Great food. Beautiful location and friendly service. Will definitely be back. They have a really nice shoot as well with great clothes and all you will need for a day on the water. They rent pontoon boats, bug and small. Great place.

The food here is great! And you get plenty of it! It's also a fun environment, especially when there's live music.

Chimney Rock Marina is one of a few marinas in the area that offers pontoon rentals. The Marina is well kept and family run. The pontoon was a 21' Bentley, which was clean and a decent rental. We had a great afternoon on it. Overall great experience and nice memories made. I did want to mention that I was a bit taken back when we returned the pontoon keys. We came back to the Marina and immediately walked the kids back to the RV to change and clean up a bit. Part of the rental agreement is "no pets allowed " We are rule followers, and we locked up our dog in the RV all day. When my wife and I, and now our dog on a leash, walked back down to the Marina to drop off the keys and end the rental, the owner accused us of bringing the dog on the boat. It was very awkward and really turned me off. I encourage them to review their video ( cameras everywhere) to stand corrected. 1 star off.

I prefer this side of the lake anyway so you don't have a ton of options but for what you pay, improvements should be made. They redid the dock story last year after new ownership and that's about it. The steps to the parking lot are over grown with weeds and unusable, and the overnight boat slips are always filled with trash, nothing to tie up to, and half of the slips are unusable. I won't stop coming here, but this place has a lot of work to do.

They've done exactly that and then some. I wholeheartedly recommend Marine Works and owner/master mechanic Danny for an overall quality experience. Before I bought a boat from them they did the maintenance and fixed anything i had wrong with my original boat. Danny would take the time to walk me through troubleshooting to make sure it wasn't something small before I drove an hour to bring my boat down there. He always shot me straight and was fair which I appreciated immensely. Fast forward a year and I bought my brand new boat from them. The process was seamless and they took care of everything for me. If I didn't like how something was done they made it right. Danny has always made me feel like a priority which is all you can ask for from a dealer.

Good customer service is not dead!!! It is alive and well at Marine Works!!! As I said before, I don't live there but if I did I would buy my boat from them! Thanks Janice and Tina!!!

The boat is well maintained especially considering its age! There are plenty of places to sit or stand to enjoy the views. The bathrooms are spacious. If you purchase the buffet, they have you placed at an assigned table. The buffet was better than expected. We're not talking gourmet, but an above average meal. Salad, grilled veggies, roasted potatoes, and herb chicken. Some rolls and of course cookies and pastries at the end of the line. A picky observation, the cucumbers were sliced so thick that we couldn't cut them with our plastic knife. Once they ran out of rolls, there was no restock. Same with the water & lemonade. They only refilled the pitchers once during the two hour tour. I'm guessing they wanted us at the bar. At $12 for a bourbon & $7 for a coke, I can see why. Our only suggestion would be to fix the PA system so we could understand the garbled messages. And it would be nice if someone from the crew actually told us what we were seeing as we passed fancy houses, barges and buildings.
