The city decided that the trees in my Mom's yard were a hazard and that they had to come down. Two 75"+ pine trees. I called Q&T and they stopped by and checked the trees and we discussed how best to drop them. Chris knew what he was doing. (I know because I used to do this work back in Flagstaff). We set a time and day and the price was very good. Chris and his crew were right on time. They performed the work safely and quickly. I dealt with Chris, which is the owner, but he will lie and say he's works for somebody. At the end of the day, the guy just lies all the way around. he will inflate his cost for insurance fraud. My insurance company flagged him for him trying to charge 28K for three trees and some debris. He lied and said that the insurance company will cover it, which they absolutely did not cover all that after flagging him. But they did try to reach out and get an explanation, but he wouldn't take their calls or call back. unfortunately, he will blow smoke up your butt. I trusted him, but after the fact, I was getting screwed. Now he's coming after me for 24K the balance. I've been getting estimates by other tree companies and nowhere near his cost and they could not believe he charged that much. The man has a lawyer in his back pocket, not his first rodeo.... I was initially impressed with Chris from Q&T Services. He was on time and his equipment looked to be first class and in good working order. His crew knew their jobs and moved with purpose and quickly dispatched a large Acacia tree in my front yard. Chris himself undertook the job of grinding the stump and at some point, while a significant portion of the stump was well above grade level, he shut off the grinder and claimed equipment failure. Repeated requests both in writing and in person asking that he return to finish grinding the stump were met with indifference. While Q and T tree service arrived on time to remove my tree, they did NOT complete the job. They carelessly moved my pots, removing the driplines into the pots, and left without putting anything back. I called Chris to tell him that I was too old to move all those heavy pots myself and that they needed to be watered by their drip lines because of the extreme heat, and he promised to return the next day. Although I waited all day, they never returned. I spoke to Chris and he promised to come out with his whole crew the next day and never came. They destroyed all the plants in my two raised bed gardens,, broke my flagstone and dropped branches on my new roof. They overcharged me, I have now also lost many of the plants in my pots. and I will NEVER call them again! read more

Chris came to our home to give us an estimate to remove a large tree from our front yard. His estimate was affordable so we also decided to include removing 2 trees from our backyard. His crew was in the area and arrived 1 hour later. They were quick and efficient removing 3 trees, stumps removed and yard cleaned up so that it is impossible to see where the trees had been. February 2021 I hired Chris to trim 4 trees. The job he did is not satisfactory. I have called him to come and look at the trees which now need trimming not even a year later. The African Sumac has multiple limbs laying on my roof. And growth hanging down from the tree that is so low I have to duck under the branches. Small limbs have broken off on the Palo Verde tree which should never have been left on the tree to begin with. The broken limbs are still hanging there. The Olive trees were in need of the new sprouts growing from the base to be cut off. And the Olive trees were not thinned out enough. He said his job would last 5 years which is not a reasonable statement for any tree trimmer to say. I assumed wrongly that Chris was a certified Arborist, but his work does not show that he is a professional Arborist. I felt he should at least come and look at the trees and discuss what can be done. read more
