If my review was based on food alone it would be a 5, much like if my review was based on everything else it would be 1...so meet in the middle. Full disclosure I am a meat eater so use that as you will when I assess the food but I do dabble in all cuisine including vegan. We placed an order at 11am for 1pm pickup only to arrive and have to wait 30 minutes, no acknowledgement throughout the wait until I asked for an update and even then the customer service was a bit lacking. No sorry, thank you for your patience, just sent me on my way. Since I was on lunch from work you can imagine this did not thrill me. Additionally prices on the menu are not what the actual price is, if ordering online the app prices are accurate but not on any of the menus - example: buffalo chicken is posted for $14.00 but actual costs $14.56. Not sure if this is built in sales tax due to the strange amount but they charge tax too. Ok enough complaining, onto the food - if all that prior hadn't occurred and I was judging food alone? Great! I got the buffalo ranch sandwich with fries, if I didn't know ahead of time it was oyster mushrooms I would have just assumed I was eating chicken! Great flavor and filling. Roll could use an upgrade but it managed to hold up. And fresh cut fries are fabulous! Those who also ordered said their food was great too. If they can improve their timing and service then I think they'll be 5 stars in no time. read more

Tried this place last night because I learned about it from @blackbuffalobuylocal on Instagram. Was able to order and pay ahead of time and then pick up which was very convenient. The staff was helpful and welcoming. Food was AMAZING. Had the Niyah Steak Hoagie, the wings and the meatloaf special and everything was so good! I seriously would eat that steak hoagie everyday. The wings were very flavorful and the texture was great! Would definitely recommend! These are the best vegan wings I've ever had. Mostly because they're the only gluten free vegan wings I've found in Buffalo BUT they're still amazing. They are very accommodating with allergies and everything I've gotten from here is so yummy. Even my non-vegan boyfriend likes it! Definitely my new favorite go-to for comfort food. My friend picked up food for us so I can't comment on the interior, but what I do know is this was one of the best meals I've had all year!! We got the Loaded 893 Nachos with impossible meat to split between us three and they were really flavorful with the perfect amount of spicy! The portion was HUGE! There was leftovers when we were done. I got The Jefferson and was blown away by the vegan shrimp. I was never a seafood person and not the biggest fake meat fan so I was a little apprehensive about ordering this but heard so many goods thing I had to just go for it. Really glad I did because I will be getting this regularly! The green sauce on top is to dieeee for. Gotta day, wasn't a huge fan of the fries but everything else was so good that I didn't really mind. Wish I could have tried the cheese steak and fire fries my friends got but guess I'll just have to go back! They said it was really good though. I have been excited to try this place for a while now, finally we went there. The first impression was nice, pleasant decor and good vibe. As we were placing our order the cashier never smiled or talked about the menu...we ordered the Niyah, and the Sting ray burger with one juice, $45.00 was excessive for food we order. We waited normal time 20 minutes. The food, by the description left me imagining something different, I didn't looked at any reviews or photos before I came here, the Hiyah was somewhat tasteless and I didn't see or taste any mushrooms, the home fries were ok. The Sting Ray burger was ok, and the veggies on the side I loved them. I can say that those veggies were the best thing in the whole meal, cooked to perfection and I loved the seasoning / taste. The juice was really good, I went in to try a different one , also really good. The two stars are for the veggies , the juice and the fries. One thing that always leaves happy is that they don't use styrofoam or plastic containers: ) One thing that really upset us was the fact that, we were half way in our meal and the cook came outside and sat on the table next to us and start smoking a cigarette...we felt nauseous and left. read more

I love this place! It's really hard to find authentic fully Vegan spots. Everything I have tried so far is really good. The street tacos are amazing! I love that they use plantains, plus the sweet cilantro sauce is delicious! The Impossible Niyah is where it is at! The hoagie is loaded with meat and oozing with cheese. Tastes like the real deal! The fries are hand cut and a perfect touch to the sub. The prices are a little bit on high side but you are paying for great food. The Sunshine Punch is a must get when they have it available it's soo good! The reason I went with 4 stars is the customer service several times when I have called to place orders the girl who typically answers and is very short and has hung up in the middle of ordering more than once, she had also forgotten minor things like a side of cheese sauce, or to have ingredients removed from the hoagie. When I first walked in it was a very nice clean and bright space. I order the vegan steak sandwich, my aunt ordered the same thing and I ordered the burger for my daughter. The prices were very high almost $40 for two sandwiches. But I was pleased to support the business until I got to the car and opened the container I was very disappointed. Their was no banana peppers on the sandwich and it looked very different my aunt sandwich and my aunt was disappointed as well her sandwich had red and green bell peppers and she was expecting banana peppers that is what was on the menu.. my daughter's burger was very good but overall was not pleased with my visit. read more

