Cosmo made by Felicia was fabulous. Ambience is really cool. Some of the eats are very good. Only thing I don't like is that there isn't a male bartender who works more than twice a month. It's female bartenders and female servers. I prefer a restaurant where there is a staff of men and women. After all, variety is the spice of life! Was here about a week ago ago and found this place to be beautiful, and the service was Superb.

FIrst off I do not understand why Happy Hour is until 6pm, but at 5:46 their computer shuts off and you cannot even add a piece of cheese to your burger (even paid). Ridiculous. Last night a friend and I went and sat at the bar, the chocolate martinees were very good but when I ordered the brussels sprouts and they were taking extra long (we wanted to make the concert) and mentioned this to the female bartender, at first she checked and was nice, but they still were not coming out and we had to leave which I explained-I told her that since we were trying to make the concert and they still were not out yet that I will have to cancel the order. Instead of apologizing she took on this nasty sarcastic attitude for the rest of our visit "I HEARD YOU" she said and then we asked for the check and again she pulled an attitude " I will give you the check so you dont have to wait 20 minutes for it." The chunky female bartendar DID NOT have to pull that attitude to patrons that were very nice and were clearly in a hurry and things were taking very long. You DO NOT treat patrons like this. And Happy Hour is until 6 NOT 5:46!! i WON'T BE BACK. read more

I have been dying to try Felicia's, have to say it did not disappoint. I recently had the pleasure of visiting twice, once for brunch with friends and today for an early dinner with my family. Here's my break down. Brunch: A Pleasant Surprise I dread brunch. I'm not a breakfast person, and eggs are not my thing. NATURALLY I kicked things off with an espresso martini (priorities you know) I usually prefer it with baileys but asked the bartender to make it as he usually does and it was perfect! For food, we ordered a mix of small plates: breakfast tacos, mini French toast bites, sausage links, mini bagels, and tuna cucumber bites. * Breakfast tacos - AGAIN I hate eggs, yet I haven't stopped thinking about these for a week. That should tell you everything. * Mini French toast bites - Warm, crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and served with maple syrup and Nutella. It was great Duh, who doesn't like that entire combo. * Sausage links - Just the right balance of savory and sweet. * Mini bagels - Toasted perfectly. * Tuna cucumber bites - These were a standout! The tuna had the right amount of heat, paired with crispy rice for texture, a soy glaze, and wasabi for balance, all on a fresh cucumber chip. So good. To top it off, I asked the bartender to make me a fruity margarita because sometimes I could be a basic bitch, and he asked if I liked blood orange, I said yes! Was nothing but basic lol Best blood orange margarita I've ever had. Dinner: Just as Perfect Started off with a Hope Floats, a house cocktail with vodka, fig, raspberry, and a wine floater and who knows what else, but it was delicious . My husband went for a blue cheese olive dirty martini, which, obviously, I had to taste and it was just as great. For food, we shared: * Blistered Shishito Peppers - Tossed in soy, the perfect salty + spicy balance. Even my kids loved them, and they're not into spice. * Korean BBQ Ribs - My son straight-up hoarded these because he refused to share. Enough said * Crunchy Spicy Tuna - Had this at brunch, had to order it again so my family could experience them. For mains: * My daughter's dish: The M/P fish (which happened to be salmon today) on a bed of quinoa, type rice concoction with avocado, and tuna. Super fresh, huge portion, I didn't think she'd finish it, but she proved me wrong. * Son and I shared: Lobster fettuccine in a basil butter sauce. Healthy portion but Lite, flavorful, and packed with lobster. * Husband's pick: Short rib with mash and veggies - Total comfort food and an easy 10/10. I've officially found my new goto spot. One of our faves! My husband and I had reservations for his birthday last night and were waiting and Kat, who bartends, didn't hesitate to help us to our table! She was so personable and sweet, thank you Kat! You went beyond what is expected an that obviously shows! The food is absolutely delicious. Take a spin into probably the swankiest establishment in Long Beach. Exposed brick, and dark wooden seating and decor fill this establishment. The stained glass is a beautiful touch. Music was tasteful and played at the perfect volume. Service is quick and polite. It's a Monday night so we were seated quickly. Water was quickly followed by drinks and we got our orders in with no issues. Cocktails were incredible and are in the running for the best of Long Beach. Try the Warmest Regards and Sweater Weather. First time at Felicia tonight. Food and service was excellent. We had a drink at the bar first. Nice options of wine and specialty cocktails. My wife had a spicy margarita which was great and I had a glass of cab. Both great. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. I asked how many dishes we needed to get for two and she was spot on. We started with the spicy tuna with cucumber followed by the special Lobster Nachos. Both were great. Good amount of lobster in the Nachos. For dinner with had Brussel Sprouts and the Unami Burger with Truffle Fries. Everything was perfect. Dessert menu looked but didn't have any room. My mother asked to go to the new "Gem" in Long Beach. We had a really enjoyable experience here. The staff were friendly and attentive without being over the top, which made the evening feel easy and comfortable. The food was excellent--fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. This was my second visit to Felicia, and unfortunately, it left me disappointed. The food was fine, though nothing exceptional. What really impacted the experience was how the bread situation was handled. We were given a small bread basket with two cracker-sized pieces of bread and some delicious oil. When we politely asked for more, we received another two similarly tiny pieces. At the end of the meal, after ordering multiple drinks and dishes, we were surprised to find a $5 charge for the second serving of bread--something we were never informed about. When I kindly raised this with our server, she was abrupt and dismissive, simply stating there was nothing she could do. No explanation, no courtesy--just a shrug. I've dined at many restaurants, and while I understand that some may charge for extras, it's usually communicated upfront--especially when it's something as minimal as two small pieces of bread. Sadly, this lack of transparency and customer service soured the whole evening. I hope the management reconsiders how they approach both communication and hospitality. read more

The place was nicely decorated and lively. We were there for the Monday night special - pot of mussels and a glass of wine. they had 3 choices of white. pinot grigio, chardonnay and sauvignon blanc. I didn;t notive there was a $7 upcharge for picking the sauvignon blanc bu i thought it was a better wine. Upon checking the wine list it was $14 a glass, just $1 more than the other 2 whites...so why a $7 upcharge?? The mussels were decent - clean and tasty - but the upcharge really annoyed me to the extent I will not go back. read more
