They. Were. Terrible. Our courtyard looks like a war zone. Our garden became overgrown last year -- our previous landscapers left the business due to employment issues and we were struggling to find another service provider. We wanted our overgrown plants thinned and trimmed back. Instead, they were razed. We asked to have two volunteers removed. Instead, they were just cut back -- and the enormous roots were left for us. We paid for thoughtful service -- and instead, a bunch of idiots with high powered weed whackers turned up and destroyed our garden. They were a disaster. I was so excited to come home from home and find our courtyard looking nice -- and now I am gutted because it looks terrible. Do.Not.Hire. Oh -- and after I sent an email complaining, I received a reply saying that what we had gotten was what we had agreed to. What a crock. No one would have agreed to the disaster they left. read more

I am disappointed and sad. I was looking for a company to do pavers for my small yard. My parents had all terrain landscape do there backyard a few years ago, Dave the owner was really nice, and they did a great job on my parents backyard. I went to All terrain landscape because of the job they did on my parents yard. someone named Glenn came out to look over my yard and the e mail I got today from Glenn was "because this is a very small job we will be high on our number." This company wants to charge me around $2,400to do some pavers in my yard. I know the owner Dave and really wanted them to do my yard but unless they go down in price I won't be able to afford that. Update: spoke with Dave the owner who pretty much told me he can only go down in price to 2,000 because it's a small yard and he has to make money off of it. Also stated he is busy and pretty much doesn't have time to do a small yard. I do not recommend these ppl I'f you have a small yard. They will charge you more. Things started out well with this company. Although I was leery, due to several horrible experiences. With previous yard care companies. So to cut to the chase. I signed the contract with All Terrain. Something I personally wasn't really liking but it's the only way they do business apparently. The contract is a year long btw. First yard care maintenance was fine. The second was too. I began having issue with communicating with Ruben. Who is pretty much one of the conduits who tells the crew what to do, so on and so forth. I brushed it off and tried to overlook it. Then issues became more noticeable. Like my irrigation system I wanted fixed by having new emitters added to the irrigation hoses. There was a big lull in time before that finally got taken care. It annoyed me but once again I overlooked it. I was really trying to keep a positive outlook. Despite my health issues and this whole COVID madness. Just the overall dark mood that is among us all right now in America. I made it clear from the gate what I wanted my yard to look like. Ruben seemed very agreeable. Telling me it could be done. As past companies would always divert from my wishes and pretty much do as they wish. Telling me bushes can only be cut so low. Just a bunch of silly b.s. ! Well my last yard work maintenance was ok except one of my bushes had a big chunk missing from it towards the top. Plus the bush was trimmed uneven. Which tells me whomever trimmed it was rushing and also probably not using a step ladder. I notice the workers all are not that tall either. My two bushes that are oleanders are very tall and I tend to like them shorter. The one next to the messed up bush with the chunk missing was also crooked. I went through a back and forth with Ruben. Via messages (email). I also requested a refund if the job was not going to be finished. He finally agreed I could receive one but as a check only. Claiming they didn't have "access" to refund the money back to my debit card. Even though my debit info should be in their computer. Maybe they don't use computers, who knows (joking). This company is incompetent and lacking in overall professionalism. Avoid them !!! If I could sue them I would but I don't have the money to hire an attorney. Even after pictures were taken of my bushes and sent to me by Ruben. Ruben had the nerve to claim my bushes are fine and they will just grow back. Never acknowledging any wrong doing. A sign of arrogance and ignorance if you ask me. This company claims to have all this experience and expertise but I beg to differ. I'm surprised there's not more bad reviews. The company's owners never reached out to me once to see what was wrong or hear my side of the story. Very suspect. My guess is this check will never come any way. I just see it as more lies. All Terrain Creations of Tucson is garbage. I'm sure they will deny what I'm saying but I'm telling the truth. I'm also gonna take my own pics and add them to this review to prove that the bush was trimmed improperly. Sidenote: My contract was also terminated. That was actually a favor to me so I appreciate it. I was gonna tell them I am not accepting any more service from them anyway. read more

I have to rave about All Terrain Landscape Creations! My front and backyard were in dire need of TLC and a makeover. All Terrain worked with me to help design what I really wanted and to create my special desert oasis. My front yard is complete and is simply stunning! They installed lighting, irrigation, plants, desert rock and gravel. The crew was so professional and organized!! I cannot say enough about this company! We were customers for about 1 year. The reason for the one star rating is a lack of help. Toward the end they would promise to be on time and would not show up at all. This occurred three times. They had too many customers for their labor force and this is a problem that will get only worse. We switched services and so far have much better reliability. read more

