Would not recommend. They stand around their trucks talking and listening to music more often than they actually work. (Yes I understand it gets hot but it's not just during the summer that they do it.) The trees will go months without getting trimmed. Recently my husband and I just cut them ourselves because the branches hung so low they were scratching everyone's cars. They don't clear any tree branches off property, they just push them to the side and leave them for days at a time. My neighbors and I have asked them repeatedly not to blow dirt and leaves into our carports (1. because the dirt gets all over our cars and scratches them up 2. because it's killed several of our plants.) The only response I've gotten is an eye roll. read more

We have 5 citrus trees, all of which needed trimming by a qualified citrus arborist (not me). Brandon came out to do the estimate. I was glad to learn that he has experience and is the head of the company's tree crew, not a salesman who never worked on a tree. He was easy to communicate with and we quickly agreed on what should be done. On the appointed day Brandon, Ricky and his helper arrived at 7 AM ready to work. We all conferred, Brandon left, and Ricky trimmed the trees. He did a great job. My wife knew exactly how she wanted the trees to look and is happy with the results. Complete Landscaping was recently hired to treat my front and backyard with pre-emergent spray as a preventative measure for weeds after a relatively rainy winter season. Within 2 days after this service was performed, my in-ground plants had died and the leaves were clearly stained blue matching the chemicals sprayed. I was not home during performance of this service as I was not given a time window, but only day reference for the work to be completed. I have multiple security cameras around my property and after viewing the footage during time of service, from the time the company arrived at my property until the departure, was a total of 4 minutes and 33 seconds. The spray technician could be seen dragging the hose from side to side, without regard for the plants in it's path. He missed spraying an entire section. I made several attempts over multiple days to call their office to discuss my dissatisfaction with the service provided and left a voicemail, all during business hours, before finally reaching a live person. The woman on the phone (Alexa?) was incredibly understanding and apologetic stating that they had received a number of recent complaints regarding a particular spray technician's work. She advised that she would share my information with the owners for follow up. A couple hours later, one of the owners, Bill showed up at my home, unannounced around 6pm, stating he was in the area. He surveyed the dead, color-stained plants and advised he would have to check with his crew to determine whether a post-emergent solution had been sprayed which would certainly kill any plant it came in contact with. He assured me someone would give me a call the next day to setup a time to get a plant list for replacement. Nobody called. As I would soon be leaving to head out of town on business, I followed up the next day, again requiring multiple phone calls to reach a live person. I spoke to the same woman who had fielded my call initially who advised that Bill was in a meeting, but would call me once available. I received a phone call back from Bill in which he asked me to email him a plant list and he would have their Install Supervisor pick them up on his next nursery visit and setup a time to replace the damaged plants. As I would be heading overseas, I requested that the Install Supervisor email me an expected service date so I could arrange to have someone available during the install. I received 15 subsequent emails from Bill and the Supervisor discussing difficulty finding the replacement plants, stating that my plants were likely killed by earlier frost damage vs their spray treatment (despite some of the plants being newly planted) and suggesting I could return the dead plants to the retailer for credit per store policy. The majority of these emails were dialogue back and forth between Bill and his employee versus directed at me. Noting the difficulty they were having in finding exact replacements, I advised I would be willing to accept a plant of comparable size and variety for replacement. Bill stated they would only replace with the exact plant damaged even if that meant waiting several months for availability. I stated that I felt Complete Landscaping was operating in an unprofessional manner by including me on email communication between Employer/Employee dialogue vs providing a direct response for when this issue would be resolved and how, as well as the initial hurried service that had caused this issue. Bill further affirmed the unprofessional behavior I had experienced by responding with "Wow. Calm down please, no sense being rude , the chemicals we use are very expensive it's not about how long it takes, we're Replacing only with exact plants you gave us on your list , thank you , maybe you could get the plants and we I'll pay you for them and plant them , " That is not just a snippet of his response, but it's entirety. Customer Service precedence is set by leadership. Given Bill's example, it's no surprise that the service techs lack a duty of care, professionalism and quality in their work. read more

Our neighbor recommended Complete Landscaping to trim our 30 foot tall mesquite tree which was so totally overgrown that some of the branches were practically touching the ground. Brandon and his crew did a great job of trimming and cleaning the tree up. They also cleaned up the mess afterwards so that you would never know they had been here other than the beautifully trimmed tree that remained. Would definitely recommend! read more

This company handles lots of Homeowners Associations. They would rather cut down bushes and trees rather than clean up after them. They cut down a 7-8ft Oleander that was providing greenery and flowers. Their excuse was it took too much time to rake the leaves that it drops. They were told to hand trim the bush but used a chain saw and cut it down to 2 ft. Very very disappointing. Now I look at a 9 ft wall instead. This business doesn't even deserve one star. read more

While I appreciate the fact that they were able to remove a very large tree from my backyard, there was additional work (trimming) on a tree in the front yard that was not completed, despite letting Jon and Karrie know it had not been completed. I was told Jon would be by to check but no one came by so the tree remains untrimmed. Also, one of my irrigation lines was severed during the tree removal and created a large leak in my backyard. I called to schedule a pre-emergent and I was told I needed to wait until the receptionist could ask her supervisor. That took over a week. Then I just asked if I could have my yard treated and serviced, which I was told could be done the following week. Came up the day they were supposed to be there, no service. Called again and was told it was just an "estimate" and they "may" be out the following day. Two days later, I have yet to receive an estimate and I'm done waiting 3 weeks just to get an appointment. They laid out a multi-phased plan to get our landscaping to the look we want. We are now in phase 2. Quality work and customer responsiveness for a fair price. Jason is the best example of this. We recently bought our home. We have an acre and had a lot of work that needed to be done. There was a desert brush as big as a tree and wanted a lot of large weeds removed, trees trimmed and trash removed. Their quote was reasonable. They are very professional and their work is amazing! We have a lot of work that will need to be done still. Things like pavers laid, retaining walls put up, more areas to be cleared, trees to be planted. Scott the crew chief has done an amazing job at our office properties and they also do the common areas at the business park and the Marriott hotel properties next door. The overall appearance from Scotts supervision of the landscape maintenance is top notch as he seems to take a personal interest in how the property is presented. We recently hired Complete Landscape to remove a very large diseased saguaro from our property that was in the midst of fruit trees and 12 foot metal screens. They did an excellent job of downing the cactus without breaking branches off the fruit trees and without damaging any of the high metal screens that were blocking their path to the saguaro. The crew was on time with the correct equipment and did a very good job of cleanup after they finished. Complete Landscaping's workers are professional and know how to saw down a tree, but their boss is a complete FOOL. Even the young men sent here saw that something was awry, and they called him to confirm that our tall, mature, lush mesquite tree was the one that needed to go. He said "yes." So they proceeded to cut it down, rather than the diseased one just 20 feet away. Folks, beware of anyone who will carelessly cut down a healthy tree in the desert! read more
