Pastrami too much; Secondly not enough Pastrami in the sandwiches !!! For $ 17 bucks ..... maybe do away with the one free side and top that sandwich right !!! Other wise a really good sandwich !!! So we spent $ 106.00 bucks with the tip !!! The reason why the low rating was because of the service; we felt like we were not welcome here.... me n my brother were not wearing a yamaka !!!! Really !!! We have Jewish friends and if they were here with us I'm sure we would have been treated much differently!!! You think our waitress would have brought a few pieces to our table to sample ..... she knew my wife & I were upset about that !!!! We came from Brooklyn to try this place what a disappointment !!! Went there with a buddy of mine and we wanted the Dino ribs, but they were out of them on a Tuesday night at 7:30pm. So we went with the trifecta for $29 which is reasonable since it also comes with 2 sides, 1 hot and 1 cold. One of the choices was pastrami and having also been to Katz' Deli in the city, I can honestly say this was BETTER than that iconic pastrami in the city. THIS pastrami was moist and flavorful. The burnt tips (I think that's what it's called) was melt in your mouth, flavorful and moist. I also had the smokehouse chicken and veal breast, although good, wasn't as good as the burnt tips and pastrami. The order comes with sweet cornbread and these pickled onions. Now I normally HATE raw onions, but these were damn good! The Mac and cheese was boring actually. I really wish we could have tried the Dino ribs. We were looking forward to that. I think the waitress we had tonight was new to the industry altogether. Unfortunately she was very scattered it seemed. I been waiting a very very long time to try this little joint because it us a drive from queens. About a month ago I finally got the pleasure of going in. Charming little spot. Nice tables and variety bbq lovers selection. I went with classic and got regular burger with bacon, as a side I picked the mac and cheese. My husband ordered a chicken sandwich with side of baked beans. I was blown away by flavor. It was like I am eating down south somewhere. Real authentic bbq flavor. I was just in burger heaven. My mac and cheese was topped of with bacon as well. Was creamy and delicious. I think was just so excitied to have bacon in my sandwich and it beingkosher. The cheesy sauce was a delight, cant tell uts actually non dairy. I cant remember the name of the chicken sandwich but wasn't good. Chicken was dry and sandwich was too flavorless. It needed some kind of sauce in it. Baked beans we're very flavorful. Our waitress was very nice. She cleaned our table right away once we sat down and help bring out food over since we came with our little one. The guy in the front help us pick out our food. He knew his stuff and let us try the jerky they sell in front. We tried terrayaki, cajun and one more. The taste is just out of this world. I went to Graze for lunch. The food came out hot and fast.I ordered a1/4 pound of burnt ends and a pastrami knish.The burnt ends were amazing, tender,fatty and just enough bark. Sometimes the bark can be too well done and hard. The knish was good but the little bit of pastrami that was in the kinish was like eating rubber pellets. Good thing there wasn't much pastrami in it. The prices are really high. I think it was 13 dollars for the 1/4 pound of burnt ends, they were delicious.but not worth 48$ a pound. If I'm in that area again I will probably go back. Sandwich: RODEO- house cured pastrami, honey glazed corned beef, slaw, country mustard, special dressing - $18. Added guacamole- +$3= $21. After tax, a burger and a sandwich was roughly $40. The burger came with almost everything it was supposed to with the exception of slaw, but was cooked well done. The sandwich however was missing EVERYTHING BUT THE MEAT! It did not come with slaw, pickle chips, or the hot side. It did not come with mustard or dressing. Nor did it come with the guacamole I paid $3 extra for. It was just meat on bread. I had to go back to the store where the wrongs were corrected without any fuss which was appreciated. However, by the time I went back home for the second time, the food was cold. My daughter said it was the largest hot dogs she had ever seen, and couldn't even finish those fresh buns. Normally I drown everything in ketchup, but the pastrami was so delicious, juicy, and tasty, that I ate my pastrami sandwich without any condiments. There was so much pastrami, I even gave some to my husband. My husband even got to have a beer with his lunch and really enjoyed his beef fake bacon fried chicken with waffles. The amount of smoke was perfect and no sauce needed. The Mac and Cheez was a dead ringer for the real thing with crispy delicious bacon on top. My husband's mushroom burger was also tasty. I was in a carnivorous mood earlier today and decided to go to this restaurant for a sit down meal even though it's pricey and mediocre. I have never posted a review even though I had been at this establishment several times, because I always gave them the benefit of the doubt . Their food is highly inconsistent at times (for example the "brisket" soup is sometimes very spicy and the meat is as tough as an old work boot). My experience today left me fairly disgusted, and I actually left the restaurant without ordering. I went up to the counter, mind you I was the only customer at the counter, There were several workers behind the counter after about two minutes of waiting and being totally ignored I simply walked out. One young man was tending to a platter and appeared to be wrapping it with plastic while the other three people were talking amongst themselves and paid me no attention. I chuckled to myself as I left the restaurant because the food is just average or sub par. Definitely not worth being ignored standing there like a schmuck. There are 4 workers frantically scrambling behind the counter and 3 customers in line. I ask the waitress If I have to wait in line for a take out order. She says yes. I wait, and wait, and wait. Get to the front. Counter guy has to make some large beef jerky order. More waiting. Finally helps me. My order was sitting on the counter ready the entire time. Get home and it's cold.
