    dessert time!

for was delicious. great steak (had bone in rib, medium) best dessert spread ever seen. pricing is not cheap but they do feed you well, good sized portions and nice menu. party of 11 and not one dish was incorrect or improperly cooked or presented to us. very impressive. server was very slow so dinner took over 2 hours, 30 minutes til we were asked for dinner orders, to the point i thought we had a server on her very first day, but id still highly recommend.

Wow! I was here for a work dinner and was in love from the start. We started with some appetizers. My favorite was the special Mexican spicy tuna avo rolls. I could've eaten that the rest of the night. The short ribs were incredibly tasty. Our waiters were wonderful! Very attentive and gave some good recommendations. The restaurant itself is very dark. The waiter was kind enough to bring over an extra table light. My petit filet was so savory. The layered potatoes were a nice side. I just wish there were more. From the first sip of wine to the last bite, it was a fantastic meal. I look forward to trying another cut of steak next time.

One of my favorite steakhouses on Long Island. The meat is seasoned and smoked to perfection. A little hard to make a reservation, it's only online (resy) unless you have a big party. Very big space but still beautiful. Sushi is always fresh, drinks are great, and don't pass on dessert!

Food, service, ambiance....?! All are exceptional! The menu options are diverse enough for every type of person, though this is pretty much a steak house. I really enjoyed the food in totality. It was, however, a bit pricey than what I expected but will definitely be back anyway because they really delivered.

Loved the atmosphere and the service. The food was excellent, except that the price seemed a bit higher than I was expecting. We had apps, sushi, mains and drinks and it came out to $200 a head including 20% tip. The chili rubbed delmonico steak should have been the showstopper, but honestly it was a little too chewy (ordered it medium) and didn't seem like the best cut of meat. However, the orange chicken, kabob flatbread and sushi were all excellent!

I love this place. Everything from the burgers to the Tomahawk Steak is cooked to perfection. I recommend definitely starting with some appetizers. they are delicious and will help you get ready for one of those meals that you will remember for some time....This is a place to EAT.

This place is amazing. Very upscale food and the prices definitely matches that. I would make this restaurant a special occasion destination just because they are a little pricey, but worth it. I had the Teriyaki grilled salmon medium well and it was superb. We got the spicy grill salmon rolls as a starter which is their only cooked sushi. I could eat that all day. Definitely one of the best sushi rolls I've ever had. We also had complementary bread for the table with garlic butter. Bae had the sea bass which he loved and said the middle even had a chocolate flavor which was very unique. For drinks, I love spice so had my fill with the spicy margarita (even though I think it's called something different on the menu). Bae had "Up In Smoke" which was actually sweet and didn't really taste like alcohol if you're into that. Luxurious date night vibes for sure.

Came to Doma Land + Sea since one of my friends keeps Kosher. I wasn't really sure what to expect, i heard a lot of Kosher friends raving about it but never actually tried it myself. The menu looked solid and had a variety of different food to order. Inside, the restaurant was spotless and clean, the tables were kept at a safe distance, and i felt comfortable dining inside. All the tables were sanitized - both upon sitting down and leaving, which i appreciated. For drinks, I got the "Big Poppa" which had smokey whiskey, which i swapped for Mezcal, (which is also smokey), sour citrus, and blueberry. It was great - strong, not watered down at all, and definitely a drink worth getting if you like a smokey taste! For an appetizer, i just got a spicy salmon roll, which was just OK, it was good but nothing to rave about. Next time i'll definitely get a special roll since those also looked pretty appealing. The entrees are really where Doma shines. I got the "Big Eye Tuna" (cooked medium rare) which had a sesame crust, cucumber, smashed avocado, breakfast radish, and soy ginger sauce. I feel like tuna, like salmon, is really easy to make, but also easy to mess up. Doma did a phenomenal job with the tuna! The soy ginger sauce, along with the avocado really complemented the dish perfectly. My friend got the Grilled Veal Chop which had broccolini, patatas bravas, king trumpet mushroom, and wine reduction. It was absolutely delicious! I took a few bites from my friend and was so impressed with the dish. I'm normally not a veal fan, i prefer lamb or beef, but wow. This was amazing. For dessert, my friend just got the Doma donuts, which came with 2 chocolate sauces. I'm not really a dessert fan, so i didn't try any of Doma's desserts, but my friend did like the doughnuts. I would definitely come back and try more of the "land" options that they have here but i really enjoyed my dining experience at Doma.

A friend had told us about Plancha and never got around it until recently. It's a small place but a solid menu and lots of wine. They were also able to accommodate us with our stroller. Food we got the pan con jamon, garlic shrimp, patatas bravas, shisito peppers and the plancha burger. The sangria was very good. Juicy, not overloaded with BS fruit and just very flavorful. The bread is like a toasted baguette cut into 4 triangles topped with piquillo salsa, arugula and jamon. Pretty good, I was surpised there wasn't pan con tomato but it was still enjoyable. This is a bit more on the acidic side so if you don't like things too tangy - might not be for you. Patatas bravas, classic with aioli and bravas sauce. Shisito peppers blistered, a bit of finishing salt and lemon. Garlic shrimp was cooked well, personally I'd like a bit more garlic in mine and some bread to mop would be nice but still tasty. Plancha burger was definitely our favorite. It's a blend of wagyu sirloin and chorizo, so it's very juicy with a nice smokiness. Very pleasantly surprised and definitely will be back to try some other things.

