fantastic company. I have used them for many years. The owner, Jorge is so great to work with. besides doing yard maintenance they have had them customized and landscaping our back yard in one house and a front yard where we are now. The irrigation system was so old he had to pull out all the drip and irrigation box. He worked with our HOA to expand a wall to give us more room. I would refer him to anyone that expects wonderful work and ideas. If you have a problem he is right there. read more

George and his guys did a fantastic job on my paver patio. Communication was good. Workers worked hard and got the project done within the given timeline. The estimate he gave was fair for both of us. The result is a beautiful patio around my pool and backyard. Highly recommend! read more

10/10 would recommend Jorge and Co w/ Cardinal Professional Landscaping. I could not have asked for better. 1) responded quickly to my request for quote; 2) scheduled estimate for next day; 3) was not only on time but early; 4) Just a genuinely nice person, as were his coworkers when they came to do the work; 5) Got the work done well, within the estimated cost range, and ahead of schedule time wise; 6) Again, just a genuinely nice person who is clearly trying to do right by people. read more

I had the same experience as many other reviewers. Came out and did initial job and payment was promptly paid in full. Afterwards, I discovered an issue that was not completed correctly per the original job and payment. Was essentially ghosted after that point. I had to hire another outfit (additional expense) to complete the work that Cardinal had been paid to complete. Would not hire this company again and I do have a need for recurring service. read more

Jorge was so incredible to work with, we will definitely be calling him for future projects. We wanted a grass area for our pups and also to extend our back porch. Our yard is massive and a complete blank slate, but Jorge brought my vision to life. His quotes beat out the competition and his work is top notch. Thanks again Jorge! read more

I live in Marana and it's very difficult to get any service person to respond. George responded immediately and came out the next day (a Saturday) to give me an estimate. He (and his crew) were out here early Monday morning and got the job done. I needed a large tree trimmed, (monsoons are here) 4 bushes shaped up, 2 agave plants planted and a huge cleanup of the pods from the tree. Excellent work and a very fair price. I would definitely use them again in the future. He really knows his craft! read more

Timely and quick response for an estimate. Great price for what I needed done and amazing service planting some citrus trees and removing old and dead vegetation. Would highly recommend then to anyone! read more

George/Jorge trimmed my trees and bushes and pulled out a few bushes that I requested. He sprayed Pre-emergent for me and left the entire property beautifully neat and clean. And, he did everything requested at the price he quoted. I would definitely recommend him to all. read more

Cardinal came the same day and completed an estimate. It was so reasonable I didn't get other estimates. They worked quickly, efficiently, and professionally. They respected my wishes. I even added one other thing to the job and they happily accommodated me. It's hard to find this kind of respect and professionalism at any cost. The value here was extremely good. read more

Jorge and his crew did an outstanding job on our project. We needed to have our entire irrigation system taken out and replaced and we wanted to have our backyard landscaped (after 19 years) and contacted several companies. A couple of them ignored us after an initial call while another came and gave us an outrageous estimate for the irrigation system while promising us all sorts of things for the backyard (without taking any measurements). Jorge called us and promisedto come out the same day and when he arrived, he looked at everything, gave us an estimate we understood (and explained how the other company was upcharging and selling us work on the irrigation system that didn't need to be done) and took the time to listen to us, provide suggestions, and do everything we expected from a professional providing an estimate. He and his team came earlier than originally expected (which was welcome), worked all day, and even stayed longer than expected each day just to be sure nothing was left undone. Jorge took suggestions during the project and was able to add and modify as the project was moving along. We are totally satisfied with the end result and can now finally enjoy sitting out in our backyard without feeling like we are sitting in an unfinished yard. He even came back out when we had a small leak in the irrigation system and fixed it right away (showing us where the leak was and how he fixed it). We are completely happy with everything from start to finish. read more

Jorge and his team are terrific not only do they trim and clean my patio but check my irrigation each time they come, which is very important. The quality of their work is excellent and they will sweep if you prefer rather than use the blower. read more

After finally getting me on the schedule for monthly yard maintenance they failed to show. "forgot". Then when they did come they charged me an extra $150 for weed spray and an additional $150 to remove a pile of branches (which I hadn't agreed too). In the end I was charged $450 for a monthly yard maintenance visit. I complained about the cost I was told their rate is $150 per hour! I guess the standard monthly service is only an hour, mostly using a blower on the patio. No bushes were trimmed. That would probably be extra. Most of the dust from the blower ended up in the pool. Everything is an extra charge. I wouldn't recommend. read more

Corrected Review This is the same Bob who gave Cardinal Professional Landscaping a 1 rating on 10/17/2024. I could not get in touch with them for a while & then went to war with them. It appears my computer problems were the reason I could not get in touch with him. When I got in touch with Jeorge & Co, they immediately addressed & corrected ALL my issues, Exactly on the Friday he said they would. My evaluation of Cardinal Professional Landscaping NEEDS to be changed from 1 to a 5 stars, with "I will recommend them to anyone"!!! Thank You Very Much, Jeorge R & Cardinal Professional Landscaping for your quick response & repairs. read more

