Be sure to try the baked spaghetti with wonderful homemade Italian sausage. This is a family owned and run business. The service is superb! Everyone is so friendly and cheerful. You are greeted as if you are family. That made me feel as if I'd come back my hometown Chicago. I would love to have a family reunion here because it is a cozy place with a friendly crew. No pictures because I am too excited to eat.

We ordered the bacon breadsticks. They were good as long as you ate on the outside. The middle was soggy and checked the dough was not fully cooked. We ordered the supreme pizza. The crust of the pizza. Was good and toppings were good as well. No issues there. The main issue was the sauce. It was basically all tomato paste but did not taste like tomato or did really have any flavor. It was odd at best. Other things observed. My wife noticed French fries in a heating box. They were there when sat down and did not move until we already had our pizza. It was at least 10-15 minutes. Then it was served to the table behind us. Needless to say they did not eat but a few of them. We looked after they left. From what I heard around everyone else likes the Alfredo sauce and the bruschetta. I do not think I will be returning. If I do I will be trying the pasta with Alfredo. The prices were fair and the service was good. I just really wish I could say the pizza was worth it.

Sadly, my experience this time left room for improvement. The salad was certainly yummy and I loved that. However, I had trouble ordering on the app. It wouldn't allow me to select that I wanted bread and it showed that it would be ready in one hour after the order was placed. I tried to call to have it resolved and they didn't answer the phone. When I showed up, I waited in line to get help and was sent down to the cashier at the end. My order wasn't ready and I wasn't offered an apology. It was a disappointing experience overall.

My salad was pretty basic just greens peppers and tomatoes with no dressing on the side . I paid a little over 7.00 for it . I got it home and used my own low calorie dressing and added some protein to it . I think the girl that took my order thought I was crazy when I adamantly declined dressing lol. All the veggies were fresh and tasty as well. She was very friendly and the guy working with her was friendly as well. I love the aesthetics of this store it has a very rustic but cool feeling to it . It's clean and well lit . They've got a unique selection of lemonades to choose from . And I wish I could have one or two . (Maybe on my next cheat day I'll stop in and grab a lemonade).

A salad that is served to you by an employee, not gathered from a bar that has sat for hours and has food and utensils that have been handled and coughed over by hundreds of people? Then Vinaigrette Salad Kitchen is your answer! I was so pleased to find this wonderful salad kitchen so close to my home. The Shelbyville Rd area (near 265) is overrun with fast food and bar/barfood options; there are few healthy, delicious options. So yes, I was thrilled to find Vinaigrette. There are suggested salad offerings (e.g., Bluegrass Blackberry, Harvest Kale) or, one can build their own. I have some dietary restrictions and the staff were very kind and accommodating, even making helpful suggestions as I went down the line to have my toppings added. I opted for the BLT deluxe and it was beyond delicious. The bourbon smoked paprika dressing was definitely a hit! In addition to salads there are also some really appetizing grain bowl and soup options. I'm going to have to be a frequent flyer to try several of them! As if they delicious salad wasn't enough, they had several tea options, including my favorite, unsweetened hibiscus! My husband was in awe with his orange/ginger lemonade. The establishment was very clean, as was the restroom (well-stocked too). Vinaigrette is located in a small strip mall, just off the intersection of Shelbyville Rd and North Hurstbourne Parkway. Thank you, Vinaigrette for being in my 'neck of the woods; I'll certainly be back!'

Then finally when it did come, our daughters food came first and much later, nearly 10 minutes, our meal came. Normally, the meals should come at the same time, or at least, close together. They tried to say, "we have to make the food in the order it was taken. We all ordered on the same ticket! We noticed they had trouble finding the tables every time they had an order. I thought that is why everyone took numbers to the tables! When our meals finally came, we had to ask for napkins and silver ware. Then we had to get our own refills. When we first went in the TV was on but no sound. It was perfect. Then the TV went off and very loud music came one. Not good. My husband ordered unsweet tea, which ended up being nasty, sone designer tea with mango and passion fruit in it. They replaced it with water. We did ask for a refund and got it. My daughter ordered a BBQ chicken pizza. However, the sauce was also nasty, some kind of Ale 8 mess. They replaced it with a different pizza. However, we then had to wait once again for the new pizza. WILL NOT GO BACK!
