City ordinance says must be painted not part of it not some of it and same color

Couple updates about my system. One of the first things I asked was if it's a cloudy day and there's a storm coming how would the batteries be able to be charge if it's low sunlight. Was told they would charge off grid. Well, that was a lied it does not happen. The selection in the app is grayed out. It doesn't give you a choice to choose. After doing some research, it's up to the installer to give you the option to be able to do so and obviously Sunrun does not. Second of all learned that some of the clocks run off electric pulse Hz. so having batteries, you constantly have to adjust your clocks due to running off battery versus straight electricity. We are still waiting for the sales representative to come show us how to set the app. I've already stumbled through it and have set it up. Was also told that someone would be able to fix the issue with the batteries, not charging off grid that was five days ago I still haven't heard. I do have to say the system runs great when there is sunlight and your battery get charged. you can run an entire night with no electricity being off the grid but during the winter when it's cloudy and rainy, it'll be hard to get your batteries charged over 40% and you'll be on the grid using electricity

3x3 hole in my daughter's bedroom the sunrun has admitted fault to but hasn't done a thing to fix.

SERVICE IS ABSOLUTELY ABYSSMAL!!! I've been waiting over 2 months for one of their contractors to repair our roof and my daughter's bedroom ceiling after inadequate installation allowed a leak to cause a large hole. No one is responsive. One of our 3 bedrooms is cannot be used and Sunrun can't be bothered to return a phone call or email. COMPLETE BS

    Their promise!

Not even four years into solar and our roof/ceiling/beams are damaged from their incompetent installation job! They have admitted fault and our warranty clearly states their promise to fix it and pay for it all! But over a month later still sitting here with a soggy ceiling and ruined roof! They sent an incompetent or say shady contractor who though he'd get away with a patch job lol um NOPE then we were told we could get our own contractor, I went above and beyond taking time from my job and got three bids and still they blowing smoke! The stress is off the charts and the panels off is costing us money! Our damages are over $30k And more rain coming is more damages since they neglected to get the house tarped after panels removed. The first tarp job caused more damages and was done wrong! My life's mission is to make them accountable! I eat, sleep, breathe and defecate this situation!!!!! I will not stop nor go away til my house is back to the way it was!!!!!

I contacted 4 solar companies, and 3 said they could get the job done in time. Sunlux had the lowest price by $9,000 - $30,000. I liked that Mike Valencia is an owner, so I knew I was not working with a salesperson who might not be with me throughout the process. I purchased a 16 panel, 7.36KW, 2 Powerwall 3 system. From contract signing to Permission To Operate (PTO) took some time, but we got the system up and in service before December 31st. It did take almost 5 months from contract to PTO. Southern California Edison took 2 1/2 months to give us PTO. We did have some issues with communication at first. It turns out there was a key employee who was going through something. Sunlux hired an additional person to help. We then worked things out and communication has been great since. I noticed other reviews that remarked on communication. As far as I can see, that is resolved. I developed a good, friendly working relationship with Michael Valencia, Guillermo Santomauro, and Jessica Delgado. I also got along really well with the installers and technicians who came to my house. The installation and permit process did not go perfectly, but Sunlux took care of everything to my satisfaction, and to the satisfaction of my city (and we had a very particular inspector). If I saw something I did not like, Guillermo worked with me to make sure I was completely satisfied. Sunlux working with me to insure total satisfaction is why I gave them 5 stars. My safisfaction includes the very fair price, a good, safe system, and a company/people I feel confident with going forward. On my first bill reflecting a full billing cycle with solar, my Edison bill was only $10. I won't really know how well my system meets my needs until I have the air conditioning going full force during the summer. If needed, I will have a couple more panels and even another Powerwall added. For now my system produces far more power than I use. The only thing I don't like is having Tesla Powerwalls because Elon Musk's behavior and actions are contrary to my values. Sometimes compromises have to be made. They are good batteries. I feel confident recommending Sunlux, and urge others to consider them in their pursuit of Solar energy.

We found Sunlux through outstanding Yelp reviews, which helped us choose them. The project began with an initial meeting with Mike Valencia, followed by smooth design and coordination. Our project management started with Gabriel Benko during the design and operation phase then transitioned to Elizabeth Haygood, then Jessica Delgado, who managed inspections and the final PTO approval with SCE. Despite the handoffs, communication remained clear and consistent. Our system includes an 8.28 kW solar array (18 panels) paired with 1 Tesla Powerwall 3. Pre-installation inspection, installation, city inspection, and utility approval were all completed efficiently. One of the biggest strengths of SunLux is communication. We were kept informed at every stage of the project, and any questions we had were answered promptly and clearly. The technicians were professional, courteous and did quality work. Overall, SunLux delivered a well-coordinated project with strong communication and solid technical execution. Highly recommended. Deserving of 10 Stars.

Layout, cost, warranty, etc. the decision to move forward made sense for us since the payment ended up less than our electric bill. I remember standing outside one night listening to my neighbor's generator roar to life again. It sounded like a chainsaw tearing through the quiet. Across the street, friends with solar and batteries had their lights on. Their kids were inside watching TV. Life looked normal. Meanwhile, I was packing up my family to leave our home. Rising electricity rates, AI data centers consuming massive amounts of power, and talk of double digit rate increases made going solar the right thing to do. I researched heavily. Built a spreadsheet. Interviewed over a dozen companies. Got bids through Energy Sage, cold called installers, and asked around for referrals. I wasn't looking for a sales pitch. I was looking for people I could trust with my home and my family's security. Infinity Solar felt different from the start. I didn't have to deal with brokers or middlemen to jack up prices. They are family owned, in business over 25 years, BBB A+ rated, and 5 stars on Yelp. Tim, the owner is a C10 licensed contractor, sets the tone for the entire company. His pride and commitment to doing things right shows up in every person on his team. Sara, our project manager, kept everything organized with clear, proactive communication. Blake handled the maze of permitting. If you've dealt with solar permitting in California you know what a mess it is. State, county, city, and fire department all with their own rules. Blake stayed on top of all of it so I didn't have to. Joel made sure the job site ran smoothly. The crew deserves real recognition: electricians Adrian, Ivan, Salvador, and Christian; roof lead Arni; installers Jose, Gabriel, Kieren, Israel, Erik, and Robert; and Deyvis helping with inspection. They showed up on time, worked hard, kept everything clean, and answered my endless questions without ever making me feel like I was in the way. Construction always has bumps. Permits get revised, inspectors want changes. What mattered was how Infinity handled it. Calmly, professionally, and without disappearing. Tim must be a good boss and take care of his people because this is a crew of highly skilled workers who take real pride in what they do. The day the system went live felt like a turning point. Our first outage was December 23rd while setting up for a Christmas party. Power was out over eight hours. The lights never flickered. I only knew because the app alerted me. Tim included a Solar Insure 30 year warranty covering panels, microinverters, wiring, and roof penetrations, including labor. It's backed by an A+ Superior rated third party insurer and is transferable if I sell my home. An installer's warranty is useless if they go out of business, so this gives real peace of mind. Because I verify everything, I called Solar Insure, Enphase, FranklinWH, and REC directly to confirm Infinity is a Premium or Platinum installer with each. They are. I'll break even in 8 years at current rates, sooner when rates keep climbing, and you know they will. But more than savings, it's peace of mind. When the grid goes down, our house doesn't. Infinity Solar gave our family back a sense of stability. I'm grateful we chose them.
