Brandon and his crew were just over pruning our large rus lancia, our date palm, cleaning up our entire garden including removing a couple of large old honeysuckle plants that were way past their prime. As part of the job they also trimmed back existing vines that needed it. He gave us very good advice on what should actually be trimmed on the large tree. Did not finish work that was paid for, came up with several excuses and even lied several times about the agreement we had. Originally was supposed to do entire yard and remove trees around shed. He claimed his trailer was full, so we asked if he could just trim them back and we would haul the debris. Never completed. No partial refund. Just excuses. I have a small pond in my garden that is very popular with all the wildlife. Stringweed can be a problem if not kept in check. Pond maintenance in Tucson is difficult to find. Jerry and Melissa came out to weed our very overgrown front and back yards and gravel driveway. They did a fantastic job! It was nearly six hours of work hand-pulling weeds. They arrived exactly on time, double-checked with me whenever they had a question of whether or not to pull something, and raked and hauled everything away. Excellent communication and servuce. Brandon quickly responded to a request I had placed in the Next Door app to remove a Saguaro cactus that had bacterial necrosis and lost all of its arms. His knowledge about the Saguaro cactus and whether it needed to be removed helped me make a tough decision. He and his crew were efficient, did the job quickly and were very personable. I called needing same day service and expected to call a few places. I found Brandon on the Nextdoor App as ppl had suggested to others. He made time and came with a few others to complete the job. Communication was thorough and clear about what I needed done and he stated pricing which was agreed upon before work. You may have seen my recent post where I was asking for help with a leaning tree. I received a few responses and settled on Brandon Alexander of Alexander's Garden Service. His plan of action sounded the best and he had a good rating on this platform. After completing the work (7/11), he gave me a handwritten 6-month warranty. All seemed well until it wasn't. The next big windstorm (7/19) took the tree down again, but now it's leaning even further. Clearly the tree is in a fragile state and could come down completely, and may even need to be removed altogether. After contacting Brandon several times, his response was always the same. He would say my issue wasn't urgent, he had other work to do, and that he might get to me sometime later in the week. His attitude was offhand and not the least bit concerned. He could tell I wasn't satisfied with his responses and then offered his attorney. I agreed to speak with his attorney and asked for the contact information, to which he did not respond. As I write this, he has not honored his warranty, not given me a more specific date or time, not refunded my money as I requested, and not provided his attorney's contact information. If any of these issues change, I will update this post. In the meantime, I certainly would not recommend him. For those of you who've had a better experience, this is mine and it's presented fairly. Both neighbors to my left and to my right have spoken to or seen him, and agree with what I've stated, and also don't understand his non-responsiveness. .....
