Ralph met me out at the house to survey the work I needed done and was immediately able to do it since he knew I was coming from out of town. He and his assistant were just the best in helping get the house uncovered from large overgrown trees and even mowed some overgrown grass for me. Such a nice, hard working guy. I really appreciated the service as well as the kindness he brought to a difficult situation. read more

I had storm damage to a mesquite tree. Ralph did a great job trimming it and saving the tree. He also trimmed 2 other trees for me. Ralph did a superb job, was fast and was very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend him for any tree or yard work you need done. read more

Ralph and his crew did a great job. We have some older, very tall mesquite trees, about three that needed to be cut back away from the house. Ralph quoted a great price compared to the competition. While trimming he noticed some weaker, larger branches which he removed. His crew also took care of some trees not originally quoted for the same price. They were professional and kind. They cleaned up and hauled away everything. Definitely recommend. read more

Superb experience! On time, knowledgeable, professional, quick, thorough, and definiitely affordable. My palm tree still looks like a palm tree instead of a carrot when finished. Well worth the money-- I'll definitely call them again! read more

After being stood up be 4 other companies, we needed someone quick to come trim our 2 trees before the HOA had a hissy fit. I left a message and received a call back right away. I text Ralph the pics and he was able to fit us in before a job within a couple of days. They did a nice job trimming 2 Palo verdes and the neighbor's mesquite, which was overhanging our roof. I'll be calling them again next time we need tree work. read more

I messaged to see about getting an estimate for some yard cleanup I needed. I was impressed at the quick response I received it was almost immediate. Unfortunately I was informed that they are on the east side of Tucson and only work on the east side. They recommended someone who might work out I haven't seen their work but if it's nearly as good as the limited customer service I received I'm sure you'll be pleased. read more

Fast turn around and able to complete the job in the amount of time they've estimated and for fair price. Will definitely consider re-using their service when the time comes! read more

This was the first time I used 'Request a Quote' on yelp. I posted that I needed a couple of trees trimmed and got a response in less than an hour. We talked on the phone, I texted a picture of my tree, and setup an appointment for a quote the next day. He walked my yard and had quote immediately. The next day, he performed the work while I was at work, texting me pictures of the finished product. As you can see for from the photos, he did an amazing job on my most troublesome tree. The others were small trim jobs to keep them off of the roof. If you need this kind of work done, you can't go wrong with this business, very professional, quick, and quality work. read more

I had a tall tree in a very small yard that had intrusive roots above the ground causing risk of tripping and damage to the block wall and possibly the foundation. Ralph Levon was very responsive and immediately came to remove the tree, grind down the roots and grind down an old stump that had sprouted branches. He and his crew were very professional, safety conscious and did an amazing job! I could not have asked for better service or a higher quality result! I would recommend this service to anyone who needs a tree of any size in any location without hesitation!! Great job!! Sandy Tucson, AZ read more

Ralph was great, responded right away and came out when he said he would. Did a great job pruning one of my mesquite trees. Would recommend.

We hired Affordable Yard and Tree Service to remove a tree stump in the middle of our backyard. Ralph and his crew arrived in a timely fashion. The project was completed above and beyond our expectation at a reasonable price. Our barbecue area and patio were protected from dust and wood chips. His helper, Em, cleaned up our backyard better than it was when they arrived. So pleased and would highly recommend! Satisfied customer who will use them again soon! read more

A huge prickly pear cactus on my property fell over and I needed it removed. I don't have a landscaper, so I called Affordable Yard & Tree Service and Ralph called me back within a couple of hours. To my surprise (and delight), he was able to come out the following morning. He and his team removed the cactus (all couple hundred pounds of it) and the only-slightly-smaller cactus it fell on and broke. They worked quickly, cleaned up after themselves, and were super-friendly. The price was reasonable as well. I know their specialty is tree work, and I'd recommend them for that and anything else they do. read more

An old, tall Yucca plant fell over on Labor Day and was also hanging a little into the street. Ralph was responsive and reasonably priced to remove the plant and he and his team - his mom - came right out and took care of it quickly and efficiently. He also took out a dead tree while he was at it, and I appreciated the keen eye he had in scouting out the rest of my yard for any other potential problems. Thank you, Ralph! read more

I had some wind damage to a eucalyptus. The crew came out the very next day and cleaned it up efficiently and thoroughly. They also took out two stumps that were very firmly rooted. They left the area looking very neat and like nothing had ever happened. As for the affordable part, I agree, the price was very reasonable. Highly recommended! read more

So happy with my yard service done by Ralph and his team. If you are looking for great service with a great price on the east side call affordable yard and tree service! They were able to give me same day service on grinding oleander stumps in my yard. Quick efficient and they even cleaned up the yard a bit for me when they were done. read more

Best tree prices in town. Delivers in his promises! Call Leon!

