Visited 3/17/23 starting off asked about beers offered and what's recommended, the bartender was dry... didn't offer too much help. My first visit to an Oregon brewery and I'm very disappointed. I feel if you're a person of color your service is lack luster, also if you're from another state it's an issue. As someone who had worked in the customer service industry for over 10 years this they do not offer a welcoming environment and it was very disappointing. Zero out of five stars. read more

Absolutely horrid service. Asked to get seated and the person went and waited on tables inside. Had to ask 3 other people to finally get seated. Once seated they immediately took out order without giving time to see the menu. Then said last call was 9:00.l but made us order last drinks at 8;45. Then said they closed at 9 but we could stay til 10 however they would kick us out if we had any drinks at 10:01. The waitress then came over at 9:55 and took the beer from my brothers hand and said get out. It was an awful experience. She was awful. read more

Absolutely amazing experience today! We were greeted immediately by a super sweet hostess and sat down INSIDE!! So happy to see indoor dining here. Our orders were taken quickly and the food was awesome. The Wagyu sliders were unbelievable and fries were off the charts. We tried to go to another brewery right before landing here where they were rude and unhelpful, we bailed and headed to try sun river and immediately turned our day around. On the road from southern Ore. to northern Ore. - this is a great stop for a beer & a bite. Lots of delicious ipa choices with very knowledgeable waitstaff. Many choices for my vegan appetite. Had the rice bowl and it made a yummy dinner and lunch the next day. My partner had the Mac and cheese and enjoyed it. One star off due to the higher prices for the food. They try really hard here so I have to give them three stars for that. But........I was way more impressed when they first opened. I loved the old Brussels sprouts with pork belly or bacon or whatever it was. The new ones with the Asian sweet sauce just don't taste right. Leave that for the cauliflower bites and bring back the old ones please. I branched out and had the chicken and latkes tonight. The chicken was awesome, spicy sauce on point and loved the finer in the coleslaw. But......the larked were terrible! Way overcooked, too thin, and almost tasted like they fried them a day ago and received them tonight. And trust me I know latkes after working in a Jewish deli/restaurant run by New Yorker's for years. And it's just so freaking loud in the restaurant. Please turn down the music until people can sit outside for summer!!!!!! read more

Always good. One of my favorite spots to take my daughter out to lunch when I'm in Eugene. Great beers! I had fish tacos and she got the mac n cheese. Food was great and portions huge. Outside seating was spacious. Love this place. If you can't be in Sunriver or Bend this location will have to do. read more

My kids also loved their meals- and they even have a play space for children which is so unique and convenient. My husband loved the craft beer- I believe he had the Rippen and said it was top notch. First of all the staff and the owners are amazing people! I was in charge of planning a going away party and I was in search for a space that could accommodate 20+ people without catering the event. Marc the owner was so kind to let us use there loft space and Collin the manager made us feel like royalty. The food was great and everyone had an amazing time! Stopped by for beers with a friend. Shared the pretzel... it was huge. And really good. Service was attentive and friendly, especially considering they were very busy. Two (old lady) comments: pretty loud inside... and the IPA's all started at 7%... which is a little boozy for me. I'll be back to try the rest of the menu soon. read more

So happy I finally checked this place out! Third time here this week. Service is fast but not rushed. Good beer selection, cocktails have been on point. I did have a funny special request and they obliged. I asked for my special gin and tonic to look prettier and the second one was delivered by the bartender with a jalapeño slice and a piece of cucumber floating down the river in a basil leaf boat. We came here because we had been to the sun river brewery in sun river just a couple months ago and loved it. This one did not disappoint either . We just got nachos, berry cobbler, and my husband got a raspberry/chocolate stout (recommended by the server). Everything was amazing! All 4 of us shared the nachos... they are huge! And the cheese sauce on them is soooo good. I do wish they had booths. And their menu is small, but everything we've had so far at both locations has been so great. Definitely recommend. read more

