My parents live close by and wanted to take my wife and I here for dinner. This place is pretty new, only a couple months old. Seems to be several reviews bashing the place already, ouch! Hmmmm, I dont know but Im a buffet addict and this place was surely no different then the 4-5 other china buffets I frequent in seattle,lynnwood and everett. They had pretty decent crab legs, we all ate a ton of them, the hot food and mongolian grill was decent. I'm not sure how to really write this review. Let's be honest it's a buffet it has its ups and its Downs. I'm giving it a 3-star review because of the effort. The reason why they lost stars is because the food was definitely left out and dry. There was some good food and some food that I definitely would not recommend. However, the other reason that they lost some stars is because their bathroom was not very clean and had graffiti everywhere.In my opinion I mean that is the impression of your business take care of your bathroom. Now on to the positive side. They have a lot of options of food including Seafood like lobster claws, crab legs, or, fish, clams,, and the other impressive part is Sushi. Now this Sushi is not out of this world but it does the job. I don't know if I would return however my recommendation is you definitely get what you paid for. Everything looks clean and well taken care of but that means nothing if the food is bad. To say it's bad, is an understatement. My companion and I were hit with what could only be described as moderate dysentery just minutes after walking out the door. I visited this place two days ago. FAIL! I had high hopes based on comments by others. I didn't see it. The restaurant was located in a strip mall where every other business was closed. The food in the restaurant was either overcooked, or it was undercooked. The meat dishes appeared to have been sitting under hot lamps for way too long. The salad bar was "fair", you only had one choice of chopped romaine lettuce, no spinach, iceberg or otherwise other options to make a salad. The service was slow despite the restaurant being only one-fourth full, (we arrived at about 4:30 p.m.). The scariest food offering was the Sushi (if you can call it that), to put it simply, the fish was "gray" and inedible - didn't even make an attempt. The food tasted great and the selection was vast, the huge downside is that it may be contaminated with some food-born illness :( I was unlucky this last weekend and I got bit. I'm quite sure I caught the Norovirus there by eating the food as it was the first meal I had in the day (I ate lunch there only because of a funeral reception) and I woke up the next day with terrible mud butt and stomach cramps which later worsened to fever. Unfortunately it spread to my wife who fell ill a day later and did not even eat there which makes me think it is the norovirus since it is transmittable. We are still trying to recover as of now. I think they should take extra precaution and double check all their employees are properly washing their hands, the service spoons are regularly washed, and that the food is kept at proper temperatures, particularly the fruit bar area which was what I ate a lot of. I'm feeling quite terrible. No amount of enticing food is worth this kind of pain. I'm debating whether to contact the DOH to notify them of a possible outbreak. read more

The interior is dingy and gross. There were paper towels (or toilet paper) strewn about the entrance, which needed a good cleaning. The tables needed to be wiped down, not to mention the chairs. I touched something sticky and gross on my chair handle which was off-putting. The food wasn't impressive and not worth the $17.99 you pay for a dinner. It is possible I've outgrown these kinds of places...so keep in mind it's not Sang Kee in Cherry Hill. I cannot expect a hot dog to be steak...that is a metaphor even though this place serves both. My family loves this place. There are a ton of foods to choose from at this buffet and almost all of them taste good. Besides the general Chinese fare and Mongolian grill, they also have some fantastic sushi, although the choices are limited in that department (you can't ask for a full sushi bar at a Chinese buffet). Definitely get some of their coconut shrimp, it's probably my favorite item they have. Friendly service, relaxed atmosphere. Definitely give this place a shot next time you're in Kent. read more

Tried to eat here on a Sunday evening. There were so many people in the doorway and absolutely no organization or greetings from the staff. Many people just stood around in the doorway confused as to where to go or who to talk to in order to get seated. I don't blame the place for the amount of people....but I blame them for not organizing things better. Every time I'm there with the boys the employees would bring our change back & ask for tip. Probably the weirdest thing I've experienced in a restaurant. Not just once but every time including today. The food is not fresh. Most taste as if it has been sitting out for hours. They very rarely refill anything, I didn't see anyone refill anything as long as I was there. I also didn't arrive late and I went on a Saturday night that should have had decent enough business they should have been adding fresh food. So I went here with my husband and our 2 children for dinner. I don't think I will be returning here to eat. 1st) the place is OVERPRICED especially for the QUALITY of food that they serve. For the four of us we spent $60. my children are under 10 so I wasn't paying for teenagers to say the least. The selection of food is quite large but the taste was very bland. And at that point you just try to eat something to get your moneys worth. The seating is very cramped and not too comfortable. nothing really stood out to me as something I really enjoyed other than the crab legs and the crawfish (my husband enjoyed) but I live around the corner and went all the way to west Seattle to eat at another buffet which has better tasting food and better prices. We went there 2 times on weekend dinner. The menu said "raw oyster" but we did not see any. The food was good. But it takes awhile before they bring out lobster and snow crab legs. I was soooo disappointed to learn that the Super Buffet in Kent raised their buffet dinner price by $2.00 for this weekend. While $2.00 doesn't seem like much (and I was informed that there are extra items out) if you are on a strict budget, and its your kid's birthday and that is where she wanted to all 8 of us to go. We've eaten here a couple times over the last year or so, and it just keeps getting worse. We will not be back there. The food obviously had been sitting and most of what we got was cold. The only hot food served were dishes that had just been refilled and there weren't many. it wasn't very busy and we should have gone somewhere else. There are other buffets much better than this. They may offer a large selection of food, but if it just sits there for hours, the quality deteriorates quickly. Now we are just hoping not to end up sick from tonight's dinner.
