We would highly recommend Landtamers Landscaping. They did a beautiful job putting in our artificial lawn. It looked beautiful. However, problems did occur later on in time and we called them. (Through no fault of theirs) They completely replaced the lawn on the side of the house. They were understanding and willing to cooperate with us. We have nothing but high praise for Chris and his staff. Jan & Jack read more

I live at The Meadows and I pay a very high HOA fee and the majority of the money goes to landscaping and irrigation I sure wish this company would do what they're paid for their irrigation people are awful I have seen the same puddles leaks problems now for close to a year and as far as their landscapers and grass cutters well they're nice people but their work is sub par. I probably could hire a couple of homeless people off the streets give them the equipment and they would do a better job read more

In today's business world, it's hard to find folks that will back their work and commitment to delivery of quality products. I am quite happy to recommend Landtamers Landscaping . They have followed through on their work, even though time has passed. It appears that they want to be a mainstay in Tucson and my experience tells me they certainly will be for a long time. read more

Landtamers is the landscaping service in our neighborhood. They troll everyday driving around to look for issues, I guess, but gosh, I am so creeped out by their drive-byes. Please, stop it! We just want to be left alone. Go away. If the HOA wants your attention on something specific, okay, that makes sense. But I doubt that this is the case. You are looking for issues. Please. STOP! read more

The crew removed our 45+ foot Eucalyptus tree that fell over in the latest storm. The entire process from quote to job completion was fantastic. The entire crew were professional, friendly and cleaned up the entire tree mess. Highly recommend!!!! read more

They did our entire backyard -- pavers, turf, plants/trees, door, and lighting. It turned out beautiful, we are so pleased. The entire experience from the quote to completion was great, and I would highly recommend them to anyone. I've already recommended them to friends and our HOA. Every single person we worked with was professional, friendly, and hard-working. The lighting guy, Dave, is an artist! We didn't have a design in mind and were looking for ideas and landtamers proposed different ideas and worked with us to make adjustments. Our project managers, Eli and DJ were really accommodating and were more than happy to add things as the project progressed. They built a custom door for entry to our backyard that was cheaper than any we had seen online or at stores in town. Don't keep thinking about it, hire these guys! read more

We hired Landtamers to landscape our front yard after another company did a retaining wall and pavers. The previous company left a large amount of dirt and debris behind after completing the wall and pavers. Landtamers came in after submitting a reasonable price and scope of work. They installed irrigation, planted numerous plants and laid down new smaller rock throughout the front yard. They also installed my solar lighting purchased online at no charge. I cannot say enough good things about our experience with the crews and DJ. They were all professional and courteous. Open to anything I requested and did an excellent job which they finished in 2 and 1/2 days. Thank you Landtamers! I would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again. read more

I live at an apartment complex n they're constantly blowing leaves n debris onto my patio through a gap between my patio n fence I told them 3 separate times about it n even called the company n they continue to do it today the landscaper was screaming at me when I told him about it so bad he scared my grandson n told me to do it cuz how else do I expect him to do his job I told him to use a rake but apparently that's too much work well that's their job why should I have to do it this company allowing this to happen n letting their employees talk to people like this just goes to show what kind of company they are not professional disrespecting n lack of concern for their customers I strongly recommend to not use this company there's a million other ones to choose from read more

After seeing what a great job Landtamers was doing for our HOA we selected them to remodel our patio. They did a wonderful job! It was a very extensive project and included pavers, a gas fire pit, irrigation, landscaping, artificial turf and more. Now it's like an extra outdoor living space not just a patio. Exactly what you want in Tucson. We are very happy with the work, they were on time, under budget and always left the worksite clean. read more

I sent an email asking for information, never heard back, left a voice mail asking for information, never heard back. Finally got someone on the phone, who said they do not do "residential" but their website says "High End Residential" - and I see their truck at a house down the street from mine, guess they don't want the business. read more

I work a property that borders one of the properties that land tamers takes care of. Over the past few weeks, I noticed some trash being thrown over the wall from their workers. I called and left a message, not expecting to get a call back much to my surprise they called back and said they would take care of it and even gave an apology, hopefully there won't be any more issues in the future but an apology from a company these days it's very rare. I appreciate the young lady who called. read more

I have previously used Landtamers for over three years. They have trimmed trees, improved the irrigation system, installed trellises, general gardening and cleanup. Previously they did a great job at a reasonable cost. However, their recent visit they raised their price by least 25% and did a poor job. I cannot recommend them. Charged $350 for two guys for less than an hour and a half. read more

I am so happy with the job Landtamers did at our home, and wanted to update since their original install of our whole yard, irrigation front and rear, trees, planters, etc. It has been over 10 years now, and just as Chris promised, the little Tree they installed in the corner of our yard to help block a power line in the distance, DID in fact grow to the size he said, within the first few years, and now is over 25' tall and a 12" trunk. Pepper Tree i think? SO now some 12 years later since their orig install, since i have been taking care of my own yard, it is time to call Chris and his crew back in and help out again on an update and maintenance. I am excited to show Chris how it has grown up, and the first couple years i used Landtamers to do maintenance too, they were great. Highly recommend a very conscientious and diplomatic Chris and his great company. At Tucson CC where i live, they are always driving by to do others' yards and it is time they come back to our house on their way, and let me enjoy my Saturdays again and let them do the blowing, weeding, drip needs, and maintenance. Lastly, chris used a proper 1" pvc supply line for our various distributions in our acre yard, and it has held up, unlike those who would shortcut and use a black poly 1/2 or 5/8" line... Good job Chris, made my work easier here for the past 10 yrs. Thanks, and look for my call coming up this week. read more

