We used them before when it's was Anthony's tree service and they did a great job in the past, but they changed names and obviously they are no longer a great tree service. I had the girl come by and give me an estimate, we had an appointment set up three weeks out. Well today is the day......and they didn't show up. I'm really pissed off right now. We've called 4 times between 8 AM and 10am and they are not picking up their phone. Do yourself a favor and don't even bother wasting your time on calling them. After posting this review, they called my husband back and said they just got his voicemail. She told us they would arrive between 12-1pm. When the crew came they told my husband that they were taken off of another of another job to come to our house. They did a great job. So I'm changing my 1 Star to 4 stars. read more

This is the worst tree compan. They did a terrible service they take advantage of older single females take the money and go. They used a saw that the chain needed to be tossed out would not return any calls have a dump for the office looks like a junk yard. I was supposed to get a call back from both owners and you guessed it no calls. They robbed the bark no 3 point cuts to get the weight off the branches chainsaw cuts where it's not to be so make sure you do your research if you want to be taken advantage of older single they will steal your money and not return calls. read more

David provided an estimate for 2 very high, Chilean mesquite trees, riddled with mistletoe, thorns and dead branches. He explained the plan to get me to love the trees again! They have to thin out many branches and cut a limb. The morning of, they let me know when they arrived. They went to work. When I saw the trees I was very pleased. Today Trees R Us took down a huge saguaro cactus which was dying. This cactus was in our backyard right by our patio and up against our wall. His crew arrived on time and did a fabulous job. It was a really arduous task and his crew, which was lead by Mike, were all in sync with each other through out the entire process. When they left everything was clean and looked better than before they arrived. I give them 5 stars and gladly recommend them for trees and/or cactus. David is the person who came to our home and gave us an estimate. He is very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. read more

and here is another bad review, trees R us said they would plant a large Palm tree for us and do another other small job for us. They charged us 500 dollars and said most of that was for the tree. When they came back with the tree it was a very small tree that anyone can buy at Home Depot or Lowes for maybe 50 dollars!! They said it was the biggest tree they could find at the time. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Toni gave us an estimate for $620 to trim our Palo Verde and clean up of debris. Stated they would have to use an bucket truck to get the job done which was included in the "estimate". Come the day of the job, they don't notify they're here and start cutting the tree at 6:45am, when I go outside to talk with them one of the guys is smoking, they kicked out all our path lights and they didn't need to use the bucket truck. In total they were here for 25 mins, won't lower the "estimate" to account for not needing the bucket truck. Horrible, unprofessional and just know that they'll over estimate the work needed. read more

A woman from this company called to tell me a neighbor had arranged for them to have a tree that had fallen in the storm onto my yard. I tried to talk to her for a minute and she all but hung up on me. She was so abrupt and so rude, I would never use them or recommend them. Vey rude. Very unfortunate. REGRET I EVER CALLED THIS COMPANY They were hired to trim palm trees and trim/lace a large mesquite tree. They did a good job on the palm trees but the price was sky high. (everyone else was so busy they couldn't schedule for more than a month) But the mesquite... They came out and they had a short, very tanned guy with dark hair attack the tree with a chain saw. I'm a late sleeper so it took me a minute to come out and speak to them so it was already started, I mean BUTCHERED, by the time I got out there. The kid who was doing it was completely rude. I had to yell over the noise of the chain saw to get him to stop. When he did, I got the "look lady, I'm following my work order and the boss is here.", then he continued to cut. I had to continued to yell over the chainsaw noise at him to stop and he started cursing at me, yelling at me that he has two years of education and I don't understand what he's doing, and he's not answering to me. Well, guess what buddy, I'M THE ONE WHO CALLED YOU OUT AND UNFORTUNATELY CHOSE YOUR COMPANY. Who do you THINK you answer to? But he wanted to be a know it all punk straight out of the gate, completely unwilling to listen or accept he was doing a horrible job on the tree. THE TREE IS A SPLIT TRUNK AND IT'S NOW SCARRED UP AND DOWN EVERY LIMB, HE CUT OFF ALL OF THE LIMBS RATHER THAN THIN IT, LACE IT AND CUT THE LARGE BRANCHES FROM AGAINST THE BUILDING. The tree was stripped of of ALL of it's limbs except at the very tip top, LIKE THE PALM TREES! The branches are now bare and HORRIBLY SCARRED, AND NEIGHBORS ARE ASKING WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO THE TREE. THE DAMAGE WAS ALREADY DONE. The kid went and got his supervisor, Mike, who said he is an owner of the company, and said he would discipline this guy. I don't care if he did or didn't get disciplined. I won't ever call them for more tree butchering or recommend this company to anyone else. Not even sure Mike is an owner. He told me he never heard of "tree lacing" before. Really? But your a tree trimming company. I will say that he tried very hard to smooth it over, but the tree was already cut and looked horrible, and it STILL does. They tried to console me that the tree would look better after monsoons but it DOESN'T. Ive never seen or imagined that a "professional" tree company would do this to a tree. I've planted trees in every home I've lived in or owned since I was a kid. The tree they were here to "take care of" was one I planted just under 25 years ago, and tended to it, and have paid other professional tree companies to cut away branches from the building. The tree is 2 and 1/2 stories tall and it was healthy. Now this majestic, loved, giant tree is about the UGLIEST tree in Tucson. I apologize to it every time I walk out the door. read more

I scheduled three weeks out for a job with Trees R Us. The morning of the job at 5 am the scheduler texted to inform me that the crew leader ended up in the hospital and that the job would have to be rescheduled for the next day, first thing in the morning. I said fine and waited until the next morning. When 7 am the next day rolled around, I called the scheduler and asked where the crew was. She said she'd have to call the crew to see where they are. I then was told the crew was two minutes away. Then, I received a call from the crew leader who said the crew was at the wrong address. I provided the correct address. The crew leader says they'd be there in 30 mins. I said fine. Then, the scheduler informs me that the crew could not arrive until that afternoon because they were across town, apparently working on another job. At that point, I said forget it, cancelled the job, and asked for a refund.I simply concluded Trees R Us did not really care for my business or my time. read more

Run don't walk from the tree butcher's of Tucson. Trees R Us took a 20' tall Oleander down to dirt, stubble, non existent vegitation, only ONE example of incompetence. Tons of chain saw welders who attack your yard without even a knock on your door OR a quick review of what is being handled. This company said they would guarantee their work however, when I made several attempts to have them come remove the tree that began growing back, they started screening my calls and setting up dates to come back but never did. Very unprofessional especially since my father is a retired veteran and lives on a limited budget. They essentially took his money and ran.