I'm always looking for vegan restaurants, and they are few and far between. I was very excited a black female owned business. This place was hopping! We arrived for lunch. It was about a 30 minute wait for the food, but it was very good. We had green monster juices, shrimp tacos and sunshine wrap. All very good. So I only took off a star because the pickup process wasn't the best. We ordered on Grubhub. The initial pickup time was 25-35 minutes, changed to 55-65 minutes on the ride to pick it up, and even then took another 15-20 minutes. They did offer my boyfriend some smoothie towards the end and it was appreciated. That being said it was a Friday and only hoped the reason it was so backed up was because it was that good. And so I'm here to tell you, the food was THAT good. We got fire fries, tacos, an Impossible niyah, and fried green tomatoes. Every dish was amazing. Every dish also had a cilantro sauce on it which was phenomenal. I'd love to know the recipe but I also suggest you keep it a secret because I'll keep coming back to try it. We got the chopped cheese/hoagies as well as the street tacos and shrimp and grits - and it was ALL incredible. We're not vegans, but we adopt a plant based diet often these days. The sandwich was a flavorful, cheesy, and seasoned well. A little light if you're sharing but still satisfying. The streets tacos are fried plantain with sautéed peppers and onions on a 3 flour shells, accompanied by a really yummy cream sauce. Again, do not share lol. I was mad I did, could've eaten them ALL and there isn't enough to share. Shrimp and grits tasted amazing, the grits could have been cooked just a littttttle longer. The restaurant appears to be family run which is incredible, and they're all friendly and professional. My only complaint is no delivery. In the current state of things, it's unsafe and irresponsible to congregate but I understand the owners position as a new business and I hope everyone supports them in a responsible way. Business is VERY clean, btw. Won't be going back until things are a bit safer which breaks my heart, but would love to support via delivery or even gift cards. Very good flavors all around, but the fries were a little soggy (which tends to happen in a takeout container!) I should've taken a photo but the smell was too good to let the food go untouched immediately (who else can relate??) This place is really really great. We ordered the kick ass burgers, and it was delicious. The fries were amazing. My favorite type of fry. Food prep was prompt and without issue. My only complaint is the pricing. A burger and fries cost $20. I know the "vegan tax" causes plant based food to be expensive-- I get it; this was an exceptionally pricey vegan meal, though. It was honestly worth it because it was sooo good, but I know that we won't be able to afford ordering from here often. I would love for this place to be our go-to, but that's not feasible for now. Our food smelled so good in the car on the way home, we didn't wait to dig in to take pics. Our order was ready when the sweet girl taking my order said it would be. The portions were huge. Our order was correct. I got Sweet Salvation, the veggies were perfect and the sauce was so yummy and cooked perfectly for my taste (the greens were a little crunchy but I like my veggies a little underdone). As I stated above, this is literally two meals for me and well worth the price. My hubby got the Impossible Niyah, and ate all of it - which means it was good. He said he really couldn't tell the difference. I also had a couple of bites and can tell you that it was very flavorful, cheesy, and the banana peppers gave a nice tangy kick (but I have never had a cheesesteak so idfk). I honestly wouldn't have stopped eating it if I didn't have my own delicious meal to eat. We also split some Fire Fries but asked them to hold the impossible meat. The food will never be good enough for the poor service. THEY WERE NOT WEARING MASKS IN THE RESTAURANT DURING COVID PANDEMIC! I ordered food for a friend at 6:30, doordash said it would be ready in 15 min. When we get there, instead we are told "something is up with the order" and it will be a bit longer. After a while and asking them where it is or when it will be ready we are constantly simply and carelessly told "soon" as the time quickly approaches to the 8 o'clock curfew. I finally ask the man at the counter where the order is after an hour and a half and he says "i don't know." with an attitude if that wasn't clear. But one thing I don't do is spend money with a business AND accept an attitude. I mention there is curfew in BFLO, and am told "we have curfew too!" by the employees. I was also told "you could have cancelled the order" and "it's a restaurant" as if that makes up for the ample time they had to make a small order of food and the long wait. The sheer carelessness of the entire staff about a law that could literally put their paying customers in jail is the most offensive part of the entire experience. They also never apologized. They forgot that they're not paying us, we are paying them. The woman at the counter also deliberately took as long as possible to put my order in the bag because I complained about it taking long. She also put the bag on the other side of the counter purposefully so I would have to walk to grab it after she bagged it slowly lol, this one's for you, girl. In short, never again. lol. read more