Was very pleased with the work they did. Professional and efficient, they took out a large agave from my yard and charged a lot less than I had been quoted elsewhere. I noticed they cleaned up several other things while they were there as well. I will be recommending this company to friends and family! Update: Just had them do my palm trees and they look amazing! Very natural and clean. My whole yard looks better. Will continue to highly recommend this company! read more

I have not actually used Ralph's services yet, but I plan to. After sending him some pictures of mistletoe in my mesquite, he said he could do it now, but it would be easier and less costly to hold off on cutting it out until the time of season when the tree is dormant. I believe when you have someone who is not looking to make an immediate sale, it speaks to the integrity of the business and I do plan on calling him back when the time is right. read more

I had similar experience to a few others. Ralph failed to show twice and called to reschedule 4 times. He never actually showed up and I'm giving up on him. There are certainly businesses in Tucson who actually want my business. read more

Awesome job cleaning up the yard! Quick response to initial inquiry. Work completed as promised.

I had a five star experience with Ralph and his crew. I'll be calling him again! I usually take care of my own yard, but I called Ralph because I had been immobilized for about 6 months. Needless to say, my yard was pretty overgrown. I called Ralph and he came early the very next day. When he arrived, we spoke about what I wanted to have done. He did a brief survey, and then gave me a quote, which I thought was fair. After that, his crew went to work. They finished in about 3.5 hours. I'm very happy with his work, his crew, and his price. Highly recommended. read more

Excellent response and service. Ralph and his crew trimmed two large Arizona Ash trees and took down one that was diseased. Very tricky access to trees but he took the time to assess and then brought in the right equipment to get the job done. Clean up was excellent. Racked and blew out all debris and then even scrubbed driveway to remove stump markings. Highly recommend. read more

Top notch service! I sent an email requesting a quote and had a response within the hour. We set a time for the following day but later in the same day, Ralph contacted me to ask if we would like our trees removed then since he had time in his schedule. They were professional, thorough, and fast! Highly recommended and we definitely will call them again for future services. read more

Ralph did an awesome job! I needed a good sized pine tree stump removed and he showed up within 45 minutes! Got the job done quickly and looks like nothing was ever there! He cleaned up and also placed the left over mulch in our trees! Price was very reasonable, I highly recommend Ralph and will be contacting him for any future jobs. read more

This was a wonderful company to work with. When I called and told Ralph what I wanted done he said he was in my area and would be right over. He was at the house within half an hour, gave me a wonderfully affordable bid and did the work while he was here. Our palm trees look GREAT and Ralph and his partner are fast, friendly and very efficient. They also do an amazing clean up job when they are done. I would highly recommend them to anyone at any time. read more

Ralph and his crew are very good, work quickly and are affordable. I recently had an emergency in the form of a downed tree that fell onto my home. Ralph responded the next business day, early morning and cleared away all the limbs and took care of other storm related damage. I'd recommend Ralph and his service to anyone needing either routine maintenance or help in an emergency! read more

Never having had tree work done, I can't speak the the "affordable" part, but it seemed reasonable. I got a quote and they were here the same day. The work was done well and quickly. They hauled away all the debris (including some boxes that needed to be recycled). I would definitely use them again for tree service and for yard service. read more

You're looking at yard and tree services on Yelp because your yard is overgrown and you're wondering if there's anybody who's worth the money to get it all cleaned up for you. Well, there is. It's Ralph and his Affordable Yard & Tree Service. This is an update to the review I wrote early last year. I had Affordable come out again today, now that the monsoons have knocked all the mesquite beans loose from the trees, and the storms have made a mess of the edges of my yard. Ralph asked me how early was too early to show up -- it's hot out, you know? I told him 6:30am was fine by me, and he was here right on the dot. I know it's hard to figure out which company to call for yard work. I'm updating this review with 5 stars again to help make your decision easier -- this company is still my #1 choice. read more

