So, I'm a lover of BBQ. I can't say it's my favorite because I love too many different things to have a favorite. My wife keeps kosher. This usually means that we need to eat things other than red meat. The alternative is extremely expensive meat. If you don't pay through the nose, it's tough and salty. She wanted BBQ and picked Graze. I was excited as well. We went in and there was only one other table with people at it. It was an off house. Sort of Linner time (lunch and dinner). I ordered the Trifecta. I got 16 hour smoked brisket, sausage and burnt ends. Sides were mashed potatoes and baked beans. Everything was DELICIOUS! The brisket was tender and perfectly smoked. The sausage had a nice snap and great flavor. The burnt ends were awesome. Smokey little morsels with a slight char. I could have done with a little crunch on them but I can't complain too much. The beans were the only thing that weren't special. Even the mashed potatoes were really good with a flavorful gravy. My wife got the bull rider. Brisket, pastrami, smoked Turkey, beef bacon and dressing. It was delicious. I am looking forward to going back and trying more!

We went to Graze for lunch and everything was PERFECT (i.e. served exactly as imagined, needs no addition, no sauce even), except the burger was a bit overcooked and not especially flavorful (the sauce made it tasty, though). Highly recommended overall! We got three lunch specials + a beer for under $45.00 chili nachos + side salad + soda (tip: dump salad on bottom chips for second nachos!) pulled beef sandwich + truffle mashed potatoes + soda burger + mac 'n cheese + soda

Nice place good burger. This is a good place to stuff your face. The miniature pulled beef tacos are good and the nachos are delicious. The blond girl behind the counter was amazing. Nice polite and friendly. The non dairy mac and cheez was so creamy. I will come back here again and again.

I didn't expect much from this restaurant even though the ratings are high because, c'mon...it's a BBQ joint in Long Island. Cedarhurst of all places. lol Anyhow, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. Went there with a buddy of mine and we wanted the Dino ribs, but they were out of them on a Tuesday night at 7:30pm. So we went with the trifecta for $29 which is reasonable since it also comes with 2 sides, 1 hot and 1 cold. One of the choices was pastrami and having also been to Katz' Deli in the city, I can honestly say this was BETTER than that iconic pastrami in the city. THIS pastrami was moist and flavorful. The burnt tips (I think that's what it's called) was melt in your mouth, flavorful and moist. I also had the smokehouse chicken and veal breast, although good, wasn't as good as the burnt tips and pastrami. The order comes with sweet cornbread and these pickled onions. Now I normally HATE raw onions, but these were damn good! The Mac and cheese was boring actually. I really wish we could have tried the Dino ribs. We were looking forward to that. I think the waitress we had tonight was new to the industry altogether. Unfortunately she was very scattered it seemed. We had to repeated ask for the drinks and we had a side order of fries which didn't show up until we were almost done with our meal.

I picked up the best pastrami sandwich I ever had. The fries and slaw were also very good. Price was reasonable as well.

Louisiana joes looks like a small sandwich shop from the outside but inside it is a flavor factory. The staff was so warm and welcoming and were so helpful. We tried the pork sandwich, jambalaya and the Mac and cheese. There are so many great menu options, it was hard to choose. The jambalaya features shrimp, chicken and sausage. So flavorful and the portion size was excellent for the price. The pork sandwich was delicious - pork was super tender. But the star of the show - the Mac and cheese. We are Mac and cheese lovers and try it everywhere. Well congrats, Louisiana joes. You've officially taken the top spot for cheesy deliciousness. I just regret that we didn't add a protein. I wish they were open daily and had longer hours but I also love that they're not because the staff can have lives outside of work. Cannot wait to go back and try more!!!