Cardinal Landscaping has been my go to for yard maintenance for many years and has always done an amazing job for a reasonable price. There was an incident a few years ago where they accidentally broke my sliding glass door when their weed eater kicked up a rock - however, they went above & beyond to quickly take care of it and I was more than happy to continue doing business with them. Had this review been written in 2023, it would have been 5 stars. Unfortunately, my attempts to hire them in 2024 have all failed - either no response at all, or a response stating they would check their schedule and get back to me and then they never do so. read more

Very frustrating experience. Made appointments and then missed them. Really poor communication. Would not recommend.

highly recommend working with Jorge and his team! extremely professional, friendly, and excellent value for the work they do. our yard has really persistent weeds, but their team was able to get the weeds right down to the dirt and use an amazing weed killer that keeps our yard looking clean for way longer than with previous attempts. thank you Cardinal Professional Landscapers! you're the best in the biz!! read more

Jorge and his team did a great job laying pavers at the front of my house. I wanted to widen my driveway out by about (20'x10') for more space to park my car. There were also some small cactuses (4) that had to be moved for the pavers and gravel to be relocated as well. Jorge came by the next day and provided a competitive quote that I accepted via email/website. He scheduled me in the next week and the project took about a day and half to complete. He is friendly to work with and he quickly understands what needs to be done. In addition, as a side job, Jorge was able to program my water controller (I could not figure it out, it was set up by the previous owner and had no manual) and he repaired the system that had two major breaks in the lines. Overall, I am very satisfied with his team's work and would highly recommend them for anyone who needs landscaping work done in the Tucson area. read more

Jorge came here to see what the job involved and gave us a fair estimate of cost and an idea of when the job could be done. On the day selected for the job, we were going to be going out of town for a few days. Since he had been here to see the job conditions, we let him know we'd be gone. But, we gave him free rein and asked him to let us know when he was finished and the final price, so we could transfer money to him. We arrived home today and went to check on the appearance of the repair. It looked great! The job site was clean and the repair looked just like it did when new (even better than new). Our job was a repair of pavers that had to be removed when removal was necessary because of excavation. Jorge did the job extremely well and I recommend him highly for just about any landscaping need. read more

We had artificial turf added to our small yard. The stars must have been aligned because from quote to end of work was 8 days. The Cardinal team did an excellent job, and the crew was very professional. We were so thrilled with their work we had them add a small paver area for our grill. We enjoy spending time outside and are really enjoying our new yard. Thanks guys!!! read more

I am very impressed with this company. I requested an estimate for tree trimming. Jorge, the owner, responded right away. I contacted this company through yelp and a time was setup on August 9th to give an estimate. He agreed to do the job the next day at noon. He called the next day on August 10th around 10am to give me a heads up that he would arrive to do the job in a couple of hours. That was 16 days ago. The guy was a no call/no show. Needless to say, I would not recommend this company. read more

Let me start by saying I had a bad valve and my drip system would not turn off and of course it happened on Father's Day! I called a few companies hoping on Father's Day (Sunday) someone would pick up because my irrigation system would not turn off! Jorge at Cardinal picked up and I heard his family in the background, naturally being a father myself I felt bad, he walked me through turning off the valve and said he would come out on Monday, he came out and gave me a great quote, he was back the next day to replace the valve, reset my timer, and trim my tree in the front yard and the rest of my bushes & landscape. If you're looking for a professional family owned local company, please call Jorge he is excellent and very very talented! You will not be sorry!!! Our yard looks amazing!! read more

Hired them for weed removal for our entire property. They did a fantastic job and they even blew our patio clean and leveled our front yard gravel even better than it was before which we didn't even ask for. Owner remembered every thing I asked for after just one conversation and I could not be happier. The price was only a little more than the last place we used to use which closed down but it seemed fair and certainly commensurate with what we expected considering it's been a few years and everything costs more lately. Owner was also very friendly when he visited for the estimate, and we were able to get scheduled almost immediately. Will definitely be hiring Cardinal again next time. read more

I have only good things to say about George and his crew. My husband and I have ALWAYS done our own landscape maintenance, but things got tbusy this spring and our yard was turning into a wreck. I reached out to George for help. He showed up promptly for the consultation; he set a date and quoted a price I could live with. The job he and his crew did was aaaaamazing and I am pretty sure our landscape maintenance days over! Yes! Thanks George! read more

Jorge and his team of landscaping ninjas blew us away with their professionalism and the sheer volume of amazing work performed over the course of two days. George and his team saved some young pistache trees that fell over during the recent monsoon storm and helped clean up/de-weed our front and back yards. We are very happy with the work that they did. I called Cardinal Landscaping because of the good reviews. Unfortunately, we made and appointment and were stood up two times. The first time George texted and apologized, and rescheduled for the following day at the same time. No problem, I get it things happen. The next day, again no show. And, no text. So, now I'm just frustrated and have wasted a week. So, back to the drawing board trying to find a reliable landscaper in Tucson. read more

We hired Jorge and Cardinal Landscaping to do a couple of projects in our backyard--a tree removal, some flagstone patio repair, and paver path from the front driveway to a paver patio in the backyard. Jorge was great, even when we made some last minute changes to the original plan. Everything came out beautifully! The paver path/patio is awesome--it came out so much better than we had even imagined--and gives us significantly more useable space in the backyard. Before they even left, I was coming up with more projects that I'd like to hire them for again. read more
