Thick fresh cut fries with amazing homemade ranch dressing. I had the burger and it's the best burger in Madison County hands down. The brioche bun is buttery soft but the meat itself was flavorful and fresh and that's what makes this the best burger in the county! My wife had the airline chicken breast with succotash and mashed sweet potatoes. This was very good but the kitchen was heavy handed with the gastric and that downtown the dish off a bit. The mash and succotash and chicken were all great and flavorful. Next time I'd ask for a gastric drizzle! Service was fantastic and Honeysuckle has made it onto our restaurant rotation list. Well done Honeysuckle crew!!!

We will never waste our money here again. Service was awful, appetizer burned, both duck and steak were overcooked. My meal was supposed to come with asparagus that was no where to found. When I inquired about the side, I was told that the asparagus was ground up in the half dollar size polenta cake. SERIOUSLY?? Duck portion was less than 4 ounces (mostly fat). . $45 for a tiny filet. These folks are trying to play at being a real restaurant when all they're really doing is robbing people blind with sub par food and service. One person covering 5 (yes, 5 WHOLE tables). Even on an incredibly slow night service was awful. I don't know about anybody else out there, but I don't have $200 to throw away on BS restaurants. Especially disappointing on your anniversary. Let we not forget the wines, no brands listed, that tasted like watered down crap. The only reason their Facebook says 100% recommended is because they delete any reviews that say otherwise, Trust me and skip this one. Go to Carsons, Corto Limo or Guiseppes for amazing food and service. Guess I should have ordered the hamburger. Live and learn.

Our Bartender was John, he was quiet at first but then opened up and got friendlier. The shelves had a lot of choices from which to choose, so I ordered a Basil Hayden bourbon. Snacked on French fries, which were crispy outside, fluffy soft inside. Delicious!! I THINK the Owner, maybe he was the head Chef.... Not sure. But, he came out with a new dish they were testing. It was flounder on a bed of a crispy potato patty, swimming in a Beurre blanc sauce and topped with some tomato jam. OMG.... it was delicious!! What a great combination. If added as a "Special" or a "regular" menu item, I would definitely order that !! Definitely a good stop, if you are visitng Danville, KY.

Finding Mediterranean cuisine anywhere can be difficult, but having such fine Mediterranean food…read moreright in the heart of Lancaster is nearly unbelievable. This place has a name and an exterior that hides what it really is--an understated place with massive Mediterranean flavor and quality. Tonight my wife and I came in around 7 or so on a Saturday night, an hour before they closed and with a show going on at the Lancaster Grand across the street. We were their second to last customer for the night. The place was packed when we got in, with close to 10 parties seated. One was a very large group. Working was the owner at the grill, his wife on apps and plating, and one young man waiting tables and bussing. We overheard that their second waiter had called in that night--naturally your help calls in on your busiest nights. It is likely for this reason that the lady below left her unsavory review about the wait time. She was probably hungry and they probably had somebody call in, and they went to their show hungry so she took it out on this restaurant's page on Yelp. I'd say that blame falls on her lacking perspective more than this restaurant lacking quality. Some folks from the area may not be accustomed to food like this, and it may not hit them right. But folks who know good food will love this place, as we heard multiple other patrons raving about how good their food was. Ours was no exception. I got the three kabob shawarma platter which was excellent (though the "market price" for it ended up being an astounding $46. The idea must be to share it among two or three folks.) My wife really enjoyed her hummus with chopped up chicken shawarma and roasted almonds, just superb with the pita chips and pita bread served alongside. Y'all, the hummus is special here. The food options in Lancaster are limited. You've got your standard bbq spots, the little pasta place around the corner in the Lancaster square which I've reviewed separately, your token Mexican restaurant, and then your fast food chains. This spot is a real hole in the wall that outshines all of them when it comes to flavor, while putting on no airs. Just be prepared to sit back, wait patiently to be served, and maybe inquire as to what the "market price" is if you (like me) weren't intending to come away spending $75 after tip (having ordered waters to drink).

We saw a man and a woman fixing food and three wait staff in the restaurant. The place seemed pretty busy, too, which we took as a good sign. We placed an order for two shawarma plates and a hummus appetizer. Then we sat. We heard a man sitting at the bar say he had been waiting for his food for over half an hour. Uh oh. We heard the lady behind the counter fixing food yelling at the wait staff for the back up of orders. We asked about our appetizer two times when the staff came to check on us. We had been there over half an hour, and once we heard the lady tell them she would fix it but she never did. As we had plans to catch a show at Grand, we finally got up and left after sitting there for about an hour with no food coming out to us. Unfortunately, no matter how good the food might be, with service like this we do not plan to visit again.