I have yet to be disappointed by Louisiana Joe's Sandwich Shop. Everything thus far (*ahem 2…read moreitems*) has been flavorful and has opened my taste buds to wanting to try more. The first time I went here, I ordered their shrimp and grits. Simply put, it's delicious. I've been back a couple times just for that. On this visit, based off another Yelpers review, I decided to give the grilled cheese with the beef brisket a try. Sandwiched between two toasted and I want to say buttered (don't quote me on this) brioche sliced breads with Provolone cheese melted on the bottom half and cheddar oozing out on the top half is the perfectly tender and healthy serving of seasoned beef brisket. I had to eat it as soon as I got it to savor in the moment and experience it in its true form. Hot and cheesy. The two cheeses brought the sandwich together nicely creating a savory dance on your tongue. The cheese literally oozes out with eat bite. As good as it was, I know it will not be a frequent meal to grace my belly, because personally, it's just too much meat *for me*. Considering this, I ate the whole sandwich in one sitting. I'm not usually a brisket person, but I was willing to give this one a try. Cheese, meat, and bread, sign me up. It is a lot to eat as far as the meat is concerned, so if you're not a crazy meat eater, don't be surprised if you only have room to eat half if not one full slice. I also wanted to try their corn nuggets, which looks like fried corn bread but rolled into a ball, but they didn't have it that day. I left feeling a little deflated at that, but my belly was full. I doubt whether I would have been able to eat that along with my shrimp and grits. Note: the longer you wait to eat it, the Colder it gets and its not as good as the first couple of bites *IMO* When the mood hits, I will definitely be back to try something else on the menu.

The chicken looked good but I only ate 1/2 piece of the wing. (Still have me a horrible headache on the way home). Place is small but that's the least of their problems. Entire staff primarily speaks Spanish and aren't properly trained enough to even know how to take an order at your table. The poor girl tried hard to try to write down our simple order but the language barrier made it hard for her to type our order into the system. She returned to the table 5x to explain the various mistakes she made trying to put the order in. As I stood near the bar waiting to put my OWN drink order in, the young confused waitress ran over to tell me that the kitchen was out of collard greens. I smoked and substituted it for something else. 10 minutes later she arrives with my oversalted chicken and collard greens. Maybe wait a few years and try them, if they happen to stay open by some miracle.

The food was flavorful and well-prepared, although some dishes leaned a bit salty for my taste. I ordered the sautéed shrimp and grits. The shrimp were delicious, but I wish the dish came with a larger portion of grits. The gravy was very generous and ended up making the dish a bit soupy, so a little more grits would have helped balance the dish. Other highlights from our table included the fried shrimp and waffles, yams, and mac and cheese, all of which were excellent. Another guest in my party ordered the BBQ salmon and thoroughly enjoyed it as well. The ambiance is casual, comfortable, and inviting, making it a great spot for either a local brunch or a relaxed dinner. The service was attentive and pleasant throughout our visit. We were even greeted by the owner upon arrival, and his friendliness and hospitality immediately made us feel welcome and set a positive tone for the entire experience. We were actually supposed to go on vacation but apocalyptic weather at our destination meant that every flight to that region was cancelled or severely delayed and ain't nobody got time for that so we decided to take a staycation instead. It felt only right to do the thing we would have done on vacation and go out for dinner. TBH we're old now so vacation or not, we eat on the earlier side of things. I think we went at around 5:30pm. Ample amount of seating available at that time. They have quite a large menu with many intriguing options. Unfortunately, only vegetarian main I recall was the mac and cheese. Instead, I settled on the santa fe salad for my main and GF the lettuce tacos for hers. The appetizer menu was particularly appetizing but we had to settle on two so we went with the spicy cauliflower and brie-stuffed pretzel. The spicy cauliflower was flavored aggressively, in a positive kind of way. The accompanying ranch brought everything together. You also can't go wrong with a brie stuffed pretzel. I don't typically like sweet in what is traditionally a savory flavor profile but the fig jam really added a welcome new dimension. Santa fe salad was gigantic. I actually was able to eat the rest of it for dinner on the following night. Absolutely loaded with goodies like avocado, corn, cheese, black beans, scallions, tomatoes. What a combo of flavors and textures in that thing. GF enjoyed all of the tacos except for nashville hot chicken but she isn't a big fan of chicken to begin with. I was especially impressed by their drink menu. They have a literal "smoked" menu which I could not pass up. I went with the southern smoke which is out of character for me because I typically don't get bourbon (for a reason...and i suffered later). This drink packed a fucking PUNCH. My goodness. There is no candy land bullshit juice drinks here, you definitely get your money's worth. There was a touch of a time period between when I finished my drink and was asked if I wanted another but at least they did ask. Ultimately a good experience. I do wish they had some vegetarian mains but if you aren't vegetarian and like southern food you would probably enjoy tremendously.
