Dined here a few weeks ago since I was in the area. First time patron Buffet price was very reasonable. They have two separate dining rooms and seem to have one designated for families with children and the other has just a quiet adult dining room. The buffet stations are well laid out And the food is prepared frequently enough that it is fresh and not sitting under some heat lights getting dried out. Dining room attendant kept my table cleared and my iced tea refilled frequently. Dining room was monitored constantly and they did a good job of cleaning up. Entrees were delicious. Vegetables were crisp and fresh and not overcooked. Small batches of crab were brought out frequently to keep it replenished. Overall a good experience. Adequate parking and a good location directly adjacent to the target store on East Hill in Kent.

    Dungeness crab and snow crab
    Tonya D.

The food crabs is dunges crabds was dirt and the snow crabs small lobster claws was waterlogged look dirty in the inside watermelon was fresh cream wonton was dry in the middle I'm not sure why they still in business.

All by ourselves in a corner and she keeps dogging us

Everytime I'm here I get put in a corner with my kids. Yes I do have a son who is on the spectrum but they have one employee sit and watch us the whole time ? It's very weird and I feel very discriminated against actually I used to really enjoy coming here but the last 3 times it's been a horrible experience and also when paying double check because they tried making me pay for soda when I just wanted water I think it's pretty insane how they try and get over on people

    Seafood Delight = delicious

As far as Chinese buffets at this price point go, this is an excellent one. Vegetables were all perfectly cooked (still crunchy and not mushy). All the food seemed very fresh and of quality ingredients. Some dishes we loved (crab wontons, chicken wings, vegetables, egg roll, seafood delight); others we disliked (fried rice, hot and sour soup, baked crab salad, apple salad). But overall very good. I will definitely be back. Note: we were there at opening; timing might matter re quality of dishes.

I'm going to be as honest as I can. I put 1 star because I want someone to see my review & rethink about driving to a buffet with a price of 19.99/person. I brought my nieces here today for a send off dinner before they leave to California but found this buffet so disappointing. 1st, My brother found hair in his plate of chicken, we told the staff about it & manager said it could've been his beard... I then AGAIN found hair in the plate of crabs.. I took it to the front & spoke with the owner & she tried to offer me $40 to compensate for the 2 plates... I took it walked away & told my family to get out. I just want to say, Do not come here, not only do they have hair in their food, the floor was slippery wet, the aroma/ the setting & air inside the restaurant was stuffy & hot.. the hibachi area where they cook fried noodles, the staff do not speak English.. The orange chicken, the honey walnut chicken were all stale & tasted a day old, most of the food we tasted, seemed cooked from couple days back & reheated.. Never again. God bless & if you're looking for a buffet, go elsewhere. Pay money where it's worth your money.

Everything else was alright the Sushi was warm, I guess it's because it sits underneath a heat lamp, not a big fan of that personally

Our server explained how the ordering worked, and they had little robots bringing the food over. They had a great variety of sushi options including handrolls, specialty rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and more. The fish wasn't fishy for the sashimi or other items which is always a big relief. We ended up getting the gold option which included the sashimi and nigiri options. So if you're into raw fish, we highly recommend getting that dining option. They also had a mini salad and fruit bar, but because we came closer to closing they weren't as stocked up as I assume they would be during peak hours. Overall if you're hungry and looking for a good deal, highly recommend checking this place out. I believe they do reservations for future dates but not same day reservations. With that being said, I've been here a few times ever since moving to the area the past year and the staff has always been very friendly and I appreciate the consistency of the items throughout each of the visits. Our go to are the Seared Salmon along with the Unagi Bowl. The way the sear the fish and add just the right amount of sauce makes those our go to. For the sushi, the tropical roll had a nice addition of mango, but the sweet chili sauce was a little too sweet for my preference, especially for a sushi roll. The Pacific Garden roll had fresh-tasting yellowtail, salmon, and tuna, and I enjoyed the crunch from the asparagus. However, one of my pet peeves is when menus list crab or crab salad in a roll, but it ends up being imitation crab/krab. I really wish restaurants were more straightforward about what they're using, especially because I enjoy real crab, but am not a big fan of imitation crab in sushi rolls. This restaurant used the words crab salad and I thought it meant that they still used real crab in it. The rainbow roll and edamame were just alright. The gyoza was also disappointing because it wasn't crispy and didn't have much flavor. Presentation was another thing that fell a little short for me. I wasn't impressed with the plating, especially with the random pieces of greens on the plate. Overall, the sushi and sashimi had some fresh components(the highlight), but there were a few things that missed the mark for me. Service was just okay and nothing particularly stood out.

The ramen tasted great but not impressive or memorable enough for me to drive all the way back to Federal Way. I dined in solo and actually didn't finish the ramen or even remember exactly what I ordered. I'm guessing it's the spicy negi. The broth was spicy and enjoyable but definitely didn't taste any different compared to other ramen places I've been to. I tend to eat slow to savor my food, but I felt like the staff was overattentive and frequently stopped by my table to ask if everything was okay. Gave me the vibe that they needed to keep themselves busy or I was taking up a table. Might be great for other customers but it affected my experience with dining in; I usually finish my meals at restaurants but I felt rushed so I just ended up bringing the ramen home for my son, after the second or third time of them asking me if I wanted a takeout box. I'm still giving 4 stars just because the ramen tasted better than mediocre, less than spectacular. I just have high expectations for ramen and prefer more broth/topping variety (I was raised in Cali with options i dearly miss). Plus, I do like that they added a full egg for the ramen (instead of half an egg, like other restaurants I've been to) and the chasu portions were fair. I haven't tried any other ramen places in Federal Way (if there are any), but I guess if this is one of the better options (according to Yelp), it might be worth a shot to try out?

They have a big menu so it's easy to see the prices and their offerings, which consists of teriyaki, soups, Chinese food, sushi and bubble tea. Their prices are very reasonable and the upcharge on fried rice is the lowest I've seen but I think there's a reason for that (it's pretty bland). The cashier lady was efficient at her job but definitely could be friendlier and I wish she wasn't super snappy, there was no real rush and we were maybe their fourth order during that time. We opted to dine in and took our seat waiting for food. They have offer fountain drinks and bottled drinks, as well as water cups. We got our utensils and sauce cups first then our food arrived not too long afterwards. My boyfriend got their chicken teriyaki and chicken katsu combo with fried rice while I got their chicken teriyaki and California roll combo. I love that they have steamed veggies as I like to enjoy any remaining teriyaki sauce with them. The California rolls were decent, not the best but not the worst either. The teriyaki sauce is pretty good, it is a great mix of sweet and savory. They are also very generous with rice as there was a bed of under my teriyaki and two scoops. My boyfriend enjoyed the katsu and the sauce that came with it was very delicious! The only issue we had was that the fried rice had no seasoning or color, I almost thought it was white rice with some veggies at first. Other than that, a solid teriyaki joint that seemed to have a good amount of people coming in to pick up orders for the most part.