We waited 40 minutes for a table (yes even with a reservation), and had to go up to the hostess stand multiple times to get any sort of update. Understandable it's busy on New Year's Day, but we've never had this issue before and 40 minutes feels really long, we could have had our entire meal and left by that point. On top of that we were jammed packed in with multiple other families who were also waiting for a table and it was very uncomfortable. We decided to wait it out because typically we really love this place, and we have been coming here every New Year's Eve for four years straight. Obviously this restaurant has gone downhill severely. To top it off the manager was telling people how on Mother's Day they had 100 no shows, implying they over booked and let their customers pay the price. Which fine, it's a restaurant thing to overbook just in case, but to inconvenience your customers this way is not okay. When we finally got the table and wanted to sit down we were scolded by the busboy for attempting to sit when we were told by the manager we could, even though it wasn't fully ready yet. So we then saw the table next to it was nearly fully prepared and asked if we could just sit down there. The assistant manager was annoyed by us and asked for us to wait for silverware, but after 40 minutes we were desperate to sit, so we said we didn't mind if they prepped around us and politely begged to just sit down since we had been waiting so long. Finally he just gave us an exasperated "Fine!" and we sat despite the horrific attitude of the staff. We really weren't trying to be difficult, there was barely any room in the waiting area and we were just hoping to get out of the way after waiting so long and two of our family members needing to stand that entire time. The food wasn't great this time around, very unseasoned. It seemed rushed, without thought, and it took forever to come out. Service was incredibly slow, but due to no fault of our server. They had left their staff to pick up the pieces as they were obviously overwhelmed and it took a long time to get any service. It was such a disappointment as it is usually a favorite spot to go with prompt service. In the end the manager did nothing. We thought for sure he would comp something because he knew we had to wait very long, especially when we had other plans New Year's Eve, but he didn't even come up to us and apologize. He also knows we have been coming here for years, we told him that it's a tradition, so the way we were treated was so upsetting. Our waiter instead had to apologize even though it wasn't his fault at all, and nothing was comped from our meal. I would have appreciated if the manager apologized and did something to make up for the horrible experience on a major holiday. I wouldn't have written this review if he did the right thing and apologized, but he couldn't even do that. After many years of coming here I can't recommend it anymore. The management obviously has no care for their loyal customers and the food has only gotten worse over the years. Avoid it.

A few minutes later, two couples who are regulars arrived & sat at the bar near me. They told me that very soon I'll see the place packed with the usual Friday customers, and they were right! I ordered two lychee blossom drinks which I've had before, if I see a lychee drink on the menu I will usually go with that drink. Was given bread along with a white sauce that tasted good, one of the couples passed their marinara dish for me to try my bread with & that was good as well. We came in on a Friday night and had a great time. The vibe and decor is Tuscan with lots of brick and wood around giving a warm feeling. Adding to the warm feeling was the friendly staff - the hostess gave us a 4 top despite us only being 2. They must have knew how much food we were going to order haha. We were given bread with an interesting spread that was tasty, but still not sure what it was exactly. Ordered some red wines. We looked over the menu to decide on some dishes to share. Here's the run down: CARCIOFO BRASATE CON BURRATA BRAISED BABY ARTICHOKES, WITH PISTACHIO PESTO AND BURRATA This was really enjoyable and with creamy burrata and delicious pistachio pesto that was perfect with the tender baby artichokes PARMIGIANA DI MELANZANA Eggplant meatballs were so good with so much flavor - didn't miss the meat at all. Fantastic sauce with this as well. BIETOLA & FUNGHI salad ROASTED RED BEET, MARINATED PORTOBELLO MUSHROOMS, ORGANIC BABY ARUGULA, GOAT CHEESE, WHITE BALSAMIC VINEGAR DRESSING The presentation of this dish was impressive with circles of beets acting as bed for the salad. It was different from the usual chunks of beets in most salads. I enjoyed this salad SPAGHETTI AL LIMONE IMPORTED ORGANIC SPAGHETTI, MEYER LEMON, PARMIGGIANO, FRESH BASIL We asked the kitchen to split this dish for us and they accommodated. The cheesy lemony pasta was perfect and paired well with spicy shrimp dish we ordered. GAMBERI UBRIACATI WILD BLUE SHRIMP, SWEET CHERRY TOMATOES, PANCETTA, CORN, CRISPY BREAD, RED PEPPER FLAKES These shrimps were really incredibly tasty - I usually don't order shrimp dishes in restaurants because they usually give a bit of chlorinated taste. Not here. The sauce was spicy with the pancetta and corn adding sweetness. For dessert we shared the brownie topped with pistachio gelato. The brownie was unremarkable, but the gelato was good. The espressos were perfectly made. The place was busy all night with a few open tables - the service encouraged us to sit allowing us to really enjoy our night. A fantastic experience.
