Wev had the panels for Approx 3 years now and all of a sudden I get a $2,500 bill from Edison. They tell me it's a "supplemental bill for the year", apparently it's all the energy I used that my solar didn't cover. We check our panels and apparently they haven't been working and they "supposedly" came to service them a year ago. We of course trusted them and now I have this crazy bill; not to mention the monthly payments to Solar and Edison. The service is ridiculous! STAY AWAY from LARSUN & HARNESS POWER! read more

For some people that are curious about the process of switching to solar here's a summary of my experience. Switching over to solar was on our list of home improvements. One day a salesperson came knocking on our door (they were really respectful) and we decided to set up a date for a consultation. When they came on the set appointment date my salesperson Nicole had everything ready for the presentation. Layout, cost, warranty, etc. the decision to move forward made sense for us since the payment ended up less than our electric bill. About a month and a half later (after the paperwork was ok'ed by the city) the installers George, John, and Adrian came and finished the install in 1 day. The install looks clean, and they did a fantastic job. A day later the inspector came and ok'ed the installers work, and turned on our solar. read more

LarSun Solar - Solar Installation Near Me - Corona, California

Where to start. I had LarSun do my solar w/ roof and panel upgrade. The roofers only put up half the gutters, then the front-side got dented pretty badly by one of their techs with a ladder. Complained to my point of contact (PoC) about the gutters and nothing. I probably would have settled for finishing the gutters and fixing the dented gutter myself. Then when it came time for panel upgrade, my PoC recommended against it, but my panel was too small and they had already taken my HVAC spot in the panel since it wasn't in use for the current panel. They didn't confirm with me about HVAC spot either (although fine as long as panel got upgraded). I had to call SDGE to confirm that I wouldn't be "without power for a month" if we needed trenching to run a bigger line. SDGE tech confirmed before we did any work that it was fine to do. It's been handed off to a service company for any solar issues and the service company hasn't come to fix two of the panels that aren't working. I've reached out a few times with no avail. I give them two stars because overall the job got done and the solar works 85-95%. The roof seemingly has no leaks and the panel upgrade after some confusion went without issue. Inspector looked it over and oked it fairly quickly. The stucco work for the panel was clean and matched. Most of the employees that came by were nice and friendly. The PoC was also really polite and responsive - just didn't get anything fixed from my complaints and pictures, and maybe she just didn't know enough about the supplied line from SDGE. Personally I don't think most people would do the work to call SDGE and talk to electrician friends - they might have just accepted to not do it. read more

They were bought out by another company that went bankrupt and I had to get a third-party company to purchase a annual maintenance contract. That company, HES Solar, has taken my $900 and refuses to respond to any text, email, or voicemail. The installation was fine, my complaint is with the office staff. They do not communicate and are not responsive. The person who was handling our account left and no one bothered to review her open orders. I had to call several times before receiving a response. Our solar panels were installed on November 8, 2021, it is now January 10, 2022 and they are still not operational. If I could give them zero stars I would. Updated: The owner of the company reached out to me concerning my review. They have generously offered to cover any bills received after installation of the panels (December/January) . AND according to the app... we are not generating enough daily energy than we use... in comparison to our SCE records of this year or last year! This company has been such a pain to get everything finished. Paid extra to have bird net surrounding our panels, looked a little closer after several months later and realized they didn't fill in the gaps between shingles with half circles where several pigeons are nested up. In addition to that, they never fully replaced the shingles they cracked and took almost 6 months just to get back out to replace a select few and make an attempt at the current poor quality bird deterrent. Sent a message for support, no response. Paying out of pocket to have the netting reinstalled the correct way since I'm cleaning up bird matter every single day. read more

To start off, Erik was truly amazing when it came down to getting us to purchase solar panels. The moment he left, that's when all the troubles started. The solar panels had gone offline for two months and we had to pay 500$ to SDG&E. LarSun did return the money but now that we are trying to get information in regards to the solars that they installed, no one knows anything. Yes, once they come to your door they sound great but the customer service is truly horrific. I wish I had read ALL the reviews on this company before I ever purchased solar panels through them. I have seen other people complaining about customer service and I have had a similar problem. Calling their phone number for customer support goes straight to voicemail does not even ring. Purchased solar November 2021 was not installed until February 2022 was not operational until April 2022. The sales rep Andrew who I verified is still working with them as of 03/15/2023 Reached out to me asking how Solar has been for the year. I let him know my true up bill was over $5000 and I was not happy after that he never responded to any of my messages. I let the company know and they have not got back in to contact with me.
