I've had nothing but good experiences with this company. I first called them when my irrigation wasn't working. I had two separate landscape companies do my front and back yard (I have a larger lot size). Worked fine for a few months, then didn't. Called a different company and he was quoting me like $3000 and said all the pump work had to be redone and wasn't done correctly by the landscaping company, who is a very reputable firm. Robert came out and asked my issues and fixed it on the spot for a very reasonable price. He didn't call the other company a liar (I would), but kind of rolled his eyes at what the other company said to me. I've had Robert come out a few more times since and last visit was Ryan, who was also great. I refer them to anyone that needs irrigation work. read more

They did a good job. I did have part fail and they promised to handle it at no charge.

Horrible service and unprofessional response from the owner Michael. Original price quoted for irrigation work was significantly lower than final cost. Did not provide updates or change orders during the project. When confronted, refused to provide documentation for invoiced work such as location of repairs and materials used. read more

Developed a leak in my drip. Called Tuesday-they were there wen morning 0700. Even the military couldn't be more prompt. Charge was fair, work speedy, technician kind and professional. 100% recommend. My husband said "wow, a company that actually showed on time for once". read more

a horrible website whose AI locks you in to an appt that is impossible to cancel. Their text to confirm an appt that THEY set up will not allow cancelling by me. Don't bother calling as no one answers. STAY AWAY. read more

Fixed a leaking valve for me very quickly. No expensive and got me scheduled immediately.

A GREEN STAR LANDSCAPING is one of the very best we have ever used in all of the 54 years we have owned homes from New Jersy to Oregon and now Tucson. First, the owner is very knoweldgeable, honest, and personable. He knew what our problem was immediately, and within two days had his people on the job with a repair that exceeded my expectations. Now my irragation system will never need repairing again. Thank you so much. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! No stars - they advertise free estimate, this is false. We just were charged $50.00 for "Vehicle & equipment transport cost to job site". This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. The individual who showed up had no idea what needed to be accomplished (even though all the items were listed in the form/questionnaire I filled out). Once at my house they started arguing with us, and since the individual did not speak English well, he face timed his boss. At this point, we just asked him to leave, as he did not want to listen or try to understand what the issue was. This is after I originally scheduled an appointment back in early March and was not contacted after reaching out. I hope that no one else has to deal with the horrible customer service or hidden fees associated with this business. Very disappointed. read more

I have hired Michael to do several jobs on our irrigation system, from replacing the controller to renovating our emitters to fixing a broken solenoid valve. My experience was that he does a great job on the larger projects, but struggled recently with the fix to the broken valve. To be fair, he was having some health problems and had a tech do all the work. It took the tech 3-4 attempts to fix the problem, and he would disappear for several days without informing us of where he left off. Their prices are reasonable and Michael is very knowledgeable on drip system technology. read more

A Green Star Landscape is the best irrigation company I have worked with and I've been on our HOA BOD for over 10 years and my brother manages an international irrigation supply company call center. I've done drip myself for nearly 15 years. Owner Micheal has a horticulture degree from UofA. He is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, professional and was a problem solver for not only our leaky HOA system but how to do repairs in stages to be economical. Manny, our tech, was a joy to work with. Constantly smiling and laughing with yelps of joy when his troubleshooting and valve adjustments solved the issue at hand. Manny installed 7 new valves, 3 ball valves and a master valve for our HOA common space. He worked diligently for over a week and now we not only have no leaks but incase we do spring a leak going forward the master valve he installed is only open for 3 hours so any leak can only waste water 3 hours per day instead of 24 hours. This was brilliant and works like a charm. Further he installed 3 ball valves at each valve box to be able to shut off water to those specific valves. Thus allowing for easy troubleshooting if we have a leak in the future. Both owner Micheal and lead irrigation specialist Manny are some of the highest integrity, friendly, personal and skilled in their field. Look no further. A Green Star Landscape is the best and priced competitively. read more

