I needed a dead tree taken down, Monstrosity arrived on time and took care of that, plus some dead shrubs, practically in the blink of an eye. Ashley, Robert, and the work crew were totally professional and efficient, and they didn't gouge me on price. I would hire them again without question, and totally recommend them. read more

Hit them up for a tree removal quote, guy and his crew came out and gave me a verbal quote. After some back and forth, I accepted his quote to do some trimming and prop the tree up to try and save it. I asked when he would be available, he stated "I'll come get it when I swing by that area" I assumed he meant later in the day or even the next day. This was Thursday so I didn't expect it right away or over the weekend, followed up via text the next week to see if he's still available. Was told No after not hearing anything back for 3 days. Overall. The experience was lacking professionalism. After his original verbal quote over the phone, I told him I already scheduled another company to look at it the following day for an additional quote and he immediately lowered the price. Makes me wonder the integrity of the first quote. read more

Monstrocity Tree Service just completely removed our 35 foot tree and stump, leaving the area in pristine condition. They are courteous and professional as well as reasonable in price. They even dug out the huge side-roots that were taking over our backyard. It's also fun to watch how fast and efficiently they work as a team. We've used them 10 times in 10 years and never been disappointed. read more

What to say... My poor palm trees that i inherited with the house were in horrible shape and i was afraid of the HOA doom letter. So i called Monstrosity. I had seen them from time to time around the neighborhood and i knew the work would be terrific... I called and this scruffy longhaired guy my age showed up. His bid was right in line with what i expected so i shook his hand and the deal was sealed. He said he was busy but would fit us in asap. Not 36 hours later i came home from errands and didn't even recognize my own house. We settled the bill and i now have the most enviable palm trees on my street! AWESOME!!! They were fast, clean, really really awesome and i actually met most of the crew before they headed out to the next home. Seriously people, ignore the karens on yelp. Monstrosity KNOWS what they're doing, they give GREAT value for the buck, and they are FAST. They actually picked up stuff from around the yard that wasn't even theirs to dispose of. This is a bargain and very worth it. My go-to company for tree service from now on... read more

Highly recommend Monstrosity Tree Service. Living out on the edge of no man's land Aka Green Valley, getting anyone for any kind of service is impossible like my sick tree issue is difficult. I had called 3 Prior local landscaping and tree services prior to finally finding Monstrosity Tree. From speaking with the their customer service representative on Friday I was hopeful I finally contacted someone who would help me. Saturday morning the team was here, analyzed my tree and told me how they recommended treating, the cost and what to expect. Perfect! Highly recommend this company! My tree is on the mend. Awesome work gentlemen. read more

GET A QUOTE IN WRITING, i got a price and was said they would use the Bucket Truck so the price reflects this, so they show up a day and a half late, two guys with a ladder and chainsaw, where's the truck?? ok so tried to negotiate lower price , no deal, the discussion got a little heated and a worker lunged at as to hit me, i couldn't believe it, i told them to leave , forget it, this company stood me up twice in'22 now this , i do not recommend this company nor will i ever call again, Look around there's other tree trimming services read more

Can't say enough good things about this company. Left message Thursday night, call returned Friday morning and an estimate was given within an hour. Work scheduled for Saturday morning, My large mesquite tree was growing over our roof and needed a major trim. Ashley explained in great detail what they were going to do and why. After the work the crew cleaned up every last branch. Very knowledgeable, professional an reasonably priced. And my tree looks fantastic. read more

Monstrosity Tree Service was at a neighbors removing trees two days ago. Walked over and spoke with Robert about removing our two Mulberry trees. We scheduled it for today. They made short work of taking down two huge trees and stump grinding them. Cut some up for firewood for us and hauled all debris away and cleaned up nicely. Only took 3 hours. They were professional and rates were very reasonable. Would definitely recommend them. read more

I called Robert @ Monstrosity Palm Tree three different times in the spring of 2016 relative to coming out to my house in Green Valley and giving me an estimate on "scalping" or "shaving" my date palm; each time he said that he'd be there and set a day and time----and each time he not only failed to show-up, but never called or got back to me that he couldn't/wouldn't show up. After the third time, Robert never bothered to contact me or otherwise follow-up. Ultimately, I used Danny Johnson @ Johnson's Palm Tree Service here in GV to do the work and was very pleased with the result. Previously, about 2012, I had used Robert/Mostrosity to trim my date palm. That work was "okay"----not excellent, but not poor, either. My recommendation is to seek out some firm other than Monstorsity should you need palm trimming &/or shaving done. read more

I needed four palm trees pruned and cleaned up. We purchased a house last fall and the trees had not been pruned since 2008. They were full of dead and dying fronds. Asked another landscape contractor for a referral and he said to call Robert the owner of Monstrosity Tree Service. I called him yesterday. He asked that I text him pix of trees and address. He quickly called me back with a cost and I scheduled the work for today. The guys showed up at 7 am, did a beautiful job and were gone by 9. The trees look terrific and they completely cleaned up all the debris - even blowing off the patio. Amazing. I've already hired them to prune two more trees. read more

Finished in a little over 2 hours. Easy to deal with, friendly, competent. I will certainly call Monstrosity again! read more
