Absolutely ridiculous experience. I ordered bacon and was given turkey bacon without any warning--then, when I pointed it out, I was told it was basically my responsibility to ask what kind of bacon they serve. Seriously? Since when does "bacon" not mean bacon? That level of laziness and lack of accountability is unacceptable. Instead of owning the mistake or making it right, they tried to shift the blame onto me, like I'm supposed to interrogate the menu before ordering something as basic as bacon. It's not about the substitution, it's about the attitude. If you're going to cut corners or swap ingredients, at least be honest about it instead of acting like customers are the problem. The food was okay but I don't think there was any crab meat in my seafood omelette. I will not be returning, not even for takeout. I was charged an extra $2 that wasn't on the menu, and after calling, no manager ever called me back. When I asked about the manager's schedule, the staff just shrugged and said he "shows up whenever." On top of that, they played Newsmax the whole time, pushing aggressive propaganda with no disclaimers or warnings. I honestly think they overcharged me because they saw how uncomfortable I was with what they were playing. I don't trust this place and would never recommend them. My husband placed an order online for the Corned Beef Hash breakfast. The amount of corned beef hash on the plate was not even half of what is usually on the plate (so sorry I didn't take a photo). Also, he requested the eggs to be over medium and they were over easy. Thirdly, he ordered wheat toast but received white toast. Have been ordering from here for awhile and it's been great. So far my family and I have tried the pizza, subs, wings, salmon, burgers, fries, homemade meatloaf, and cheesecake. With the Chicken Parmigiana pizza being are favorite choice. All have been great aside from the cheesecake being tiny in comparison to other places. Besides that the sandwiches are mediocre, breakfast I had with Salisbury steak was practically inedible with weird consistency eggs(which were somehow flavorless even with cheese), pizza is average at best compared to even national chains, fries are very inconsistent with a few times barely seemed cooked and wings are just ok with Ken's dressing as your dipping options. On my most recent order I was double charged on my card for something I didn't order, when I called the store to have it rectified, the on site manager Carlie was very rude and told me she could not refund my money. Even after I went to the store and showed them my double charge on my bank statement. I was told the owner would call me. A week later I never heard back. When I called again, Carlie rudely hung up on me. I suggest you use CASH ONLY when dealing with this company. If I could give it 0 stars I would After our last few experiences with them, they've done everything in their power to show the previous interactions with them a fluke. My wife ordered a dish, only to get a fork full and find metal wire in it. I call the store asking for a refund of the order and was told "we don't do refunds" I asked for a manager, was told "we don't have one here, you can call back tomorrow and the owner might be in" we wave it off as an ok maybe they just missed it a little, and it's a new hire that doesn't know any better, despite the previous experience having cold food delivered. Then last week we order again, thinking the cold food, and wires were isolated incidents. We were wrong. We paid for items that weren't even included in the delivery. So we call the store. Explain what happened and were told they'd fulfill the order. That was almost 2 hours ago. So the last 3 orders they've delivered cold food, food with metal wires in it with no attempt at rectifying it, to today of them blatantly stealing our money by not refunding or delivering what we paid for. Absolutely avoid this place at all costs. They will happily rip you off. Go for Atlas, Sal's, or Brooklyn pizza or any number of other local places that actually provide hot, metal free food without stealing your money when they make a mistake. read more

So, we ordered from their holiday specials menu and while placing our order for dessert selections we were told the flyer we had was a misprint as desserts are dine in only. This is a great casual dining spot right near The VW service station. The staff is friendly and casual, the prices are great, and the fried flounder was perfect. While I'm kicking myself for not getting pizza at a pizzeria I had a great experience. At first I was nervous to get fish at a pizzeria, but Hailie reassured me. And boy am I glad she did. The fish was perfectly cooked, the breading was crispy but light and while I could of used a bit more heat the savory palette was well balanced and flavorful. The cocktail sauce in a packet was also surprisingly good. I've had so many lovely pieces of fish ruined in the frying process but Sunrise knows what they are doing. I've been to this spot several times when I was looking for a place I could eat and write without feeling the pressure that the table needed to be turned to pay someone's rent. Totally understandable. Each time I visited this place I never saw more than two other tables filled with people. It's almost always pretty empty. I don't know what to make of it. There's a flat screen tv usually showing a movie but the volume is pretty low so it wouldn't disturb any diners trying to have a conversation. The seating is pretty much comfy booths. I wish I could give you the 411 on the pizza but each time I went I ordered a stromboli since I was dining alone. Check the pictures out to see the crab puffs appetizer, garlic knots appetizer and beef stromboli I ordered. The food came timely but being one of two or three guests in the restaurant, I'd expect nothing less. The crab puffs had a great deal of crab meat with very little filler. The garlic knots weren't spectacular but they weren't bad. Could've used more flavor in the marinara saw that came with them. The stromboli was huge. I took at least half home with me each time to share. It was super meaty with green peppers, beef and onions that gave it a slight sweet taste (vidalia onions maybe). It was tasty and did the trick for me. I would agree with the other reviewers that it may be more beneficial in the long run for this restaurant to perfect a few menu items as specialties and scale back on their offerings.