I am really impressed with my recent experience with this company. I placed my initial phone call to request information and a quote for some work at my large estate. The receptionist was very pleasant, informative and friendly. She got all of my information, relayed that to.owner Michael. Michael called me, listened, agreed to come take a look. After a very thorough diagnosis - they spent almost 2 weeks doing work at my house. The work was done very professionally, by licensed contractors and employees. All work was verified with me, and they came to.check on grass a few times to look for dry spots afterwards. Overall I couldn't have been more impressed. There are definitely less expensive companies/side guys that "do irrigation work", but this company is the real deal, and warrantied their work! Thank you guys; you're awesome read more

A Green Star Landscape in Oro Valley, AZ helped bring irrigation around to my backyard. Michael taught me about how much and how often to water plants, pots, grass. Green Star employees are obviously knowledgeable and experienced in working with complicated irrigation systems. I've learned the hard way using three other groups (Chuck-in-a-truck) who I thought would be cheaper, but in the end, I was ripped off. Until I found A Green Star Landscape, I had a mess of things. Now because I went with A Green Star Landscape my plants are green and I'm happy enjoying my front and back yards! read more

Our irrigation system recently went down and we contacted Mike for his assistance. He promptly scheduled us for a complete evaluation of what went wrong, etc. since our initial meeting, he has installed an entirely new irrigation system that definitely was in order. We are very impressed with his professionalism, prompt service, and the quality of his work. We asked that he return to our property to reassess a different irrigation concern and he was out the same day. It seems that it is more more difficult to obtain reliable, quality service for a reasonable price. I was mildly terrified about the potential cost of the irrigation system, but he was very fair and has followed up on everything that he said he would. Highly recommended! Thanks Mike and Manny for your awesome customer service!! read more

On my list of highly regarded Landscapers, I would have saved myself a lot of aggravation if I would have called Michael Cummins, sooner! Some quotes were outrageous! Michael, replaced valves, fixed wires, leaks, installed new lines and tubeing for half of the other estimates I received. He solves problems with no drama! He is honest, prompt, efficent and shared his Horticulture expertise. I did research on growing plants in Tucson. I learned more through Michael, than most of the information out there. Now I understood what was happening to my plants. I am very grateful to A Green Star Landscape! Thank You, for your professionaism. read more

Had GreenStar come out today. Michael was great. I was struggling with the control box and he explained it to me in a way I understood. While he was here he found that our in ground control for our back yard wasn't shutting off. Really appreciate him and will use GreenStar from now on. read more

I purchased a 20 year old home with an irrigation system that was old and defective. Calling in Michael from A Green Star Landscaping was the best decision. They assessed the current system and identified where it was defective. They repaired/replaced the defective parts and got the system up and running perfectly. The cost was very reasonable and it was clear to me that they were more interested in keeping me as a customer then in trying to squeeze me for more profit from the one job. I highly recommend this company for any irrigation needs. read more

A Green Star Landscaping was hired by our HOA to revamp our 30+ year old irrigation system. He did a great job! His efforts dropped our water usage from over 6 million gallons annually to 2.5 million. He worked very well with Tucson Water's rebate program to save us thousands of dollars. Both of these efforts saved us enough money to easily afford their very fair fee. Thanks, Mike. read more

Thank you! Just moved in and the drip system had been shut off since the previous owners left. We got it running, and it wouldn't stop. Couldn't even find where the valves were buried. No instructions. Michael, the owner, came out, found the problem, gave us an estimate, and in fact was able to fix it at a much lower cost than anticipated. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone with a drip system, which is pretty much anyone in Tucson. read more

Thank you so much for the new irrigation system you installed at my residence after my 25 year old system was costing me so much money from leaks. Michael came to the house, explained everything that his company would do and even completed the work while I was not there. I returned home to find a professional installation and Michael even made an extra visit to explain what had been done. The job came in under budget and reduced my water bill considerably in the first month after installation. A Green Star Landscape has my highest recommendation! read more
