I have been wanting to go here. Finally after move out at GT convinced my college student to go. We took home some pretty epic desserts. It was tough to decide which ones to choose. Everything looks so yum! Greeted by super sweet young people working the counter. The decor is so perfect that describes how you want to feel when you enter a dessert shop. I came in by chance because u was going to take donuts to work and the donut shop I like was already closed. Boy im glad it was that was divine intervention! I had always wondered what all this place had but to say I am MIND BLOWN is an understatement!!!! I an officially addicted and want at least one of everything. The strawberry rhubarb muffin is to die for. I really wanted a lemon poppy but my co-workers ate them all the peach cornbread was amazing. Such a treat! (Literally) I've been following the business on Instagram for about a year now. This past weekend I finally stopped in and had such a wonderful experience. First, it's just so cute! As you approach, you can't help but notice the beautiful mural on the windows. Then you step inside of the most charming little bakery. There are tables for in-store dining and tasty treats everywhere. Cookies, pies, croissants, refrigerated salads and sweets, candied nuts and even Rice Krispie treats. These are just some of the items available. I've never been to a bakery with that many different offerings. Everything looked amazing and everyone in line lets us know that everything is delicious!!! Honestly I wanted a bit of everything, but I had to have some self control. In the end I walked away with muffins, bars, a Bundt cake, a cake pop and tiramisu (this was all shared with another person). Just like the other patrons said, I quickly learned that everything was in fact delicious! It was fresh and so, so good!!! The staff was very kind and I think that Rebecca herself came out and chatted with us briefly. This was my first visit, but definitely won't be my last. I wanted to love it. The variety and number of pastries is amazing. Everything looks great. But why was there so many items left at 5pm? I got 3 items. Raspberry filled donut, Lemon Swiss Roll and Butterscotch tart. And a latte. Nothing tasted fresh. Id say the donut was the best, the other two were not good. They were stale tasting. Lovely space and people! My fav thing I ordered was a salted caramel pretzel chocolate chip cookie! I think you can pass on the pistachio cake (overall didn't have that nutty pistachio flavor) and wedding cookies; that oddly weren't sweet enough. Holy moly this place is dangerous. I'm so glad I don't live close to this store because I wanted to try everything. Huge selection of all kinds of desserts. We got a lot of different desserts, but my favorite hands down was the chess bar. I wish I could have tried the HUGE black velvet cupcake. Our Aunt says the chicken salad here is amazing. read more

OMG the food here is awesome! had a plain crepe, and all the Dubai stuff they had lol. An omlete and the quiche. The omelette was supposed to come with biscuit. I didn't get it and had to ask, they said they didn't have any and had to substitute a scone. Wish they could have given me a croissant instead but they said no, this after spending $60. The scone was gross. The coffee was great too! The young staff would be better at working at Taco Bell, unenthusiastic, bored and not very pleasant. This place had a variety of baked goods on display, but I came seeking a fresh crepe. The white chocolate raspberry crepe I received delivered a melt in your mouth quality with a tongue-tingling flavor contrast and was a good size. I noted that they had the option to take some cakes and make them into shakes or something like that, which is probably very tasty and probably has a horrifying glycemic index. But assuming you didn't come to a dessert place looking for health food, you'll be satisfied. It is a little shop, but they did have a couple of tables set up outside when I was there. read more

The CUTEST dessert shop in downtown Georgetown! I was given a gift card to Rebecca's by one of my students and stopped in this summer to redeem. Walking in, the smell of all the sweets is enough to entice you to want to try one of everything! There is a great assortment of cookies, cakes, pies, and other baked goods. I picked up a mini cheesecake and two cookies that are decently sizeable. Everything was delicious! We enjoyed every bite. I will be back! read more