I saw three landscaping companies before deciding to use All Terrain. The decision was based on cost, friendliness of the company, and whether the company was on time. All Terrain was superior in all three categories and was the only company who responded in a timely manner and was consistently on time. David, the owner, was fast about communicating any changes in plans and worked with us closely. We had our entire backyard done with fake grass and pavers. Their attention to detail was superb and the quality of their work beat our expectations. We are able to enjoy our backyard much more now. I highly recommend this company! read more

We moved to Saddlebrooke in September of 2019 and were unhappy with our landscaping, front and back. Chaotic and haphazard. We researched landscape design companies and decided to use the services of All Terrain. The design department, led by Glenn, came up with an outstanding plan, incorporating the elements we thought most important in our plants: exclusively desert flora, with a wide variety of colors, shape, size and textures. They also developed a plan for the hardscape- primarily irrigation and pavers we wanted laid down for walks and social areas. The implementation results were outstanding. My last gardener/landscaper had worked for me for 12 years and had put in my last drip system but in the last 2 years his work had become a little sloppy and he had become forgetful and somewhat unreliable and I did not trust him to install a new drip system. I contacted All Terrain about a quote for a new irrigation system, as well as several other irrigation companies, and a gentleman named Howie showed up and walked the property with me and detailed a quote for the complete system. I also contacted several others who also showed up and submitted quotes. I chose All Terrain because of what Howie told me and the speed in which they said the job would be done, in 3-4 days. I thought the price was a little high and asked for a senior discount as I am now 76 years old and they complied with a 5% discount on the bill and a complete maintenance of the lawn after they finished the system install, as agreed to by Dave, owner of the company. Sounded great and I was all in. They showed up on a Monday and started work and it was downhill from there. Gil, the lead contractor went over the property as they started digging and came to me later in the day with an adjustment to the bill of over a thousand dollars Which seemed ok at first but did not take into account the pipe that was quoted on the original estimate, nor did they deduct it from the bill and they did not extend the 5% discount on the overcharges except for one page of items. The installers seemed not to understand the function and installation of the Rachio controller and flow meter which was installed wrong and had to be redone several times to get it to function properly. All of this took about 3 weeks and was still not finished. They dug up the yard and were supposed to replace the Catalina rocks but failed to put them all back in the proper place and left many spots cracked and broken as well as missing some of the plants and trees that required water, all of which had previous emitters going to them. They had to come back and install those which they should not have missed and then tried to charge me for the extra work and parts all of which was covered in the contract. Some of the lighting was damaged and Howie said he would order the parts and fix them, which I am still waiting to get done. They left the front and back yard a mess and it really did need the promised maintenance clean up they promised. Angel and one other guy showed up to do the clean but they spent more time wandering around and dealing with tool failures than they spent working and angel's helper was always walking with a cigarette in his hand smoking. They managed to trim some trees by removing the branches instead of cutting the suckers off them in the front but did not cut any bushes or trim any hedges and did not repair the rocks or sort out the mess, which is still here. They did not even clean out all their cuttings which my wife did several days later after Dave told me that they felt they were finished and had completed their contract. I think they did a terrible job which took more than 3 weeks to finish and was still not done properly. I wanted to engage them for future maintenance work monthly, but after the workers showed up to do that I felt that I could not rely on them and that is after their head of That unit, Chris/Chuck showed up to walk the property and scope out the work. I now wonder what happens if there is a failure on the system in the next year of my so-called one year warranty? All in all this was a terrible experience and I would not recommend this firm to anyone looking for quality and workmanship in lawn care or repairs. read more

About 3 months ago I submitted an online quote to a bunch of Tucson landscapers for connecting my water harvesting tanks to my drip system. They were the only one to respond, taking a few days to respond. Then another week for the receptionist (a very nice lady) and me to coordinate by phone to have a guy named Howard (who was nice enough) to come by and assess. At least 2-3 weeks later (and a few phone calls from me to their office) and they finally emailed me a quote. I was absolutely stunned by the number, but since no other landscaper had responded I thought the job was complicated, and initially we accepted it. But after some talking with my wife we ended up making the best decision of our lives and decided to move the job from the summer to the fall to allow water to fill the tanks. I emailed them back to ask for a postponement of 3 months, and got a very nice email from the owner allowing it. 2 months later after some water was in the tanks I called them again with the quote number, calling them on a Friday morning, I was told by a receptionist (again a very nice lady) that Howard would call me back next week, which I was fine with. Then Monday went by, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning I ended up calling them again. I tell the receptionist that I hadn't received a call back from Howard, she said he would call me back by noon that day, I counted down to noon, then 1, then 2, then 3, I call Howard twice and leave a message saying I needed a call back. It's a month later and they still haven't called me back. So they definitely don't even deserve 1 star. read more

Please be careful with this place. Terribly rude owners, everything that they said they would do did not work out. My wife and ended up spending tons of money on a project that went horribly wrong.