EXCEEDED expectations! Ralph and his 3 man crew got the job done within a very efficient timeframe and worked with our budget (and more). We rented a house with a yard of two big trees that had to be trimmed and removal of weeds all over. Response to quote via Yelp was polite and professional. Thanks again and will definitely call back for future needs. read more

Ralph was very responsive to my needs and did a great job. Spent a lot of time figuring the best outcome of my big 30 foot high Palo Verde that lost a sizable branch due to inclement weather. After all the trimming, my tree looked great even with the big branch now off and managed to leave me some shade for my BBQ. Left the backyard cleaner than when he started hauling everything away in a proper manner, and managed to strategically trim the tree avoiding to go into the neighbor's backyard. He was in and out in less than 3 hours. I will now not neglect this tree and call Ralph back to trim it before nature rules the backyard, would recommend to anyone. read more

Had a large cactus fall during the monsoons and it took out half a tree on the way down. I waited two weeks for someone else to come take care of the issue before calling here, and they came out same day and took care of everything at a fair price. Huge relief. read more

Tree-mendous! Ralph, the owner, responded same day, with quote. On the appointed day( which was only a few days after the quote), he arrived on the dot and went into action. The palm trees in question were trimmed professionally and all debris cleaned up. A feat considering they were next to the pool. I was concerned about that, but Ralph made sure nothing ended up in the water. Everything looks great and he also hauled away a pile of debris that had accumulated in the yard. Price was very reasonable too. Will definitely use him again. read more

Excellent work, courteous service and fast with the right equipment to do the job. Ralph was here within an hour of my query on Yelp for a quote. He worked with me on the estimate and went the extra distance to clean up his work and do a few extras for me. Highly recommend this tree service. read more

Ralph came out same day! Did a fantastic job! Great prices! Super happy with the work he did!

Great company! I called them in the morning, and they showed up within a half hour. They advised me on a small tree that looked like it was dying and we agreed it needed to go. Then the did a general clean-up of the whole yard, and it's the best it has looked in the 3 years I've lived here. I was going to schedule monthly maintenance, but they advised that I didn't really need it, it would be better to just get service when needed. Very honest of them. I've been looking for someone to be my "regular" service, and I've finally found them! read more

Top notch service from this business ! Needed a Sweet Acacia Tree in front yard, topped and thinned out. Ralph and Dennis showed up the same day I called for an estimate and took care of business. Also, cleaned up everything afterwards. They have all the right tools and equipment to take care of your job. Also, licensed and insured. They are located on the East Side of town, so that was great for us. I will definitely call them again for any tree or yard service. Excellent !!! read more

Ralph's work is worth every penny! I have used Ralph twice now and I'm very impressed! I highly recommend him. Michele N.

Affordable Yard & Tree Service did an amazing job on my palm trees. I will definitely use this company again and have already recommended them to my coworkers. Great job guys!!! read more

I called on a Sunday and talked to Ralph to try and get a quote to have a general yard clean up prior to selling our home. Dried weeds and raking is really all the yard needed to look decent. Ralph indicated he was pretty busy but could come on Wednesday morning. I agreed and gave the address. By Thursday I still hadn't heard back nor did I see anyone stop by the house. Assuming I had missed seeing him come by I decided to call and see what his quote was. Good thing I did because not only did he not show up but he proceeded to tell me he was pretty busy (again) and that our home wasn't really in his desired work location. Basically I had waited 4 days for a quote from a person who never really wanted the job in the first place. When I told him he should have let me know that ahead of time, because I could have called another service, he changed his mind and said well I can give you a price over the phone. He hadn't even seen the yard but he was going to quote a price? His price was $300! To use a rake and pick up dried weeds? I told him never mind. He had no idea how large or small the yard even was. I ended up using the neighbor's yard people who charged $200 including trimming the 3 mesquite trees. Thanks for nothing "Affordable Lawn Service" read more