Everything I've had here is absolutely delicious! I'm an avid baker and come from a big family of talented cooks and bakers, so I am a little snobbish when it comes to what I'll pay money for. Every time I stop in I buy multiple treats so I can try as many as possible. I have good intentions of eating my box of treats over several days, but honestly they never really last long in my house! Today we stopped in about an hour before closing, and while it was obvious they'd been busy selling out trays all day, we still have several items to choose from. Looked forward to the huge cinnamon roll Desserts by Rebecca prepares each day; however, we were disappointed. While the roll was definitely large enough to share, the flavor of a true cinnamon roll was missing. The roll was dry, and lacked cinnamon. The only flavor of cinnamon was sprinkled on top and not between the layers as a true cinnamon roll shld be flavored. Not only was the flavor missing, the glaze was straight powdered sugar glaze with only the flavor of pure powdered sugar, no vanilla flavoring added leaving the overall taste very bland with a kick of straight powdered sugar. Trust me when I say, I will definitely be back! First, everything looks phenomenal! The most difficult part of your visit will be deciding what to get, and attempting to get yourself not to purchase way more than you need. (Pro Tip: You need it all. Don't stop yourself. Buy everything!) Secondly, the staff is absolutely amazing! They are so friendly, will answer absolutely any questions you have, and will help you with any requests. I spoke with three different staff members and they were all great! (And they boxed my items the way I requested and iced my coffee for me.) On this visit I opted for the Snowy Mocha, and it was delicious! I didn't even know they had coffee here, but you should definitely check it out because it's really tasty and they have lots of options! I also picked up a Lemon Tart, Strawberry Shortcake Roll, Chocolate Meringue Nest, and Sugar Cookie. Plus, I sampled some type of brownie, and it was out of this world! I will definitely be back, and I will definitely be trying way more of what they have to offer, but based on this visit I HIGHLY recommend the Strawberry Shortcake Roll and Chocolate Meringue Nest. And if you're only going to try one thing, make it the Strawberry Shortcake Roll. Y'all, I'm not even that obsessed with strawberry desserts. I'm a chocolate girl. But this roll is unreal! I am glad that place exists in Georgetown, more locals need to support this. Workers are genuinely nice, attentive and make it a very welcoming environment whereas some baristas/workers at chain places will rush you, be impatient and behave as if they have no time for you. Great spot. read more

Horrible, condescending service and a bad attitude. My wife wanted to surprise me with a birthday cake from this bakery. She first found that they cannot be reached by telephone. They list a phone number, but it goes straight to voicemail and they never respond. She then e-mailed the bakery, which responded immediately. Besides the fact that they demand at least two weeks notice for a cake order without a "rush" fee (my thought was, it's a cake, not a resignation. . .two weeks notice for a simple cake order was absurd), that apparently they refused to bake a cake for our family. That's right. Refused. At any price. They refused to serve us. Why? Because our family was too small. My wife, me, and our kid. A family of three. They said our family was too small to warrant a full-size cake and they'd only make cupcakes for us. When she responded that I'm a grown adult and that I'd like a full size cake for my birthday instead of cupcakes like at a child's birthday, they stood firm refusing to bake us a cake and instead condescendingly talked about how cupcakes are "fun for all ages". Yeah. Our family was willing to pay them to make a birthday cake for my upcoming birthday, but they refused outright to do so. Sorry, but service so bad that you literally refuse to serve my family at all is a one star rating. read more

Most of the time things like this I get excited for, and often am let down. This is one of the very few exceptions. We went for the famous desert tacos, but they were sold out. So we opted for a couple different brownies, and a couple bourbon balls. WOW is all I can say. Best bourbon balls I have tried. The lady at the counter was super nice and helpful, and had good recommendations for things she thought I'd like considering the items purchased. I was able to taste a selection of desserts after buying a "beer and dessert pairing" from a brewery in Lexington. The box of treats included a strawberry chess bar, citrus cupcake, macaroon, and a coconut cream puff. None of the flavors were ones that I would typically pick but the taste and quality were all really good. The citrus cupcake and chess bar were the best of the four. read more

this was supposed to be a buffalo Trace 50th birthday cake. It had 40th 50th and 60th on it and it most definitely was not Buffalo Trace. You can see where one spot she got rid of the 60 changed it to 50 and it's quite obvious, but then still left the 40th on there. I totally feel like this was the biggest waste of money, and the worst cake I have ever had! The taste of the cake was like a week old cake or a display cake. Ended up throwing the whole thing away, do not recommend this bakery at all! read more

The prices were very reasonable too, I actually expected it to be quite a bit more ... 2 cookies and a huge rice krispie treat $5.49.