Great menu, incredibly clean ingredients, and such a nice team making everything happen. What a diamond in the rough here in Danville After needing to change our diets pretty strictly, finding a restaurant in Danville has been wildly tricky. Not anymore! They make everything in house...yes, EVERYTHING. Even the sauces, dips, and marinades. So if you've got a food allergy, they know exactly what's in all the food they serve. Places like this are SO hard to find in this area. Do yourself a favor and go try one of your favorite Mediterranean dishes. Or better yet, try Mediterranean food for the first time. Fresh food, huge portions, strong drinks, just a very out of the ordinary place. Good music, etc. We invited friends to dinner tonight and everything was straight up bad. The pork steak used to be huge, thick and delicious. What came out tonight for our friend was half the size, 1/8 inch thick and cooked to death. Hamburgers are no longer fresh, but frozen and flavorless. Drink portions were completely off. I was served a drink in a large solo cup, no alcohol to be found. I've been telling everyone what a great spot this was for 2 years. Now I am eating my words. Don't know what has happened but it's all been bad. It's one reason I don't go out for breakfast ~ I can make a pretty good breakfast at home. No use paying someone to do something I can do. So, going into Jackson's restaurant, a mom and pop restaurant specializing in home cooked style food, I had my doubts. Walking up to what resembled a school cafeteria lunch line only furthered my doubts. And, seeing the sheer number of different options sitting out behind the glass window only furthered my suspicions. Look, I was wrong. The food here is really good. The service is super friendly and helpful. I was so overwhelmed by all the choices I just told the lady behind the glass counter to pick me something. She obliged with a kindness that made me think she knew me somehow. She chose the chicken and dumplings, beef stew, apples, and two different types of corn bread. Now, I thought initially, and she even admitted, that the chicken and dumplings/beef stew mix was a little unorthodox, but that they were both so good I had to try them. Both were fantastic. The apples were awesome. I liked both types of corn bread. When I got up to leave, she called me over to the counter and said that since it was my first time there, I'd get a free dessert. You all, I was too full to even try. The food here is both tasty and filling. I was in Richmond for a conference at Eastern Kentucky University. So it was really convenient to stop by. But I'd say that even if you're remotely close, it's worth a visit. Don't, as I did, judge a book by its cover.

The location is just off interstate 75 which made it convenient as my traveling companion and I were headed to Cumberland Falls afterwards. Let me start by saying that the food was good, nothing outstanding but decent (if I was rating this place on food only, it would get four stars). I don't know if our waitresses was new but she definitely needs more training. It took forever for her to come take our order and we were the only people there, 4 of us. First off, she didn't know the menu. Even after we pointed to what we wanted on the menu she asked questions that made it obvious she had no clue what we were talking about. Secondly, my friend and I ordered coffee and it was fine. At some point, I asked for another cup of coffee instead of refilling our existing cups she brought us two new cups of coffee. Thirdly, from the time we ordered our food until the time we got it was about 30 minutes. Also, we were eating BREAKFAST and she brought out dinner rolls. Not biscuits. Not cornbread. Not toast or cinnamon bread. Dinner rolls ‍ From the time we walked into the building until the time we left, it was about two hours. Yes, we sat at our table and talked for about 15 minutes after we ate, but the rest of the time was waiting for our order to be taken, waiting for food and refills. I totally understand if this waitresses knew, but they either needed to have someone working with her or train her.

We ordered the bacon breadsticks. They were good as long as you ate on the outside. The middle was soggy and checked the dough was not fully cooked. We ordered the supreme pizza. The crust of the pizza. Was good and toppings were good as well. No issues there. The main issue was the sauce. It was basically all tomato paste but did not taste like tomato or did really have any flavor. It was odd at best. Other things observed. My wife noticed French fries in a heating box. They were there when sat down and did not move until we already had our pizza. It was at least 10-15 minutes. Then it was served to the table behind us. Needless to say they did not eat but a few of them. We looked after they left. From what I heard around everyone else likes the Alfredo sauce and the bruschetta. I do not think I will be returning. If I do I will be trying the pasta with Alfredo. The prices were fair and the service was good. I just really wish I could say the pizza was worth it.
