Shrimp prawns appetizer & jerk cheesesteak

Taste very healthy. Well seasoned and sauced. The cheesesteak could have more Jerk flavor..thanks also for your spectacular customer service and all the extras you offer. The blue magic juice is one of my favorites also of your freshly pressed juice selection

Everything we got was delicious, a bit overpriced than other places but I'm glad it was great. The breakfast 'eggs' were a little bland and I wish they put more seasoning on the tofu, same goes for the cheesesteak, it needed something. The 'cheese' was very watered down to make it more of a liquid but it took away from the flavor. The 'meat' was also missing that signature 'cheesesteak' seasoning. The sliders were perfect and the pancakes were amazing.

I love the food at this place. After I ate here, I was sad that I didn't try it sooner. They have really good vegan alternatives to the meat dishes and as a lifetime vegetarian, it was enlightening for me to try some of them. My friend and I shared the wings and I got ribs as my entree. Needless to say, the portions were so big that I ended up with leftovers which I gladly ate the next day. The only thing the place could improve upon is the service and ambiance. It's a small place with only a few tables and since they prepare everything from scratch, they take a while to get the good ready. When I go there again, I'll probably get a takeout and order ahead.

Got excited to see a vegan restaurant on our way back from Niagara so decided to stop by for lunch. We got the Buffalo Wing Dip, Street Tacos (FANTASTIC especially the green sauce on top) and the Buffalo "Chicken" burger. We really enjoyed the side of fries, they were flavourful and crunchy. I felt the fried "chicken" which was actually oyster mushrooms was pretty oily and salty for my taste. The condiments were yummy so overall they came together really well. The nachos with the buffalo dip were also too salty for me :/ The portions are huge, shareable and make for a good 2 person meal. The folks were very sweet, asked us about our trip and made lovely conversations.

So many great vegan entrees and thankfully such reasonable pricing. Selections are creative and delicious (for example, Carrot tuna dip)...this is a vegan restaurant you can bring your carnivorous friends to, and they will feel like they're not missing out. Lots of "meats" like chick'n, shrimp, steak that are subbed out for non meat items (Konjac, soy, impossible brand, etc.) It's like an "I can't believe it's not dead animal" miracle. The owner Nikki was onsite (she seems to work at least 6 days week) & was incredibly friendly with all customers, greeting many by name. The place is bright and has a laid back fun vibe, with old school Maxwell, MJ & other great music pulsing in the background. They have parking in front & it appears that their front porch facing Jefferson would be a really nice place to eat once warmer weather arrives. #blackownedbusiness

Ribs, jalapeno cornbread, mac and cheese, sauteed greens.

Great little place... And there was a parking lot! Which I have learned is a rarity in Buffalo, where you normally have to park on the street and step through snow to get to a place. We got 3 things: The pastelillo (no photo) was basically a fried empanada and it was very good. One was good enough to split for 2 people since it was deep fried. Chicken bacon ranch sandwich: homemade fries were good, sandwich was good, ranch dressing was excellent. Ribs with mac and cheese, cornbread and greens: the star of the restaurant. This was awesome. It seems the ribs were made of jackfruit and it was the most innovative use of jackfruit I've ever seen. Mac and cheese was great, too (not overly salty like it is at a lot of vegan joints).

I haven't tried a lot of Vegan food, so my expectations were modest going in, but i had the Impossible Niyah Steak hoagie and it was bomb! It came with a fries and honestly, I didn't think about the fact that there was no meat on that "steak" hoagie the entire time. It was that good. Highly recommend checking out if you want to try some delicious vegan eats. If I ever went vegan, I'd feel good knowing options this good are out there!

Honestly, where do I even start with this place. Well, let me start here if you haven't tried Sunshine Vegan Eats get there ASAP. It's the Black owned and vegan for me! In my short 2 months in Buffalo, I have been to this place more times than I think my bank account or scale would like to admit. When you walk in the atmosphere is super welcoming. I can tell that they are intentional about the vibe they are curating. During Halloween and Christmas, they had all the nice decorations going on and whatnot. I've tried so many items during my time here which I will talk about individually below from very favorite to still good but not the best thing that I ever had. The Buffalo Chicken Sandwich - 6/5 Listen this sandwich was so delicious. No kidding it is one of the best vegan chicken sandwiches that I have ever had. A strong statement but it was everything from the flavorful slow to the texture of the patty and the bun they use.... chef's kiss. Sunrise Breakfast 5/5 Phenomenal. Love the crispy golden egged pancakes. Kickass Burger 5/5 Cookies 5/5 These are the bomb. Pastelillos 4.5/5 The Belt Burger 4/5 It was good. It was just a lot for me personally. Impossible Niyah 3.2/5 I was not in love. It legit just tasted like to impossible ground beef on breed to me. Flavorful but just okay. Vegan Lasagne 2.8/5 I just was not in love. Food always comes nicely packaged with the utensils I need. Customer service is always on point! The restaurant is clean and welcoming. The ambiance is on point with the music vibes. Potential Cons: sometimes it can take a minute for the order ( no more than 30). The parking lot is small. It can get pricey, but it's worth every penny! We also should pay small locally owned businesses and Black-owned at that in the middle of the pandemic.

Inside the magic of this Jícama-boned wonder.

Beyond whatever you were expecting & more. The selection is huge, service was fast & everyone working made me feel very welcome. Ordered a Kale & Black-eyed Pea soup, jalapeño cornbread, a single order of the Buffalo wings (I couldn't resist trying and I took the majority of them home for dinner) & snagged one of their signature juices. The serving portions are very generous and the quality is tops. There were so many options it was a difficult choice even giving myself a spare plate to heat later at home. I will have to make haste in returning to satiate my lust for their menu. Even if you aren't veggie, you should go to Sunshine. You won't miss the meat!

    Impossible Niyah w/fries
    Jennifer H.

Heard about this place from a local article and it's definitely worth a visit!! I got it on Grubhub delivery so it was pricy, $25 for a sandwich and fries. I'd definitely go back to have this meal again and to try other things. I got the Impossible Niyah. It's a vegan steak hoagie. I'm not vegan and I wouldn't have even been able to tell that this wasn't meat! Very tasty!! Wish there was a little more sauce but I know to ask that for next time. I recommend you try whether or not you like vegan eats.

I ordered the tuna salad "veggie"... I meant to get the salad version but she asked if I wanted "regular", and not knowing what that was, I agreed. Turns out that was served in a thin pita. Still good! But the pita was so stuffed with delicious foods that it fell apart, so I enjoyed it as a salad anyway.

The other 1/2 was well done. The seasoning was very nice, but disappointed to have well done steak. Our waitress was nicely attentive, as was her assistant who kept our water glasses filled. The restaurant was quite busy, getting busier as we enjoyed our dinners. I am glad we had an early reservation. I might have missed this note on the menu or website, but there is a credit card usage surcharge. Luckily some of our party had enough cash. The steak, although pink, the crust was burnt and tasted like nothing other than burnt meat, just not good. The crispy gnocchi on the plate tasted like fast food mozzarella sticks. We also got the potato pave, the dill sauce on it was good but barely there, the bacon jam on it smelled and tasted terrible, which made the entire thing inedible for us. The cocktail was not good.