Seriously??? We started planning this project November 2nd(1st email), said they were a 3-4 weeks out, OK, just wanted it finished by end of January(prefered end of December, but that didn't happen either). So January 7th, nothing, phone call, email, nothing. So I call them and I am told I have to sign contract to do this, wow! So about a week later a guy comes out taking pics or measuments with company. Last I hear from them. I call today 1/27/20 to find out what happened. Lady didn't know and had to find out. She calls back and says we couldn't get pavers in time(from 4 weeks ago). If I could give 0 stars I would. WORST customer service I've ever experienced. It seems from your reviews when you actually handle your business you do a decent job, but we'll never know. If you can't handle the job(too small, too busy, whatever) you should've had let us know, not like you're the only business in town! read more

I had a medium sized job at my home which required some creative problem solving actions. After 4 other referred contractors came and claimed to want to provide a quote, all 4 never returned a call and never provided a quote after they looked at the project. Then Chris with Landtamers comes to look at the job, provides a quote and sends several crews over which all showed up on time and where kind and hard working. The job was finished as promised and looks amazing!!! I am a major fan of this company. I can not be happier with the service, the value and the amazing attitudes everyone had on completing this job. Thanks to the team, I appreciate you all!!! I will tell everyone you are the BEST in the Business. read more

We couldn't be happier with the work done on our backyard by Landtamers Landscape Maintenance. The owner met with us several times to discuss how we wanted our back yard to look, and he added some really great suggestions that we hadn't even thought of. They were very receptive to changes or modifications that we requested. The crews were very friendly and polite, and always cleaned up at the end of the day. They worked very hard, and are talented craftsmen. They handled landscaping, irrigation, gas lines, electrical work, and metal fabrication. They do it all! They even worked with us to keep the costs down. We plan to use them again when we are ready to do phase two of our backyard. Highly recommended!  We love our new backyard! read more

Thank you, Landtamers, for fixing my irrigation system on short notice, and with 1000% professionalism. My system was leaking due to a broken valve, and I was about to go out of town. So, I needed someone to fix it relatively quickly. I called 2 other companies that are highly rated on Yelp, and NEITHER of them even had the courtesy to ever return my call. Landtamers called me back the same day (thank you, Vanessa). I explained the situation, and they said they would have a technician show up before I leave. Today, their technician Gabriel showed up, figured out in minutes what needed to be done, explained everything to me, reset everything and could not have been more friendly and professional. Two thumbs up to Landtamers, especially Vanessa and Gabriel. Will be calling them for future needs. Highly recommend. read more

Chris and his team are excellent! We had a small job that required turf and pavers to be installed, along with some stairs to our spa. Chris gave us a very competitive quote and gave us an install date. His team showed up on time, they were professional, kept the site clean and did excellent work. I highly recommend them to anyone needing landscape work in the Tucson area. read more

The backyard in my new house was essentially a blank slate while the front yard was an overgrown mess. Chris, the owner, came in, shared his vision with me and made it happen with his team who were fast and detailed. I now love my backyard more than the inside of my house! read more

My new lawn looks great! I can't say enough good about this company. They provided an itemized list. No pressure and a lot of great suggestions. The crew was polite and had attention to detail. They listened to my concerns and suggestions as they worked. Answered my questions. Finished quickly and cleaned up when they were done. Very happy with the results. read more

The crew working at the v corner of 5th and Alvernon you're very rude and inconsiderate using power blowers in the direction of pedestrians walking along the sidewalk. Nothing like a dirt bath first thing in the morning . And they saw they just kept right on going looking straight at us as they were doing it. Definitely would not call this company and use them I actually like my neighbors and want them to continue to like me. read more

Do not use this company. It's been less than a year since it's been installed and it looks awful. The nails are sticking out so bad we had to have our dog treated for a laceration in her foot. The seams are showing which they said wouldn't happen. Lesson learned you get what you pay for! read more

Our back yard was a mess with huge potential. Chris came up with an idea that was affordable but still looked amazing. Very, very disappointed in the customer service provided by this company. We had an issue with our irrigation line being cut by a pest control company. The pest control company was fabulous at arranging for the irrigation line to be fixed at their expense by Landtamers. I was told that a Landtamers technician was going to come out on a Tuesday and they gave me a three hour window of time when they would be appearing. I got a couple of phone calls pushing out time frame. Bottom line: I waited all day Tuesday with no technician. The same thing happened the next day, Wednesday. They never showed up. They were then supposed to come out Thursday. They promised they would be at my house on Thursday at 10am SHARP. At 10:10 am, I called Landtamers to find out what was going on. I spoke to a gal named Kristin. She told me that she felt " threatened" by me when I told her I was hugely disappointed with their customer service. I then told her not to bother sending the technician out and that we would contact the Pest Control Company and have them arrange for a different company to do the work. Terrible customer service when a receptionist can't handle a rightfully distraught customer without feeling " threatened". I can't imagine anyone EVER using this company. read more