We were excited to try this new-to-Eugene brewery, but were disappointed on multiple levels. The whole space is very loud and feels crowded (like it wasn't designed to be a brew-pup). Seating is very close together for the most part, which adds to the cluttered, crowded feel of it. Also, while they do have flat-screen TVs for sports-viewing, the tv placement is not very functional in terms of tables, direction, and even being able to actually see the TVs. Additionally, right in front of us when we walked in was Marcus Mariota with a group of 6 others (what we're assuming are recruits in town for the spring game). The staff didn't recognize Mariota, informed the group of the 20+ minute wait, and they left - meanwhile, basically all of the customers were oriented towards the fact that the former Heisman trophy winner was in the building! Could've been a total bonus for the place had they known and chosen to seat his group. Regarding the menu, the food we ordered was very good, BUT if you have the Impossible Burger (vegan) as an option on your menu, and you're already charging for an upgrade to that, then you should not have bacon come automatically on both of your burger options, without a sub for vegans / vegetarians. We inquired politely at order about the option to either not charge us extra for the Impossible patties, or to substitute something in lieu of bacon. Our server gave us all of the reasons why the Brewery does it the way they do and essentially guilted us for asking by saying that they undercharge for the impossible burger as it is - not our problem. And I would be totally fine paying more if they simply had a menu item that was fully vegetarian / vegan. This is NOT a vegetarian/vegan friendly place, despite carrying impossible burgers they still cater to a meat-eating crowd. It's disappointing in Eugene to experience this (very rare!) and we hope that Sunriver doesn't influence other local establishments to start charging more for vegetarian items and then also prioritizing meat-eaters. This past Friday I enjoyed my fifth trip to Sunriver during the strange mid-COVID world we are in. It was the first time eating inside (because it was so busy!) as opposed to the outside patio area, and I cannot stress enough how conscience of state and local health regulations was the staff. From social distanced seating and servers, to gloves/masks and regular cleaning, the crew did an amazing job on that front. Not to mention that the food was to die for. The Cubano? Yes please, hermano. Wagyu sliders? Don't mind if I go in head first, next time. As far as the drink menu goes, you can never go wrong with the Vicious Mosquito IPA, talk about a bite! As the weather has cooled and the holidays approach, I tried the Coco Cow and the Coco Cow Stout. Friends, if you enjoy a milk stout with a splash of roasted cocoa, this is for you. Surprised to see so many good reviews. Out of our party of 8 no one was satisfied with their order. The quinoa salad was sorely missing flavor, advertised as containing goat cheese of which there was maybe a half a teaspoon, salmon sandwiches seem to use substandard salmon. I agree that everyone had fun with the beers and that the staff was friendly, just can't get behind any of the food we ordered. read more

Had high hopes but found the food disappointing. The chicken in the lettuce wrap tasted like crushed cardboard- seriously, it did. Wagyu sliders were on the burnt side - not accompanied by (or asked about) lettuce, onions or anything on the side. Tacos were lackluster and limp. Sun river brewing was amazing! My boyfriend and I sat outside by the fire and it was totally comfortable and warm. The service was great. Super friendly and kind. Wow this place has gone wayyy down hill. The food was all clearly frozen. They do a good job cooking and seasoning so I wouldn't say the food is my biggest complaint. The waitress clearly didn't want us to be there. We got our food and she didn't come to check on us until she asked if we wanted the bill. If it was busy that's understandable but there were only a few tables. When she came over we asked for a dipping sauce for our wings (they had given us the wrong one) and another round of drinks. She came back with our dipping sauce. Shortly after brought us our check. Made it clear she didn't want our business and just wanted to move tables out. Sucks to see a place that was once a go-to become such a disappointment with the poor service and lack of care. Also they let people in without masks on which is disappointing to see. read more

Possible the worst brew pub food we've ever eaten...or should I say didn't eat. It's possible that we just happened to order the wrong items but the cauliflower was way more batter and sauce than cauliflower. The sliders were just OK and the lettuce wraps were really really bad. Tough and stringy chicken that you had to really work hard to get a bite out of. Way way way over priced for the quality of food provided. $13 for 4 tiny wraps that were pretty much inedible. Whomever the "chef" is here should be ashamed. Suggestion - PF's is just down the street...go try a real lettuce wrap and take another stab at it. read more

Food was horrible, there was 5 of us and not one person had food better then they serve at a gas station. The waiter also asked us what we wanted for sides for our meal. Then when we got the bill and realized all of them where all 5 dollar up charged. Will end up just like the previous restaurant in there spot. read more

This place is a mixed bag. I really enjoy the beer. The food is not bad but it's not impressive either. The beer cheese looks fantastic but unfortunately tastes bland. I've tried several food items and "OK" is probably the best description - aside from the beer pretzel, which is tasty. The location is excellent and the service is friendly. On the downside, it gets very noisy- to the point it's difficult to have a conversation. Overall, I'd say give it a try. read more

Very bad first experience with this brewery. My boyfriend and I asked to sit at the bar which seemed fine. Until we sat there where a very rude female bartender and manager (I'm assuming) was giving us very rude looks. It made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. The only reason I'm giving this a 2 star is because the another male bartender was very welcoming and polite. I wouldn't recommend or go back. read more

Good food! Love the atmosphere, just like the one in Sunriver. Unfortunately, we only made it to appetizers. We waited forever to have someone even bring us drinks in the first place, and ended up having to ask. Finally got our drink and appetizer order, and the waiter never returned. He took everyone's orders around us, even though they sat down way after us. When we left, he asked if he "didn't come back fast enough for us", well yes. 20+ to order dinner after receiving an appetizer, and having everyone else order before even glancing at us, was too long. It sucked! Definitely will come back in a bit, we assumed it's just because it's still a new restaurant and working out the kinks. Hoping for better customer service next time. read more

Nothing extraordinary on the menu. But not too basic as well. I ordered the beef enchiladas. Price point ok. I felt the dish was slightly lacking. It wasn't horrible but nothing to brag about. I did finish the plate. My girlfriend ordered thai beef salad. I can honestly say nothing thai about it. It was extremely salty and boring. She didn't finish it. The atmosphere is ok. Usual bar/pub scene. Our waitress was very nice and the hostess. Most likely come back and try some other dishes. Hopefully in time the menu will get better. read more
